I'm updating my review. Edith, the owner, called me back ASAP and not only apologized, but had the girls come back out to my home to clean it again at no charge. Not only that, Edith herself came before and after the cleaning to make sure it was up to par. I am convinced the other cleaning was a one time thing and would recommend this company to anyone looking for a new cleaning service. They genuinely care about their clients and the service being done. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!! read more

Sunshine Cleaning gave me the option of doing a cleaning on an upcoming Saturday or the following Saturday. I chose the second so I'd have more time to prepare. Then, they waited AN ENTIRE WEEK to inform me that the date that they had given to me was not going to work. So then, they gave me an upcoming Wednesday, but also said that there would only be one person doing the job. I asked if this would be a problem. They said no, that the cleaning person would arrive between 8:00-9:00am and get the job done that same day. The day before the cleaning, I called to confirm that all was ok. They said it was. But then, a few hours later, they called back late in the afternoon to inform me that this was a 10-hour job that 2 people could have done in 5 hours, but that they only had one person, so she would be arriving sharply at 6am. I said absolutely not. I had already given them latitude that others would not have when they canceled the first time on only a couple of days notice on a date THEY had scheduled a week prior. No way were my husband and I going to live on 4-5 hours of sleep to accommodate their last-minute demand. So the woman on the phone just kept stating that their cleaner would arrive at 6am and get the job done in 8 hours. So I said, "how did a 10-hour job suddenly become an 8-hour job? Are you planning to cut corners?" She just went back to repeating that the cleaner would simply show up at 6am. The fact that this was not what we agreed on -- nor what we wanted -- didn't register with her one bit; she just kept pushing for it incessantly. I gave up and canceled the cleaning. And I rarely review companies in a negative way, but this was a slap in the face, and damaging to us at a time when we needed this job done well and in a timely manner. If they're really too busy, they should have simply told me "no" in the first place. They way they handled this was so self-serving and arrogant that I will never call this company again. read more

The two ladies who came from Sunshine Cleaning to clean my apt did a fantastic job- they made every surface sparkle and shine! They even used natural cleaners, like vinegar, instead of harsh chemicals, which I appreciate since I have kids and pets. I didn't even have to ask, but they cleaned all the dust off of my ceiling fan. Scheduling is so easy and everyone I've spoken to on the phone has been very professional. My realtor recommended this company to do a clean out for a house I was getting ready to sell. I had one walk in closet filled with the estate items, family photos, and other valuables, that was very well organized and obviously valuable items, such as a firearm, passports, family photo albums in plastic tubs, new bedding in the original packaging, small appliances in brand new condition, unopened alcohol bottles, cleaning products, toilet paper and Kleenex, expensive leather riding gear on hangers, files and paperwork, artwork, etc. The cleaners were instructed not to go into the closet. During the course of the day, they texted and asked if the homeowner wanted the items in the "garage" taken as well, and the realtor advised "Yes". When I went that evening to check on the work, the closet was EMPTY. Every single item was missing. I called the realtor and got the owner's number and called. She reluctantly met me, with her husband and two other people, at the house, and proceeded to blame the realtor and refused to accept any responsibility. After a great deal of arguing and yelling, and threats from her husband who I believe is a police officer, I got most of my items back, the maids including her, had divvied up my possessions for themselves. They threw my riding gear and family photos in the trash can along with dirt and other trash. But they took the firearm, the passports and other valuable, because they recognized them as valuable. They outright stole the cleaning products and toilet paper and kleenex, they told me I had "no proof" that those items were in the closet. I gave them multiple opportunities after that night to return the rest of my items and they won't respond to me. In discussing the matter with my ex-wife, she reminded me that this same cleaning service used to clean our marital residence, until one time when an item was broken, and when she talked to the owner, Edith Ramirez, she did the same thing, she denied it, she blamed other people, and she refused to even apologize, let along take care of replacing the broken item. There are so many choices out there, so chose carefully. They did a good job cleaning, but they took my things and refused to even apologize, let along offer to make it right. Instead, she blamed other people. And I told her I was going to do this review unless she made things right, and she ignored me. I will remove this bad review if she makes things right with me. I'm not here to hurt anyone's business, but this is something people need to know to make an informed decision. I see I'm not the only person who said these types of things too. read more

Sunshine Cleaning is a fantastic company! I called them on a Friday Morning for an "emergency" cleaning and they were able to get 2 ladies to my house by 3pm to help clean up! They did a FANTASTIC job of cleaning every single thing. They cleaned inside of cupboards, in appliances, under things, moved furniture--all the things you would expect to be cleaned without being asked! They even cleaned the outside of the Front Door! They cleaned my kitchen, bathrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen--in detail--in less than 2 hours. If you need any cleaning done, this is the company to turn to! read more

I contacted Edith (the owner) at Sunshine Cleaning after we had all our flooring replaced with laminate wood. The re-flooring process produced an unbelievable amount of dust throughout our entire home. It appeared on our ceilings, walls, floors, furniture, in our cupboards, pantries, window coverings and basically everywhere you looked as the workman never covered anything air tight. I explained to Edith that I have compromised lung issues and as such when they completed their cleaning our home was totally spotless. We were staying in a hotel during this time which I am sure made it easier for them to move around but none the less we were amazed at how good of a job they did and how quickly. It took a crew of four ladies approximately 8 hours to complete the job. I have not had a lot of cleaning done in the past so was a bit skeptical at first but not anymore. I would hire Sunshine Cleaning without any hesitation for any future projects we may ever have. They even took all the dishes out of our cupboards and washed each one of them and cleaned inside all of the drawers and shelves and wiped down each individual item inside and cleaned our oven which also had some residual dust. They also did this job on very short notice and at a fair and competitive price so we could move back in and avoid more hotel costs.
