I traveled a half an hour to come here. It was marked as 2699 post Road but it really was Chapman Avenue. It should state that cause GPS was very confused by the time I figured out it was 8:55 I pulled in and it was already closed their 9 o'clock time. They obviously didn't stay till nine so I traveled there for no reason wasted my time and my gas. About five minutes after 9 o'clock the kid who was supposed to be managing the business was laying in his car, taking a nap and sat up at five minutes after nine put his car and drive and left so I sat there the whole time in front of the shop five minutes before nine. It should've still been open, but the kid was not there running the business he was in his car taking a nap. He closed up the shop early. read more

I absolutely love everything about this shop! I shop at the store in Providence. The staff is always very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They go out of thier way to be professional and courteous. When I was new to vaping, the employees explained everything I need to know and Darrin has even answered my questions on Facebook. I originally posted a review about sunshine selling fake nautilus coils. Darin- the owner immediately contacted me and offered to help fix the problem. He told me he buys direct from aspire and checked the other coils he sells and they all came back authentic. He did send me a picture with him verifying a code on the website so I do believe what he says. Maybe the code on my box was a fluke- I don't know. But he did offer to give me brand new coils if I came in with the box to show him the code. I've already thrown the box away but I am pleased with the offer and am happy to edit my review. read more

This place is the best they make all of their juices on site they'll even customize it specifically for you whether you want a specific strength, nicotine, flavor etc. I go to this place at least twice a week if not more and every time I go I'm greeted with a smile. Yes there is usually a line but wouldn't you want to go to a place where there's a line almost all the time that means something has to be good about it right? I mean every morning most of us go to Dunkin' Donuts and wait in a line for product that's crap why not wait in a line at a small store for something that can better off your life by switching from a tobacco product over to their juice which by far beats all of their competition if you're thinking about switching from cigarettes to this you should definitely try Sunshine Vapor:) Jake K. read more

I am a nonsmoker now for 60 days. I started off with 24 mg. and now I am comfortably down to 6 mg of nicotine. I want to thank Andrew and Robert from the South Kingstown store for helping me this weekend. I am very happy with the new batteries I purchased. So after using my yocan hive vape on and off for 2 weeks, it won't hold a charge at all and is completely useless. So I take it back to sunshine vapes and the kid behind the counter (the same one who sold me the vape and insisted I take a receipt "just in case something happens" said that "sometimes it happens, we have different ones that are more reliable" and continued to try to sell me a different more expensive vape. I declined and he refused to let me exchange the original vape for an exact replacement with the receipt. Bottom line I personally wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Stay away! read more

This is the 1st local vape shop I visited, so I can't compare it to other shops. I will say the shop was clean and had a lot of different vaping equipment. As this was my 1st visit and new to vaping the staff was very helpful in narrowing down what I was looking for. Even though they were steady busy, the staff worked with me as long as it took and didn't rush me. I had advise from other friends as to what I may want, but it turned out that's not what I wanted. The staff explained all the different set-ups and how they worked and we figured out what would be best for me. They set it up for me and I was ready to vape away. I left with an ELeaf iStick 50w, Kanga Subtank Mini & some of their delicious juice. The staff did a Gr8 job! I would not say their prices are comparable to the internet. My Eleaf at $75 only came with the usb cable no eGo connector or wall adapter or warranity card & the Kanga Subtank Mini was $53. Both pieces are genuine authentic and not knock offs. Online prices for genuine Eleaf are better, same for the Kanga Subtank Mini. But in consideration that they do have overhead & a shop to run, in one of the worst states to do business in, it is what it is. Like I said the staff was great & knowledgeable. I will say that my Subtank is leaking from the bottom glass & has been since I bought it. I have read posts online of others experiencing the same issues. The juice gets on my clothes etc & I'm not happy with that at all. They do have a great selection of juice and a reward program for returning customers. I'm looking at other tanks so I can vape different flavors, but I don't know if I'll return here. read more

I went in a month ago with not much knowledge of "vamping" and was trying to quit my very expensive cigarette habit "2 packs a day" and I can happily say after being set up by Darren with everything I needed I have been without a Cigarette for a month! They have online prices with a brick and mortar experience very convenient hours and the ability to order online 24/7 with the option of getting the items shipped for cheap or same day in store pickup also there wide selection of gourmet E-Juices are great tasting and very affordable. I've been there 3 times, and the place was doing a rush of business every time. If you are new to vaping, it's an awkward transaction anywhere you go the first few times. You don't know what to ask for, don't know the terminology, and the shop can only guess (if they have time and give a ****) where to start you off.... with most things under a glass case. Several of the other shops in the area appeared to be head shops in disguise, located next to tattoo parlors, etc. Nothing wrong "if and when" you're into that, but... I give good reviews very sparingly, but this place deserves them. They are friendly not pushy, and priced well--- they don't kill you when you learn you bought the wrong setup somewhere else. They sold me a new tank for my existing battery for under $10, and it totally transformed the performance. Let's hope the FDA does not kill this industry, and that big tobacco doesn't poison their offerings with all sorts of chemicals. In a week, I've gone from 10-12 cigs per day (over 15 years) to 3-4, decreasing with every passing day. I had almost given up, having tried everything else. read more

Been once, was in a bind while working in the area. Went in and first impression was mediocre at best, not a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Wasn't greeted as I walked in, wasn't assisted in any way with testers. They just pointed to the wall they were on, wasn't even told what flavors they had. Finally found what I wanted and was told they were out so I ended up with another juice line. Oh well. Whole experience just seemed like I was being rushed out the door. read more

I've been vaping for over three years and have been to MANY vape shops and have purchased from TONS of websites. I don't usually leave comments or reviews, but Darin and Sunshine Vape was so awesome, I had to. I first tried to make a purchase on-line, but due to being on deployment on a ship, internet is slow and transaction wasn't going through. So I called them. The girl that initially answered the phone was professional and eager to help and answered questions. When she felt my questions would have been better answered by someone else, she kindly transferred me to Darin, the owner. Darin answered all my many questions regarding the mod I wanted to purchase. He even went through the trouble to dig through his existing inventory (more than once!) to find a solution to my questions. He was even willing to send me pictures to better illustrate and clarify some things I wanted to know - all this when I know he had a store full of customers. He was on the phone with me for around 30 minutes. In short, it was very apparent from the get-go that they both wanted to help me get what I was looking for. They were polite and knowledgeable, honest, extremely helpful, and equally professional. If I lived in RI this is the shop I would be going to for my Vape needs. And another awesome thing was that because I am a service member, he gave me a nice discount. -Darin, things can get rough out here, so I genuinely appreciated your efforts in providing what I needed. Was very happy when I purchased my first vape. It was when I went bk to upgrade bought a uwell ironfist $80 mode plus batteries. Lasted me 2 months brought it back they looked at it agreed it wasn't beat up an must be a faulty unit. I was told they would give me 10% off a new unit. Looked at the manufacturers manual once I got home seen it had a 90 day warranty but there website wouldn't work. So I called sunshine to see if they have another point of contact was told sorry we can't help you. Really nice people terrible customer service when it comes to faulty units. I'm not big into "vaping", I don't do fancy smoke tricks or know what any of the stuff is called when I go in here.. mods and coils ... "drip tips".... like what.... but they don't make me feel like a huge loser so that's cool. Enough time has passed to officially say I've quit smoking. It's been about a month & a half and I have absolutely no interest in a cigarette, unless I'm drinking, but even then, I take a drag and I'm like "damn, that's nasty". The guy with the beard, I think his name starts with a D (if you read this: sorry!) seems to be the owner. He's super helpful and has been working the counter at the store most of the times I've gone in. He helped me pick out my starter kit and helped me choose a better model a few months later when I was ready to upgrade. I absolutely love the vaporizer he sold me. He had me feeling comfortable with everything I needed to do with it before I left the store and I haven't had any issues. He even gave me 15% off because I was having trouble with the initial starter kit. They also have their own brand of juice. All the flavors I've tried are great. I always get the banana but bread. One night I went in looking for something similar to unicorn milk by cut wood and they had me try like 15 different strawberryish juices until I found exactly what I was looking for. They're super friendly and they're totally cool with letting you try whatever juices they have. I told them I was gonna leave them a terrible yelp review for not having 0mg unicorn milk in stock ;) I started at 6mgs nicotine and I've been mixing my 0mg & 3mg for a few weeks to make that transition super easy. I don't plan to take up vaping as a hobby for very long after getting down to 0mgs, so I don't think I'll be a long term customer but I definitely recommend anyone interested in quitting smoking to give this place a visit. It seems like they really want to help you stop smoking, even if you only use the vape for a few month. They explain everything clearly & thoroughly and encourage you to stop in if you have any issues or questions. I've tried soo many different things to quit smoking & this is the only thing that's worked for me. My clothes don't smell like a dirty old ashtray & I don't get winded going up stairs! My husband and I have been going to sunshine since they opened.. in the beginning we got fantastic customer service. i loved this shop sometimes you would catch me in there 2-3 times a day..... but the past week has been really upsetting!!! My husband went in and bought us both brand new Eleaf box batteries and himself a new aspire tank he spent well over $140 bucks...So to make a long story short he has been having nothing but problems with his tank... when he vapes HOT liqued is coming out threw the tip and burning him all in his mouth. This is not normal nor is this his first tank so its not like he is doing something wrong. point of story is they will not even switch it out for him and give him a new tank he is not asking for his money back he just would like a new one...they keep telling him some bullshit story that its the coils and he will need to buy more... then they offer him another tank for 25 bucks like no he just spent all that money on that tank and it is a defective tank. all they need to do is switch the tank out for him and send the defective one back to the manufacturers and get there money back for it. But they wont even consider it!! to me it seems like they are all about the money now and they have lost their customer survice skills and that sucks!! so idk about this shop anymore my husband is really upset and will not go back there again...i think they should reconsider this decision to not take the defective tank back.. i wish they would cause we really enjoyed this store.. read more

It is rare that I dish out a 5 star rating, however this place deserves it. I switched over to vaping from cigarettes on Feb. 14th, within a week and a half all the guys in this shop knew me by first name. I've noticed that they get to know their customers on a names basis which is just part of the great customer service they offer here. They're open to help answer any questions you have since switching over can be a bit overwhelming at first. They also have some great Ejuices. If you are thinking about switching over, pay this shop a visit an talk your options over with them. read more

I used to like them and recommend them, not anymore, bought my second vape setup from them, spent 180$ on the tank, new tips, battery, and the mod, and coils. 4 weeks later the threads in the base are bad. I don't hold on to every single receipt for every purchase in my life, so I am out of luck. I let him keep the defective part and I will go buy a new one at the competition around the corner, and give them all my business. An unhappy customer will tell far more people about their bad experience than a happy one. Thanks any way. read more

Staff was okay, but they push their in house made juice on you pretty hard and honestly it's very bland and harsh. Had an in house made juice from wicked vapes and it was smooth- got sunshines banana nut bread flavor and it's very bland. I changed out my coil and cotton and I could not get rid of the harsh draw. Asked the guy for 12mg concentrate but they said it only came in 6 but he could add more which to me sounded kinda sketchy, he just crossed off 6 on the bottle and marked it 12. read more

I am remarkably frustrated as well as disgusted by this half rate whole in the wall. From the moment you enter a feeling hostility and judgement slap you across the face. They are unwelcoming to even a seasoned customer. As if it wasn't bad enough, I purchased a package of five tank coils and within a day I had gone through all five. Their selection of product is decent, but don't leave the parking lot without testing what you've bought. More time then not I was right back exchanging coils.
