My wife and I came in here for the first time to get info on hemp oils and vape products. We was greeted by David. He provided us with great info. We purchased what he recommended to us and so we thought was a good deal. However, we found the same product down the street at another smoke shop and online for $40 less! This place might be out of the way a bit, but it has a huge selection and a knowledgeable and very helpful staff! I came here looking for a 5-7mm thickness glass beaker-style water pipe with a percolator and in the end I walked away with a beautiful piece at a great value! Driving up, the location was a bit intimidating. The shop is located right off Olneyville Square in Providence in a kind of run down, repurposed brick mill type building. Finding this place was kind of confusing as the signage could definitely be approved. The store entrance is tucked away behind a solid wooden door upon entering the foyer of main entrance, which is underneath a giant neon blue and white sign for the flea market that is also housed in the building. But once you walk in the main entrance, you'll see a sign for "Smoke Shop" on your left and you'll know you've found it. Once opening the door and walking in, you'll be delighted to see a huge selection of pipes, bowls and related "tobacco" items. This place really does have wide and varied collection of smoking pieces and accessories and it the biggest store of its kind that I know of in the area. I came in looking for a nice glass pipe under $200 and the staff was so nice and helpful that I will definitely be coming back here! After initially buying a $125 piece that I found out was damaged when I got home, I immediately called them and they told me to bring the item back for a look. I was a able exchange my item, and the staff kindly apologized and actually upgraded me to a more expensive $150 water pipe with a percolator included(!) for the hassle of having to come back to exchange it! You can tell the people who work here know their craft, as the manager told me he speaks directly to their suppliers to verify quality and origin and unlike other smoke shops they actually want to help their customers find what they are looking for at a reasonable price! This place is great and no, not all of their pieces are cheap and crappy. Like every "smoke shop" in Rhode Island, there is a variety of well-priced and not-so-well-priced items throughout the shop. I have bought multiple pieces from here: a Zong and a really inexpensive ($9) bowl and both have survived many hardwood floor falls! The staff here is great and will answer every question as if they're training an apprentice. Overall, lots of variety, great, friendly, knowledgable staff, and good, sometimes local products! 4 stars because the shop is overstocked, like maaaad overstocked. read more

Great shop, selection of glass is good, some super-sized items. Went looking for bath salts but they are not carried. There is a nice selection of synthetic herbal products which I tried for the first time and totally endorse (which shocks me). Heads up: finding the store can be tricky. It is inside the main flea market building but it is at the door to the side just inside the main door. Strike up a conversation with Bob if you are feeling intelligent and politically chatty. This is a shop I used to go to frequently for their customer service and selection, but will refrain from going after my experience last weekend .... Spent close to $200 on a pipe, bubbler and pieces for an incredible-bowl. The pipe from purchase was already somewhat faulty and the woman gave me $10 off (of $70 - which was over priced to begin with) Within 3 days the pipe completely fell apart and broke. I called and kindly asked for them to honor their faulty product and the guy laughed at me and hung up the phone. On top of that. The bubbler I bought (for $60) broke on the way home wrapped in the bubble wrap. I have been a long standing customer at this store and they will not see my face return for disrespecting me and my loyal business. Not too mention every time I've recently gone in there everyone is stoned off their rocker, unfriendly, and slow. I will not be returning & am not a happy buyer. P.S. they've upped the prices and got rid of a lot of the quality. Don't waste your time - not worth the drive. read more

The past two times I've been there they had a buy one-get one half off sale..I don't know if it's something they always have. Best shop in RI for all of your smoking needs. Purchased a pipe four years ago, it has gone through alot of use and abuse (drops, falls, etc...) and its still kicking. Recently purchased a complete bong wax setup(bong, wax adapter, nail, and torch) and was out the door for under a buck and a half. Great staff, and pricing. read more

Half off glass, and customer service. I have frequented this shop for years, and happily spent a couple grand in this place over that time. I have always felt that this was a great place with a very decent selection of glass for the price point, as well as an owner who stood behind his products, that was until I had an issue with a piece I purchased...On Friday, July 8th 2016 I went into the shop to purchase a new rig, found one that caught my eye, and it was my lucky day this weekend happened to be a half off everything in the store weekend..sick, after chit chatting with Bob for a bit and purchasing my new piece, along with a nail and a few other accessories, I brought my new baby home for some use. Somewhere around the second or third time of using the piece I noticed my nail was not sitting correctly, upon further investigation the joint (piece the nail slides over) had snapped a very clean break not like a jagged break as if it was smashed, clearly an issue with the glass blower/manufacturer. Oh well that sucks I said to myself, and the next day I brought my now defunct piece back to see what was what, and to my surprise upon showing Bob the piece and explaining what happened he simply stated "Well it wasn't broken when you left my shop with it, sorry kid". I was pretty hurt all things considered being a regular face in the shop for quite sometime...So buyer beware the glass pieces aren't the only things that are half off come sales time. read more

Well I found this place threw a recommendation and I have to say I am pleased for the most part. Friendly staff and knowledgeable also a great selection and they have stuff normal places DO NOT carry which is why I ended up there. There was so much in one shop I didn't know what to do with myself so I went in and got what I needed and had to leave before I put myself in more debt. I couldn't tell the quality of the glass pieces due to not letting myself look at them cuz I would of bought ALOT more than I had already. Great prices buy one get one half off or buy two get one free , for what I went there for that was awesome so the up selling worked on me. Lol Now for the cons: it is very hard to find and I did feel like I had to watch my back due to its location I wouldn't go here at night sorry. But overall this place F'ing rocks !!! The 5th star is missing ONLY cuz of location. From one business man to another if you read these that is , put your shop in a nice shopping plaza that's easy to find and advertise and I bet your sales will increase dramatically and I mean like mega dramatically !!! About a month ago some friends and i took a mini road trip to check this place out. They have a huge selection and lots of awesome stuff. the problems began legit 3 days later when the piece i bought for me broke with no warning. we spent $250 dollars there with the promise of coming back with new friends only to have every piece break. this place is a joke. if you plan on keeping a piece for more than a week do not buy their cheap ass stuff. read more

Went to this smoke shop for the first time this week and it's great. Living in MA we no longer have access to herbal incense, well RI has it and has good stuff. Not a huge selection, but all the beautiful glass made up for it. It was packed when I was there, the had a buy 1 get 1 half sale! Such a nice surprise. The staff was great and gave me as much info as they could on what I was buying. I'll be back at least once a week! Love it, everyone should head over and see what they have. A little hard to find, because of the building they are in, but just look for the sign that say "WYH" and your good. I've been a loyal customer at this store for many years. The customer service had always been excellent and the product was just as good. Unfortunately I stopped by recently and the prices had gone up an exorbitant amount. A shop that used to have reasonable prices became an incredibly expensive store. This alone wouldn't stop me from going to the store but the customer service has really gone downhill. In the store itself the customer service remained pleasant, although the store was overwhelmed. It was packed beyond belief and it took me and my friends over an hour to inspect and purchase our product. It took at least twenty minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and when they did we were passed around from staff member to staff member because no one knew much about what we were asking for. The product seems to have decreased seriously in quality while increasing in price. This is something I'd be willing to let slide, but with the large amount of shops out there with more knowledgable staff and more reasonable prices I have no reason to go again. read more
