We ended up spending Thanksgiving weekend in Navarre Beach on a whim…read more With no preplanning done, we had nothing to occupy our free time. This is not a bad thing, but just the thing we needed. However, we found out we would be having unseasonably nice weather (even for Florida standards) during our time here so we wanted to do something fun. It was the day before Thanksgiving, and most of the SUP places had closed up for the season. Robert was the only one that returned my call. Personable and friendly from the jump, Robert said he could deliver SUP boards to us that morning, and he was coming from Pensacola. Robert asked what type of car we had, our height, and where we were looking to SUP. All of the questions so he could determine what accessories to bring to meet our needs. He offered to drop off the SUP boards anywhere we wanted to meet. But wanting to SUP at multiple areas, Robert hooked us up with a roof rack system so we could bring our boards anywhere we wanted. Robert showed up at our rental that morning with everything we could need to SUP; boards, paddles, life jackets, leashes, and a soft roof rack system. He showed us how to get the rack and boards on our car, and suggested places for us to not only SUP, but to visit for scenery/food. Robert gave us a map outlining historical areas of Pensacola, and must-not-be-missed restaurants, with suggestions of places to go, things to do. For pick-up, all we had to do was leave our boards outside and Robert came and picked them up. We had such a nice time on the boards, they were in great condition, and the roof rack system worked seamlessly. Everything was handled with ease, and Robert was easily reachable by text. I would definitely recommend Robert to anyone looking to SUP. Oh and their boards are dog-friendly!

The boards were delivered directly to us and loaded onto our roof rack and picked up a couple days later at the same place. Extremely easy, friendly and convenient. 10 stars. Would recommend.

Still fun the second time around…read more My first time to kayak with these guys was 3 years ago. On that excursion, I was fortunate enough to have an encounter with 2 dolphin. Alas, this year, what with Hurricane Sally and all, I did not see my finned friends again. Tony told me that the area lost at least 800 boats when Hurricane Sally came through. Sad. However, I still had a great time. Tony and Tem took great care of getting me rigged up. I paddled all the way back to the main part of the bay near the bridge and spent time exploring several of the islands. Last time, I turned back once I made it to the big island. This year, I made it all the way around the island and then some. There was a strong East wind the day I set out, so the first part of the journey was a bit more of a challenge, but I was ready for it. Fortunately, the trip back was a bit easier with the wind at my back. Still, I fought quite a headwind rounding the Northern tip of the Big Island that day. Thankfully, that same East wind made the rest of the trip easier since it helped me along heading back to Paddled By You. If you enjoy being out on the water, and like the exercise, you need to check these guys out. Good service. Good equipment, and as good of time as you want to have. Oh, and they have kayaks for 1, 2, or every 3 people. That comes in handy when you have a good deal of paddling to do. One last TIP - Sunscreen. Be sure to put Sunscreen on whatever part you don't want to get burned, even on a cloudy day. I also took a larger hat than last time, and was darn glad I did. Now it's your turn. Get out there and get some exercise and have a blast. Maybe you'll even see some dolphins like I did.

We had the absolute BEST time on the Jolly Sailing & Dolphin Cruise!! I serve at a hotel restaurant…read moreon Pensacola Beach, and I can honestly say I will be recommending this to every single guest from here on out--it was THAT good. Mary was our tour guide, and she was truly something special. I wish I remembered the captain's name because he was so kind and welcoming too, but Mary completely made the experience unforgettable. She went out of her way to connect with every single group and person on the boat, and especially the kids. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in every little interaction. My son is 3 and usually stays to himself, but Mary picked him up, let him ring the bell, and everyone cheered for him--it was such a special moment that I'll never forget. As a mom, that meant everything* to me. The whole experience was so fun and interactive--we were waving or dancing every time we passed another boat, laughing nonstop, and just genuinely enjoying every second. The vibe from start to finish was so light, happy, and comfortable. The boat itself was super nice & spacious with comfortable seating, plus you could see everything from every angle, which made it easy to catch every encounter! Pro-Tip: come prepared with your best dolphin puns and your "dolphin call" because they WILL put you to the test This was hands down one of the best experiences we've had on Pensacola Beach. We will definitely be back, and I truly can't recommend it enough!!

Our tour ended up being moved to an earlier time the day before. I did receive a couple of different text messages about the start time, which caused a little confusion on my end, but the crew communicated well and kindly waited for us before departing. The address synced perfectly with the gps to the exact departure location. Parking was free and available immediately by the dock area, but notes this will likely not be the case during peak tourist season. The tour itself was lovely. We had beautiful weather, and the crew was attentive and knowledgeable, sharing interesting history and stories about the bay throughout the ride. We saw dolphins and were able to capture plenty of videos and photos. This would be an especially beautiful tour to take in the evening to enjoy the sunset.
