I had no idea which tint shop did our tint until I got a new car recently with no tint. The prices are affordable, too for the quality of tint and their awesome customer service. The application was flawless and the best feature - NO FADE at all, no bubbles and it's kept the car cooler for the last SEVEN years. On our other vehicle, which was done by some other vendor in North Hollywood, NOT Sun Dimmers, only to see the horribly cut trim, peeling and massive fade. Our limo black tint with that other vendor, ended up brown within two years. With Sun Dimmers, they have quality tint and also provide excellent customer service. Had I known it was Sun Dimners that did our Civic LX, I would've written a review a long time ago! The hubby bought me a 2019 Civic Sport hatchback and I can't wait to bring her in so she can look just a good as the LX! When I called them, I was greeted with a smile and wonderful attitude. The dude on the other end was awesome, knowledgeable, and clear about the process so I can figure out how and when to schedule for my tint job. You can walk-in but there's no way in my schedule to get in right when they open and squeeze the time in. I will make an appointment so I can drop her off in the morning and pick her up later that day or the next day (depends on their schedule) since I live out in Burbank. Since then the tint has held up until recently when I noticed the spread of bubbles in the back window starting to cause issues for me to see out. I came in early around 830 and was able to pickup my car by 430 (turn around time same day). Bad service. I…read moreasked the gentleman to match the back windows as close as possible. As you can see in the pictures, the driver and passenger side do not match the back windows at all. The job was done in our garage and so we thought maybe it looks like this because its inside but its worse outside. When we spoke to the technician, he agreed and said he understood but finished work says otherwise. Not to mention but there is a giant bubble on the front windshield in the passenger side and another one in the top side of the driver side. At this time. I cannot recommend this service provider. I am disappointed and upset over the money wasted. ***update. The manager called me to apologize and rescheduled my appointment for their next available which was a Wednesday before my final exam. I had to do a 3hr round trip drive because I dont live in LA. However, as you can see in the videos the job was so poorly done the first time, I had to get it fixed or get my money back. The manager didn't seem willing to refund. So fine, I spent more money on gas than I needed to. The guy who did the job came back. Took pictures. Apologize and went ahead and attempted to fix it. Super sweet dude wonderful customer service. However, it took a minute and extra help for the material to adhere to the window edges. I had to give it help by adding towels to keep it in place and parking my car under the sun to help. Now, the ceramic is doing its job and it has helped tremendously reduce the temperature inside the car. However 2 trips to LA and long convos with the manager trying to convince me that the job was well done its too much of a hassle. On top of that, tell me why I have their manager texting me on a Saturday evening, as I am actively attempting to celebrate my graduation, pretty much harassing me about my review. Waste of money.
