Terrible experience at Sushine. Went in two months ago to special order a jalousie window crank. Got it ordered and they said two weeks. Called Eve two weeks and every time they checked the computer and said it wasn't in yet. Called a couple of days ago and now they say they have no record of the paid for order. Of course they never gave me a receipt and claimed I confused Sunshine Marco with Sunshine Naples, where I have never been. They even claimed I must have done an online order, which I didn't do because I went in person with the old crank so I would get the correct replacement. read more

I prefer this store instead of the big box stores where you can't find anything or anyone to help you. About the same prices too. Choose local and keep the money here. read more

I just wanna say that this store is the best store I've ever used. I wanted a heater like they have outside the restaurants cause it's been cold here and I got one from Ace Beau is the manager. And he helped me select one and they delivered at the same day anyway I'm dyslexic so I wound up leaving the thing the butane tank on all night and when I went to turn it on the next day, it wasn't working. I couldn't figure out why. Figured out why I had turned it to the left, thinking it was off and I left it on all night so he sent over this wonderful man named Dan who came right to my He showed me what I did wrong and he explained to me how to remember that left is on and right is off, but here's the best part he took the tank and he went and filled it up with butane and brought it back to me, they didn't charge me a thing. I think they're wonderful people and I give them five stars. That goes above and beyond customer service and if I was you, I would ask for Dan as your handyman because he is an excellent person in many ways a very good guy and so is Beau the manager read more

This place is amazing. We go here often for any home repair item, they always have what we need. The service is outstanding and prices are always reasonable. Wow, this hardware store has everything. Hardware, LED lighting, housewares and giftware, paint...BEST PAINT DEPARTMENT IN TOWN and anyone in town who knows paint knows Missi and Sunshine Ace now has Missi mixing paint for them, big win for us on Marco!! Went in to return a collapsable garden hose that had exploded. The employee couldn't be bothered to look up the purchase and accused me of trying to rip off their store by returning something I didn't buy from them. This store is located on Marco Island, where I live and is the only hardware store I shop. It's my first choice, go-to store. I was willing to support a local business and pay higher prices for the convenience. Not any more. I'll be using Amazon and Lowes for all future needs. Better prices and service. read more

OK I had to update my review as I believe In giving businesses a second chance. Well the second chance was worse than the first! What is going on with these retired over 60 trades people? Were they not taught people skills and customer service? I am a retired sales professional myself and know how important it is for a business to provide both. On this trip I ask one of those retired have to supplement my social security because I did not save enough store box mover a question, and he smirked at me what is it you are holding! Clearly he must need more amplification in his glasses as I held right in front of him a doorbell transformer. Mind you he was stocking the electrical aisle so I assumed he had some knowledge of what he was stocking. The answer to my question cake in one quick yea I think so....... This works on multiple voltages. Great I got my answer but I felt he was not pleased with me interrupting his stocking of the shelves. Overall the cashiers are the only saving grace here and that is also changing. On this visit I could hardly hear what the young Spanish cashier was saying. They need to realize that when you speak to people you need to look at them not the computer in front of you. P.S I am Hispanic this is not one of those racist remarks but an observation. I do not mind their higher prices I mind their poor service at higher prices. Overall this is one failure of a hardware store. Marco truly needs a better option then Sunshine Ace or they need to fire the person who is doing the hiring at Ace. Come on Down Orchard Supply!!!! read more

Horrible, witch women at cash registers. I came in during a monsoon so was only customer in store. I had to ask one of these women 3 times for help. When she finally stopped playing with her phone she said "What do you want?" She reluctantly paged for "customer assistance." When employee arrived he walked right by me and started helping a guy who'd just come thru the front door. I tried to get his attention but he ignored me. I asked the same disrespectful woman to call someone else for me. Still playing with her phone she refused and said the employee would be back in a few minutes. When I expressed frustration the second woman cashier, while laughing, said to her co-worker, "It would have helped if she'd been standing at the end of the right aisle!" The laughter and insults continued- if I'd known which aisle had what I was looking for I wouldn't have needed help now would I?! And you guessed it - the manager had just left for the day! I put down the other items I'd planned to purchase and left the store. I'd been a loyal customer for 14 years but will never shop there again. The owner needs to remove the word "Sunshine" from the store's name! Shoppers beware! Walmart has higher quality, less expensive items and a friendly staff who are happy to help the customer find things. read more
