I understand that things work differently in a small town but oh no no no. We ordered a grilled pork chop dinner online with garlic bread and a baked potato with butter and sour cream. The pork chop is so tough and flavorless, the potato was plain, and the green beans taste from a can. We had a long day of traveling and thought we were going to have a hot yummmy dinner to enjoy, but we were sorely mistaken. I also waited 10+ minutes to be acknowledged for the pickup of this online order.

The room smells like urine and ammonia! I don't think the floors been cleaned in 20 years! Just nasty!

This is NOT an Iron Skillet! There are no real ones anymore! There all country pride! Yuk! TA has always been a dive of a company! And they have ruined Petro and have made them just as geto! No real good food anymore at any of them! The restroom are nasty and gross! Management is just as less as desirable, have no idea what they're doing to keep the place up to par for health reasons! Petro was the best around in the early 1990's but after TA got them? They brought them down to their level. And it will take a lot to bring them all back up to the top again?! I feel BP has no idea what trash they have got themselves in to!

I would definitely say that this is one of the best health wise restaurant that there is near by the the interstate I eighty. Iron skillet is pretty affordable for anyone. They have many varieties of different kinds of food and their salad bar looks amazing. This place has a lot of tables. When I walk in its usually full of people. In my opinion a lot of people has the same opinion as me. When I visit this restaurant, I usually order a New York steak medium well. It also come with salad bar and it is about 20.00 dollars. You can see a picture of a steak below the review. The meat is cooked amazingly and the steak is delicious. If you will ever visit it and you will have a trouble finding it, it is located inside of a Petro truck stop. There is plenty parking. For trucks and cars. If you will find a service slow, just remember it is always full so try to have a patience.

It appears to be poorly managed. The workers can only work with what is available. This is not the Iron Skillet.

Lots of travelers find it on Yelp and lots of locals deem it a Nextdoor favorite. The place is bustling on a random Monday filled with people the servers know by name and with those they dutifully seat and meet. We were the latter. Our server was friendly. The place is not a diner by east coast standards but instead a small storefront containing a restaurant. It has a room in front and one in back. With the kitchen and bathrooms in between. The difference here is the food! It is 5 Star Midwest type fair here. Good portions and reasonable prices. Oh my! This place had such good food. It easily was the best meal I ate in a week. We sat down already knowing Guy Fieri ate here but didn't know much else. Somehow through pure chance we ordered the three dishes that are the locals favs as we noticed on a card at the table after ordering. The breakfast burrito was the bomb. Yes, you should order it! The eggs with crispy hash browns inside and your choice of meat, I did bacon, was so tasty with the green chili poured over it. It was plate licking good. The 7220 burrito was also a fave with the pork and the same green chili sauce. The chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy was also so tasty. We didn't stop there because we heard about homemade pie and homemade cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon roll was medium sized with home made icing and lots of cinnamon so decadent. The pies we had, peach & strawberry rhubarb, had flaky buttery crusts and full of fruit. One we did as is and one ala mode with a hearty portion of vanilla ice cream. Sooooo good!

With all the hubbub, it was amazingly quiet. Everyone was talking and enjoying their meals, yet we had no problems hearing each other. And before we knew it, our meals were served up hot and oh so scrumptious! I definitely recommend - it's worth the 5-10 minute wait! You won't be disappointed! Be sure to bring a to go container for your leftovers - they use styrofoam

He brought us a water bowl for the dogs, and he gave us a ton of recommendations on the menu as well. For our meal, we started with the dolma and kimchi pancake. The dolma was great, but the star here was the kimchi pancake! It was crispy, flavorful with the dipping sauce, and so delicious I wish we ordered 2. For our entrees, I had the General Tso's cauliflower which was the best fried cauliflower I've ever had. They were sooo extremely crispy and very flavorful! You can't go wrong with these or the cauliflower wings. The sauce on this was a tad spicier than I normally like that day, but that did not bother me given how delicious the dish was. My partner got the lettuce wraps which had a yummy tofu scramble that we also really enjoyed. Overall, I love the concept of comfort vegetarian food that Sweet Melissa offers, and I am so glad we stopped by here. The portion sizes are great, and I forgot to mention the great cocktails we had too! I would definitely come back if I'm in town again.

There were plenty of tables and we chose one next to the fireplace. The cafe is decorated with care and held so much character. A mix of 80/90s Music was playing in the background. I can see why I saw a few customers making themselves at home with their books and computers. Appeared to be camped out for a while . They had a self service water station with extra napkins and coffee condiments. Newspapers and reading material were in an old fashion holder near the fireplace. This is the perfect place to decompress and relax. We met a doggy too Owners told us their dog walks them there every day to get his treat. This pup was just beaming.
