Probably one of the most unprofessional environments I have ever seen. The three employees working could care less about the experience of their customers or even their safety. A couple in our group flipped over and they had to get another group to paddle in and tell the employees before they noticed. Word of warning. Do not go near dark if you want to see wildlife (fish, rays, etc...) also, the bottom of the boats aren't that transparent and if it's windy you're fighting to stay straight when you paddle. I'm not sure where the other reviewers were coming from when they said it was a magical experience. Basically you paddle up the shoreline and back down. Kayaks will tip over if you are not careful. Just saying... Don't be horse playing and you should be fine. read more

Would we do it again, no. Was it fun, no. It's basically a plastic boat in 3-5 feet of murky water and zero fish or wildlife. Getting wet was to be expected and the view for a second was nice but our group and the other groups came back in within 20 minutes, why (?) because it really stinks. Maybe mid-day might be better or if the employees were nice and at least acted like they wanted to help it would be better. But for the $$, I would skip. Not even the kiddo thought it was fun. We've done the glow paddle twice now and had a fun time both times. We got to see needle nose fish both times. They're adorable.

Never refunded money when they cancelled due to weather even after having paid the insurance. Would never return calls.

$150 to see pitch black water and no fish, do not recommend. The lights and kayaks are cheap and over the entire 45 minutes we didn't see a fish bigger than an inch. Way overpriced. read more

We had such a good time. Was nice you got "free range" essentially and were able to explore at your leisure. Staff was friendly and nice. The only con I would say, make sure you bring towels and wear something that can get wet and may dry easy. We did the 930pm time slot and the insides of the boats where soaked already, which in hindsight our bottoms were as well for the start. My daughter found this place while we were in Destin (this is about an hour drive from Destin). It was the only thing we did on our vacation outside of the beach. Very cool concept! The evening kayaking with the neon lights was super cool! We booked last minute so the only opening available was for 1130 at night... I was not excited about that but we made it work. I think this would've been much cooler around sunset where you get that view and then the night view with the neon lights too :) Things I wish I'd known before booking - you are in a small roped off area so you are not OUT in the ocean - water is only about 2 foot deep in the entire area - apparently there is not much sea life at night, so don't expect to see much - you WILL get wet; our kayak was wet inside when we got in, then water comes in from the paddling (we had never kayaked before); bring extra shorts/pants to change into after - email says to arrive early, so we were rushing as there was an accident on our route, etc... however even if you are late everyone is STILL right there and there is an employee on the shore to help you, you may just miss some of your time read more

Is it worth the $$? Eh... it was something to do. I'd rather do it during the day time when you can see things. We saw a minnow. The 3 young men (employees) were crammed in a small make shift trailer turned check in counter. Again, not very enthusiastic about their job in customer service.. I had to guess that was where we checked in. No one was outside greeting people directing where to go or what to do. Not even a sign saying come inside to check in. The text said to show up "20 minutes early", that's only if you signed up to receive texts... Basically, you rent a see through kayak or canoe without seats and you are free to roam in the "Bay" Area. They tell you where not to go. Some areas are very shallow and some areas are pretty deep. My son was very entertained by people who couldn't figure how to work together to get the kayak to go in the direction they were trying to go. I can see this as a great team building event for corporate groups. This is not a guided excursion... Lastly, this is a water excursion, you're sitting on the floor of the boat. You will get wet.. would I do it again? Only if I was forced to. But you should try anything once... read more

We tried it out and it didn't disappoint. Even with it being a busy Friday night with music playing at restaurants and busy traffic in background, glow paddling was so peaceful. Highly recommend it! I'll be back! read more

Called a day in advance and made a reservation for 6 possibly 7 the girl that answered the phone confirmed our reservation but when we showed up she had already given our slot away even though we were there 20 min prior to when she told us to show up!!! Obviously we were very annoyed but a gentleman that worked there check on us when we were standing around deciding what to do next and where to go. we told him what happened and he made it happen and got us in the kayaks. We did this on a whim the first night...got to watch the sunset on the ocean in our glowing kayak. It was literally so much fun and such a great experience that we went back for round 2. It's like snorkeling without getting completely in the water. Although the water was slightly choppy the 2nd night resulting in more paddling than we really wanted to do, it was still an amazing experience and completely different than the sunset time frame. First off, the crew was amazing! Courtney is the sweetest person ever! Colby and Spencer were a lot of fun as well. Glow Paddle is such a great idea! Being out on the water allowed for such a peaceful experience of Pensacola Beach. My husband surprised me with this experience as a date. It was one of the most fun and unique dates we have ever been on. While in the Kayak we were able to see sting ray, long nose gar, and a few other fish as well! I love how the crew trusts you to paddle as far as you want in the bay. It is fun to paddle around then go closer to shore where you can see the sand through the bottom of the Kayak because this is when you can see the ocean creatures. A good tip for this experience is to wear a bath suit and some clothes that can get wet. While paddling the boat does fill up with some water. Overall, this experience was FANTASTIC. I would 100% recommend this to anyone in Florida looking for a fun night time activity that is unique! read more

We had a fantastic time and we will go again and again. We went at 8:00, the sun was just setting so the scenery was absolutely beautiful. Few facts before you go. 1. The website states you can wear water shoes but they would not let us wear them in the boat... so do not go out and buy water shoes. That should be corrected on the website. 2. The glow in the dark face paint they sell in the gift shop does not glow in the dark. Buy yourself glow in the dark necklaces or bracelets to take with you. 3. If you are worried about deep water- do not worry it is not deep at all. 4. Watch the clock and keep an eye out for them to blink the light when your time is up. It's hard to see the light from a far. 5. Go on Amazon and spend $15 bucks for a water case for your phone and hang it from a lanyard around you neck. You will want to take lots of awesome photos!!!! 6. The only place to change out of your wet close is one port a potty. read more

This was something fun and different to check out in Pensacola! The staff was very laid back but very helpful. We got there right at the time our reservation was starting and they were fine with that. Don't expect to see a lot of marine life since you're in the bay. The water is pretty shallow though, so you may see something! We saw a few fish and someone on a paddle board close by us spotted a ray. Wear clothes you're ok with getting wet. You can purchase glow stick bracelets & necklaces for a little extra, and there's a photo backdrop. read more

The water is brown and none of us were able to see any fish in the water or even the sand we stood on. I would suggest go regular kayaking instead of spending $50 per boat on this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. For a family of 5 this cost similar to a dinner. We went on the sound side and literally could paddle maybe about 30 yards before not being allowed to go any farther. The water you can paddle in is about shin high deep so you may as well just visit during the day. The kayak is also rather uncomfortable especially for taller individuals. For the cost the value to me isn't anywhere close to what you get. Would highly recommend not doing this. The only plus is that the staff is very friendly read more

Awesome experience! The staff was very welcoming, upbeat and helpful. No one felt like strangers or outsiders. We booked the 9:00pm spot. Perfection for after dinner. You have an hour to paddle around looking at the stingrays and fish right underneath you! Water wasn't deep at all! You can see the bottom the entire time. Can someone please explain why customers can't get a full refund and instead get a one-year coupon in the event of your business cancelling? You should know a lot of people vacation here and aren't back until over a year later so we won't ever get our money back. okay so if you're looking to see the fish in the water or anything under you with the clear kayak, this is NOT the place for you. you can't see anything. i'm giving it 2 stars just because of the 'glow' factor. one of the led lights were out in my boat so it only glowed on one side. in my opinion, not worth the money. but if the glow experience is what you're looking for then go for it. read more
