I then felt that he was following me and I felt unsafe. So I started walking faster and this was around the Courtyard area where they have a large grassy arena. I then tried to avoid his eager ways to communicate with me, I then went toward my car to leave and ask if I needed help with my dog carrier. I then knew I was being followed. I left and then realized I may try to get a friend to join me next time. So point is my review has to do with safety, I felt uneasy. I always felt safe here now things are different and changing so if you are by yourself and you are female and you feel on safe either leave or go have a chaperone walk with you. The presence of this individual was very uneasy I come here all the time for years this is the first time I ever had this issue. Stay safe

This area has evolved over the 25+ years we have lived nearby. Some anchor stores include the Cheesecake Factory, Soma, and Chico's in one section of the Arboretum. Another Area include Target, Jason's Deli and World Market. The Arboretum also includes stores like Hallmark, La Madeline and TJ Maxx (for all the Maxinistas). The Renaissance Hotel is a notable hotel used for special events and conferences and has been around as long as I can remember. You can find just almost anything in this area of the city. We lost some key businesses like TGIF, Macaroni Grill, Pier 1 Imports and Gap. However, places like Trader Joe's and Modern furniture have been great additions. The mix of stores is nicely balanced between... local and national level businesses. The layout is especially walkable with places to sit and relax. The green space at the Arboretum is truly a highlight from picnic areas near Amy's ice cream to the Arboretum duck pond. The Arboretum offers a plethora of business to frequent. The Arboretum, in general, has moderately priced goods and great customer service. We welcome you to try our niche of Austin.

Restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops. Outdoor areas to relax and stroll (Arboretum Duck Pond) on walking trails and tree-lined streets. The mall opened in 1985 and manages to stay relevant in a time when online shopping is the preference over old school malls. Nice place to grab a bite or grab a new outfit.

The layout is easy to navigate, and the space is clean and inviting. Over the years, we have seen the market evolve where stores come in and out. For example, Saks Fifth Avenue was an anchor store for over a decade. In addition, one of my favorite shoe stores, Marmi, was in the Arboretum Market until it was transferred to the Domain. Over the upcoming years, I am sure we continue to see stores transition in and out...however, right now the selection is very good. Pro tips: If you want to go grocery shopping at Trader Joe's choose an early morning timeframe. In addition, Starbuck's can be limited in parking spots near the coffee shop, however, there is plenty of free parking in the broader parking lot. The selection provides a reasonable assortment of items and of good quality. The Arboretum Market caters from everyday shoppers to specialty shoppers in establishments like Blue Mercury (skincare and toiletries), Antiques by Anna or Milk & Honey spa. Customer service varies from store to store. In general, business staff are super friendly and accommodating. It is a great place to shop without the crowds that sometimes large malls bring.

There is a small man made pond with ducks and some turtles. There is a little food vending machine where you can feed the ducks. This review is for their Christmas Tree Lighting Event. We arrived about an hour before the tree…read morelighting and easily found parking in the nearby garage. The beautiful huge tree took over the center of the courtyard. There was live music, face painters, and an ice skating rink. We could not get our grandkids off the ice as they were having a blast. There were plenty of photo opportunities near the tree and by Santa's sleigh. Santa arrived and then after a 10 second countdown the tree was lit up! Then the highlight of the event a fireworks show! We were expecting 5 minutes of fireworks but to our surprise the show lasted for about 20 minutes or longer. This show rivaled any fourth of July celebration. The finale was awesome! Great job Galleria and Bee Caves for hosting this wonderful event.
