A mass burglary of thirty plus units occurred at the Delray Beach Florida facility. What amazes me…read moreis the ease with which this happened, the lack of security at the facility, and the lack of transparency. My primary concern is that the locks were not cut but the lock slide plates. Even with professional tools they probably took 2 minutes to open each one which means that they were there over an hour. Cubesmart company makes a lot of money encouraging everyone to buy a certain type lock in order to have insurance, yet they use substandard materials in the actual plate. No cover Secondly, though the workers claim someone is always on premise, the fellow told me- "you can't expect me to be here ALL the time". The gates supposedly are closed after 7 pm. Yet these criminals were able to drive in and out. Though they had one camera broken, there are many throughout and obviously no one monitoring them. Thirdly, security is not important to them. A self closing glass door to the TEMEPERATURE controlled units has been broken for over a month. It takes quite a bit of strength to open, and people leave it open upon leaving. Finally, though I was notified that a burglary had occurred, my neighbor stores 4 motorcycles there and was NOT notified. I spoke to many folks who had been called and many that were not. Why not a mass e-mail? When I asked for a screen shot of the cameras (that saw the supposed vehicle) for a police report I was denied ("That's just for police!" I was told) When I suffered a burglary at StorQuest in California, I was quickly given a printout so I could file a police report. Since the employees aren't being transparent, I will alert the various news outlets with lots of pictures. I will be moving my three units as soon as I can arrange for a safer location. And as for reviews that say bug free... found lots of rat droppings in two of my units

What I appreciated most about my recent experience with Public Storage is the ease of getting into a unit. It was Sunday afternoon and needed to sort something out ASAP. I went online, looked at locations nearby to find the best price and distance for the size I needed. The site was easy to navigate and I choose a locations. I reserved the spot. A few moments later I got a message to get the app and fill out some paperwork. I filled it out easily and and completed the purchased for the space. Not knowing what would happen next I drove over to the the location to drop of stuff. No one was in the office... uh oh. There was a sign on the door that said sign into your app and get all the things you need. Within moments, I had the code to the gate, went to my unit, there was some paperwork on the insurance I got and a lock to lock the unit. ALL AUTOMATED and simple and easy. Nice work Public Storage. They…read morehave massive amounts of invasive plants/trees/vines that grow over the concrete wall between our properties. In 7 years I have only asked one other time for it to be cut back but this time I have been completely ignored for months on end and through 3 managers. My backyard ONLY has palms and turf to ensure easy maintenance but I have now had to purchase 2 leafs blower/vaccs, rakes, pole saw, large tree trimming loppers, etc. since my yard is constantly filled with leaves as is my pool. Post storms is an absolute disaster that I have let go for years though it has cost many hours of labor and hired help to clean up mess from the other side of the wall. Any sort of acknowledgement would be nice but since it's behind their buildings, and obviously a me problem, I can't imagine I'll get a response until I drop off an invoice for the supplies and my hours of labor to clean it up myself this weekend.

Again I received a notice in November that they received my moving out form. We've left the place on November 25th as too dangerous to park a travel trailer there. It's packed like sardines everywhere, and the roadway is only the width of a car.
