The place is bustling on a random Monday filled with people the servers know by name and with those they dutifully seat and meet. We were the latter. Our server was friendly. The place is not a diner by east coast standards but instead a small storefront containing a restaurant. It has a room in front and one in back. With the kitchen and bathrooms in between. The difference here is the food! It is 5 Star Midwest type fair here. Good portions and reasonable prices. Oh my! This place had such good food. It easily was the best meal I ate in a week. We sat down already knowing Guy Fieri ate here but didn't know much else. Somehow through pure chance we ordered the three dishes that are the locals favs as we noticed on a card at the table after ordering. The breakfast burrito was the bomb. Yes, you should order it! The eggs with crispy hash browns inside and your choice of meat, I did bacon, was so tasty with the green chili poured over it. It was plate licking good. The 7220 burrito was also a fave with the pork and the same green chili sauce. The chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy was also so tasty. We didn't stop there because we heard about homemade pie and homemade cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon roll was medium sized with home made icing and lots of cinnamon so decadent. The pies we had, peach & strawberry rhubarb, had flaky buttery crusts and full of fruit. One we did as is and one ala mode with a hearty portion of vanilla ice cream. Sooooo good!

Decent sized sitting area so easy to sit down and enjoy your food and coffee. They have only been open for a few months and I would definitely encourage people to stop for great coffee and food. It's not snobbery, it's purely trying to eat healthier foods with less chemicals, etc. Our family member recommended Melissa's and me not being a vegetarian, was kinda skeptical. We opted to try this out - when in Rome... It's a small, cozy place. Staff were really nice. Menu was surprisingly large for a small Wyoming town. The five of us all got different things - lots to choose from. It was all AMAZING! Everyone, including me, loved it. It was fantastic, and portions were large! But what shocked me was the bill. Now if you're from somewhere else, it may not feel this way, but being from LA, the bill was about 1/2 of what I thought it would be. Given it was very affordable, we left a very generous tip as the staff was great. We can't wait to go back one day. Not only was a hot black cup of his light roasted Ethiopian the perfect comfort on a blustery late spring day, his gracious and engaging demeanor instantly made me feel like family. The food itself was below average, but what really stood out was the poor service from a waiter with long hair. He seemed inexperienced and inattentive. After we finished a shared dish, he cleared not just the serving plates but also our personal plates without asking. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like utensils. He also appeared to pick and choose which guests he wanted to serve water to, ignoring others at the table. When we politely asked for water, he seemed annoyed, and even placed items on the table with unnecessary force, as if to show displeasure. At times, his facial expressions made it clear he was not happy serving us, especially when we spoke with an accent. That felt very unwelcoming. Despite the service, my uncle still left a generous tip because he didn't want to give 0 at any restaurant, but we left with a bad impression. I truly hope this staff member gets retrained. If you're working in hospitality, basic respect and professionalism should come with the job -- no one should feel like they're being a burden just for dining in.
