Open for breakfast and lunch only. Great bacon and good eggs. Clean restroom. Comfortable seating. Good service. Nice outside tables. Inside seating also available. Seems to be a local cool hangout for the University of Wyoming folks. Seems to be the best breakfast and lunch option in Laramie, WY.

I was told about this little spot and good thing I didn't just go off of the reviews, I thought the food was pretty good and the customer service was excellent! I would definitely recommend and return for breakfast. Moved in our daughter from Sacramento, CA.

Cinnamon roll was amazing. Worth the $8 and can be shared. The chorizo burrito was good but could be smothered in more green chili.

Food was good. Service was good. We set outside with our dogs. Had to wait about 20 minutes for a table.

Lots of travelers find it on Yelp and lots of locals deem it a Nextdoor favorite. The place is bustling on a random Monday filled with people the servers know by name and with those they dutifully seat and meet. We were the latter. Our server was friendly. The place is not a diner by east coast standards but instead a small storefront containing a restaurant. It has a room in front and one in back. With the kitchen and bathrooms in between. The difference here is the food! It is 5 Star Midwest type fair here. Good portions and reasonable prices. Oh my! This place had such good food. It easily was the best meal I ate in a week. We sat down already knowing Guy Fieri ate here but didn't know much else. Somehow through pure chance we ordered the three dishes that are the locals favs as we noticed on a card at the table after ordering. The breakfast burrito was the bomb. Yes, you should order it! The eggs with crispy hash browns inside and your choice of meat, I did bacon, was so tasty with the green chili poured over it. It was plate licking good. The 7220 burrito was also a fave with the pork and the same green chili sauce. The chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy was also so tasty. We didn't stop there because we heard about homemade pie and homemade cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon roll was medium sized with home made icing and lots of cinnamon so decadent. The pies we had, peach & strawberry rhubarb, had flaky buttery crusts and full of fruit. One we did as is and one ala mode with a hearty portion of vanilla ice cream. Sooooo good!

With all the hubbub, it was amazingly quiet. Everyone was talking and enjoying their meals, yet we had no problems hearing each other. The coffee gal had our coffees to us asap, with water, and kept them full the entire meal. Our waitress, Keeley greeted us with a warm smile and friendly demeanor. And before we knew it, our meals were served up hot and oh so scrumptious! I definitely recommend - it's worth the 5-10 minute wait! You won't be disappointed! Be sure to bring a to go container for your leftovers - they use styrofoam

He brought us a water bowl for the dogs, and he gave us a ton of recommendations on the menu as well. For our meal, we started with the dolma and kimchi pancake. The dolma was great, but the star here was the kimchi pancake! It was crispy, flavorful with the dipping sauce, and so delicious I wish we ordered 2. For our entrees, I had the General Tso's cauliflower which was the best fried cauliflower I've ever had. They were sooo extremely crispy and very flavorful! You can't go wrong with these or the cauliflower wings. The sauce on this was a tad spicier than I normally like that day, but that did not bother me given how delicious the dish was. My partner got the lettuce wraps which had a yummy tofu scramble that we also really enjoyed. Overall, I love the concept of comfort vegetarian food that Sweet Melissa offers, and I am so glad we stopped by here. The portion sizes are great, and I forgot to mention the great cocktails we had too! I would definitely come back if I'm in town again.

Since we had our dogs, we sat on the patio. Any other day, we wouldn't have done this - it was nearly 90* outside without a single cloud in sight - but our car was in the repair shop and we didn't have another option. We made a note to order and eat as fast as we could. We had our drink orders taken, and the server brought our dogs out a fresh bowl of water. We were waiting for a long time to get our drinks, and even longer to order our food. There was a sliver of shade that our dogs were able to lay under, but us humans were absolutely roasting. After waiting for 20 minutes to order our lunch, I actually went inside to order myself. We spent another 20 minutes waiting for our food to come out, our drinks nearly hot from the sun. When our food came out, the server apologized for the lack of shade and mentioned that Sweet Melissa does have shades, but they don't stand up against the wind, so they take them down. (That's not particularly useful information.) The food? Absolutely incredible. At this point, we had spend double the time we wanted here so we scarfed down our food and cashed out. I would have rather been warned about the patio and suggested ordering something to-go over being told (after an hour) that they know there's an issue with the patio being exposed in direct sunlight during the middle of the day. I want to say that it was worth it, but our service and experience really disappointed me.
