I had a bad experience with this service. They do not actually vacuum the pool through the skimmer…read more They have a portable "vacuum" that doesn't actually catch debris or do a decent job. The pool stays mostly clean, so I wasn't a stickler about vacuuming each time anyway. But he wouldn't even vacuum it when he created a big DE spill mess into the pool after he failed to properly clean the filter. He was paid to clean my DE filter when I was there in order to observe but he refused to let us know when he was doing it twice. I'm a retired pool tech so I knew the mess that could be made if it's not done correctly. Sadly, I ended up with a pool full of DE. I called him back and again he came when we weren't home. He sent me pics that he had opened the filter, but we still had DE coming into the pool. (Kind of like throwing a vacuum cleaner bag back onto carpet! On the third time we called him over to open the tank, as I was watching him open it, he actually said, "If I'm being honest, there are some holes in the grids." This was the problem and the whole time I had a complete set of new grids there ready for him to use! Almost every grid was compromised with a hole or broken spines. He was an epic fail at filter cleaning and customer service and cost us a lot of time and effort that we paid him for. I always had to fix little things he could not or would not handle. They once left my automatic controller door open in the rain, which is a novice thing to do and could have been very expensive to us. He said he was refunding our payment for the filter clean and month of service fee we had just paid him when we terminated, but he did not follow through on that either. He actually quit after just being paid in advance for another month because he just doesn't like to cooperate with the customer or have it pointed out that he isn't treating us right. He sent a picture of the credit via email that he said he would refund, but he never applied the credit back to us. They refuse to reply when reminded of the credit we deserve. Big scam and waste of time and money with this outfit. What makes it even worse is that he purposely does not do a good job!! Only gave one star in order to post this warning.
