The booking appeared to go through, so I showed up at my scheduled time. When I arrived, I was told they were too busy and that they didn't have my appointment. After explaining that I booked through their website, I was told, "Oh, the website doesn't work for booking." That was incredibly frustrating. If the online booking system doesn't actually work, why is it still accepting appointments and collecting customers' information? What disappointed me most was that there was no effort to accommodate me or make the situation right. Instead, I was simply told to come back the next day. I explained that I specifically made an appointment because I couldn't come another day, and the response was basically, "Oh well." My advice to anyone planning to visit: don't rely on the website. If you think you've made an appointment online, call the salon to confirm it before showing up. Hopefully they either fix the online booking system or remove it altogether so other customers don't waste their time.

I sat on the couch while a few employees and customers came in. Some greeted me casually, which I appreciated, but overall, there was no sense of structure or welcome. Shortly after, a woman approached me from the nail area and, without any greeting, simply said, "What do you want?" No hello, no acknowledgment, no confirmation of my appointment, just that. It immediately set the tone, and not in a good way. I told her I had a 10:00 AM appointment for a gel manicure. She told me to "sit here" and directed me to a table where nail swatches were scattered and disorganized. I showed her three design photos. She declined the first two and agreed to a very simple nude set with a small evil eye design. She then began working on my nails by buffing them--without removing the existing gel. I had to stop her and point out that I still had gel on my nails that needed to be removed. As someone who has worked in high-end salons, this was a major red flag. Skipping proper removal can lead to lifting and damage, and it shows a lack of attention to detail and professionalism. At that point, I was already uncomfortable and turned off by the entire experience. I decided to downgrade to a regular manicure just to get through the service and leave. The "manicure" ended up being minimal, just basic cuticle cleanup and filing, and still cost $30. I tipped anyway, but honestly, the service did not reflect the price or standard I would expect. My entire career has been in high-end salon environments, including managing nail services, and this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had as a client. I should have walked out the moment I was greeted with "What do you want?" instead of a simple hello. I'm all for supporting local businesses, especially as I'm new to the area, and I would have gladly brought consistent business here. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be returning or recommending it to anyone. I came in for a gel manicure on my natural nails, but 1 finger was chipped. I asked if they could do a single extension, they recommended to use builder gel instead. At first, it looked fine, but after it cured, it was noticeably thick and not shaped very well. As a result this one fell off after a week. I also tried to point out that the shaping on my nails looked inconsistent from one finger to the next. The technician told me it was just because my finger widths are different & it's impossible to make them look the same. I understand that natural nails are harder to make uniform (compared to extensions), but I was disappointed with the lack of effort. The gel manicure itself was okay. I got a pink color with chrome powder, it lasted about two weeks. Overall, for around $50, I feel like you get what you pay for. It wasn't a terrible experience, but the attention to detail, especially with the shaping and the builder gel, was lacking. The service was friendly though, and you get a stamp card for every visit.
