Us riding our boat to go on low paddle
    KarliMae R.

This was an absolute terrible experience and so overpriced. We absolutely hated it when we win. They gave us the biggest side eye. They also said we like booty crack and that we were too fat to fit in the boat like I'm only 600 pounds. Can you stop?? They low-key harassed us?

Would we do it again, no. Was it fun, no. It's basically a plastic boat in 3-5 feet of murky water and zero fish or wildlife. Getting wet was to be expected and the view for a second was nice but our group and the other groups came back in within 20 minutes, why (?) because it really stinks. Maybe mid-day might be better or if the employees were nice and at least acted like they wanted to help it would be better. But for the $$, I would skip. Not even the kiddo thought it was fun. Really wished it was a fun time, just wasn't.

We had such a good time. Was nice you got "free range" essentially and were able to explore at your leisure. Staff was friendly and nice. The only con I would say, make sure you bring towels and wear something that can get wet and may dry easy. We did the 930pm time slot and the insides of the boats where soaked already, which in hindsight our bottoms were as well for the start. It's a fun family activity, we had age 10-44 and it was a great time for all. Even my sister that is a real city slicker and we REALLY had to talk her into it.

My daughter found this place while we were in Destin (this is about an hour drive from Destin). It was the only thing we did on our vacation outside of the beach. Very cool concept! The evening kayaking with the neon lights was super cool! We booked last minute so the only opening available was for 1130 at night... I was not excited about that but we made it work. I think this would've been much cooler around sunset where you get that view and then the night view with the neon lights too :) Things I wish I'd known before booking - you are in a small roped off area so you are not OUT in the ocean - water is only about 2 foot deep in the entire area - apparently there is not much sea life at night, so don't expect to see much - you WILL get wet; our kayak was wet inside when we got in, then water comes in from the paddling (we had never kayaked before); bring extra shorts/pants to change into after - email says to arrive early, so we were rushing as there was an accident on our route, etc... however even if you are late everyone is STILL right there and there is an employee on the shore to help you, you may just miss some of your time

    Girl's night fun!

We tried it out and it didn't disappoint. Even with it being a busy Friday night with music playing at restaurants and busy traffic in background, glow paddling was so peaceful. Highly recommend it! I'll be back!

A fantastic time!!! Water was shallow enough to see the bottom but didn't see any marine life other than small minnows. It was a blast none the less and the bottoms were clean and comfortable!! We had free range of the bay and got plenty of time to explore

Our family of 5 had a great time out on the sound. Perfect way to spend time with the family. Watched the sunset and there was a full moon glistening on the water. The staff is helpful and friendly. Don't worry about having water shoes-you don't need them. Also, your bottom half will get wet so bring towels or change of clothes.

We did this on a whim the first night...got to watch the sunset on the ocean in our glowing kayak. It was literally so much fun and such a great experience that we went back for round 2. It's like snorkeling without getting completely in the water. Although the water was slightly choppy the 2nd night resulting in more paddling than we really wanted to do, it was still an amazing experience and completely different than the sunset time frame. Thank you for the great memories!

We've done the glow paddle twice now and had a fun time both times. We got to see needle nose fish both times. They're adorable.

They are decent, but a bit pricey. It's a cool experience, but you should call ahead for group reservations.

Mary was our tour guide, and she was truly something special. I wish I remembered the captain's name because he was so kind and welcoming too, but Mary completely made the experience unforgettable. She went out of her way to connect with every single group and person on the boat, and especially the kids. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in every little interaction. My son is 3 and usually stays to himself, but Mary picked him up, let him ring the bell, and everyone cheered for him--it was such a special moment that I'll never forget. As a mom, that meant everything* to me. The whole experience was so fun and interactive--we were waving or dancing every time we passed another boat, laughing nonstop, and just genuinely enjoying every second. The vibe from start to finish was so light, happy, and comfortable. The boat itself was super nice & spacious with comfortable seating, plus you could see everything from every angle, which made it easy to catch every encounter! Pro-Tip: come prepared with your best dolphin puns and your "dolphin call" because they WILL put you to the test This was hands down one of the best experiences we've had on Pensacola Beach. We will definitely be back, and I truly can't recommend it enough!!

Our tour ended up being moved to an earlier time the day before. I did receive a couple of different text messages about the start time, which caused a little confusion on my end, but the crew communicated well and kindly waited for us before departing. The address synced perfectly with the gps to the exact departure location. Parking was free and available immediately by the dock area, but notes this will likely not be the case during peak tourist season. The tour itself was lovely. We had beautiful weather, and the crew was attentive and knowledgeable, sharing interesting history and stories about the bay throughout the ride. We saw dolphins and were able to capture plenty of videos and photos. This would be an especially beautiful tour to take in the evening to enjoy the sunset.

One of the days there we decided we wanted to rent bikes to ride. So I checked my trusty Yelp app and called around. Because of the recent Hurricane Sally and the fact that some of the bridges were out, the only place I found that actually had bikes for rent was The Fun Store. So I reserved three for my myself, my girlfriend and my friend. We showed up to The Fun Store. The employees there were all very friendly (everyone we met in Pensacola seemed to be). They set us up with three bikes. When we went outside to get our bikes, it turned out that my bike had a flat rear tire. I was kind of surprised they didn't check this before giving us the bikes but not too big a deal. I told an employee and he took the bike back to replace the tube on the rear tire. I'm not sure why but it took a long time. Usually, an experienced bike person can change out a bike tire in no time at all. Anyhow, eventually we got the bike back and we took off. We rode for a while and saw some of the beautiful sites along Pensacola Beach. We eventually started back to the shop. At about six miles out from The Fun Store, all of a sudden it got much harder to pedal. I initially attributed this to the wind. At about four miles out from The Fun Store my friend informed me that my back tire seemed to be going flat. Sure enough it was. I was able to pedal a little further but, after not too much more time, the tire was completely flat and I was just riding on the rim. I got off the bike and had the pleasure of pushing it several miles back to the shop. When I got to the shop and told them what had happened, they were sorry but never offered any sort of refund, credit or anything else. Let's recap. The tire was flat when I got the bike. They took it for quite a while and supposedly changed the tube. Then about three miles out the back tire went flat again and I had to walk the bike the remaining distance to the shop. Despite that they didn't offer any refund at all. As nice as they were at The Fun Store, I can't give them more than a two star review. It's unfortunate because their employees really were all friendly. I would not use them again unless I really wanted to rent a bike and there were no other options.

Such a gorgeous ride, it was about 19 miles RT from Pensacola Beach. I recommend you bring spf wear and lotion, an spf hat, some trail mix or something to snack on, and definitely some bottled water. We brought the spf wear and the hat, but nothing else and were fools. Oh yeah, and in case you did not know like me, the tops of your hands will burn, so be sure to cover or lotion those as well. Duh! If you need to rent a bike like we did, rent from The Fun Store, easy peasy friendly and affordable. Also, if you plan to make a day of it, bring your beach stuff too, plenty of gorgeous shore to park yourself on. If you have no accessories, The Fun Store has everything you need. Things to know about the fort, there are bathrooms, some water fountains, a ferry in season, bike racks, a fishing pier, a book store. The lady that works the book store does take a lunch, so she may step out mid day for a break. Also, this is the most important tip, the book store does carry sun tan lotion, and had just added a bottled water machine - hallelujah! That was my saving grace and thank you again to the nice lady working the book store that saved me. As for the fort itself, if you like forts, or civil war history, then you will be right at home.

This is not a bad thing, but just the thing we needed. However, we found out we would be having unseasonably nice weather (even for Florida standards) during our time here so we wanted to do something fun. It was the day before Thanksgiving, and most of the SUP places had closed up for the season. Robert was the only one that returned my call. Personable and friendly from the jump, Robert said he could deliver SUP boards to us that morning, and he was coming from Pensacola. Robert asked what type of car we had, our height, and where we were looking to SUP. All of the questions so he could determine what accessories to bring to meet our needs. He offered to drop off the SUP boards anywhere we wanted to meet. But wanting to SUP at multiple areas, Robert hooked us up with a roof rack system so we could bring our boards anywhere we wanted. Robert showed up at our rental that morning with everything we could need to SUP; boards, paddles, life jackets, leashes, and a soft roof rack system. He showed us how to get the rack and boards on our car, and suggested places for us to not only SUP, but to visit for scenery/food. Robert gave us a map outlining historical areas of Pensacola, and must-not-be-missed restaurants, with suggestions of places to go, things to do. For pick-up, all we had to do was leave our boards outside and Robert came and picked them up. We had such a nice time on the boards, they were in great condition, and the roof rack system worked seamlessly. Everything was handled with ease, and Robert was easily reachable by text. I would definitely recommend Robert to anyone looking to SUP. Oh and their boards are dog-friendly!
