Has a pool (no swimming though), lazy river, 2 toddler slides and 2 big slides. Fun non-beach place to spend half a day with little kids. All that said, the staff are not well trained. Had a slightly traumatic experience today. My 7 year old got stuck (for 5 to 10 minutes) in the big slide which is pitch dark all the way through (fun but not when you get stuck) and he wasn't helped promptly. Full story - I was up there at the slide entrance and i could hear him screaming that he needs help. There was a staff up there (looked like a teenage kid) who had a walkie talkie. I assumed he would have informed the people in charge as soon as he got stuck. I kept talking to my son to lie down and try to push himself down and he kept responding saying he's trying everything but is still stuck and it is getting very uncomfortable. After a while I checked with the staff whether someone is coming to help. And then I see him telling on the walkie talkie "the boy is stuck on the slide can someone help?". I was shocked. It must have been a good 5 minutes (no watch, just guessing) and he just thought of informing?! By the time someone could come, my son finally managed to push himself down. I told the guy "you should have informed quicker" and his response was "talk to my manager". I thought "ok no use talking to the teenage kid he probably wasn't trained how to react in these situations". I went to the manager and told her "please train your staff to inform quicker" her response "he probably was sitting down, we cannot do anything about this" i go "No he was lying down this time.. first time he was sitting, but this time he was lying" she repeats "he probably was sitting; we don't promise how long it takes to slide; you eventually get down and that's what matters". Is this an empathetic response? I mean i get you have to stick to boiler plate legal language at times, but im not trying to sue anyone here. Im just looking for "i understand that must have felt scary, ill talk to my staff on acting quicker". I felt like I was talking to a robot both with the teenage staff and with the manager. Anyway, my husband intervened and helped the communication and both the manager and the teenage staff eventually apologized and i really appreciated it. Takeaway - If you're not staying in Holiday Inn, NorthShore Aquatic Center might be as fun for a fraction of the cost If you're staying in Holiday Inn, avoid the blue slide or go shirtless (another staff pointed out that might have helped) I see other reviews as well about untrained and disengaged teenage staff. We LOVE this place! Great for families! Recommend going on a weekday when it isn't as crowded. It's small enough that we're not super worried our kids have gone too far while being big enough for them to explore. We have three boys: 8, 6, and 3. There's enough for all three of them to find something they like doing without us parents being dragged far distances. They love the pool area that isn't any deeper than 5ft and has a kitty area for the littles. We usually camp out stuff here so we have a central hub to come back to for towels, water and sunscreen. They have a restaurant nearby that you can order from the bar and they bring it out to you. For theme park food it's reasonably priced and delicious. There's also a pretty large kid slide area where a giant bucket fills and splashes over them while going on the three different sized slides. My older ones love the lazy river that we all go on together in linked inner-tubes, as well as the giant adult inner-tube bowl slide. We spend the entire day there every year for their birthdays. Two years running strong! They love it and so do we! read more

A little disappointing after the hurricane and the fact that they stained a lot of damage and have not made any improvement or repaired a lot of of the damage that was occurred afterwards and that would still look at the damage and the aging of the Park. If you're paying with cash and someone else in your group is using a card, make sure the cash is handed directly to that person - do not give it to the staff. In our case they took our cash and still charged the full admission to my card. When I brought this to their attention, the manager, Holly, was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. They refused to reverse the duplicate charge even though they had already been given cash, and they wouldn't provide a cooperation or dispute number. This is a great Waterpark, and great for kids, but their shady business practice is inexcusable. They charge a discount for Florida residents. It is substantial when coming with a big family. They don't ask up front if your a Florida resident, they just automatically charge full price. When I questioned the girls up front after the fact they said it's my responsibility to tell them. I'm sorry, since when is that responsibility passed on to the consumer? Nowhere on their website does it say that the consumer needs to tell them that. It is a scam point blank. And when we showed our id's after the fact, they were unwilling to make it right. Fail. Terrible customer service. Run by teenagers. They should be ashamed! Hi- we checked in at 3pm for the 3pm to 6pm session since there was a slightly reduced fee and we were running late this day of my grandson's birthday wish to go to the waterpark. Several issues happened - the water was cold; understand that the outside air temp was maybe 67, but the pool water should have been at least 80-82, but it was not. Staying in the water was not comfortable. One of our grand children (12 years old) had started down the slide, and saw someone coming into the same tube. It was just luck that they did not collide and cause a major injury. My grand daughter stood up in the funnel to avoid getting hit. This should have been avoided by the attendant giving more time before telling the second person that it was OK to go too soon after my grand daughter started. Then, we found out that the only two slides in the park closed at 5:30. Had we known we would only have 2.5 hours instead of 3 hours, we would not have gone with the park that day. We reported these issues to the security person (Steve) and the park manager (guy with a whistle), who listened to our issues kindly, but had no offers to resolve since "they were not in charge". It is bad to leave people in charge that are not able to address issues that come up. read more

Cute little water park attached to the Holiday Inn in Indian rocks Beach. Came here for the day with a friend and her two children who are 16 and 12. My little guy is two and a half and there was plenty for all of them to do. The lazy river was very nice. I only got to go in it for a minute before my little guy wanted out but I think it's a great size. I did not feel there was a ton of pool space for adults, but there is a lot for little ones to do. The little slide area was a great size for children 10 and under. It's about $30 a person so great day trip, however if you have older kids who want to ride slides all day I would probably pick a different water park. Saw multiple people get hit very hard from a person being sent down slide before the previous person is off the slide. And the life guard at the bottom of the slide would just laugh every time it happened. Disgusted to even think I came here! Highly unsanitary, clearly the staff does not keep up with the cleaning. There is food and trash on the floor near the pools and everywhere! There are pools of water on the ground that smell like pee, and the water in the pools and slides looks highly contaminated with pee and God know what else. $133 for 2 adults and 2 children on a weekend and couldn't even find 1 chair to sit! It's a decent little waterpark close by, but you have too many staff sitting inside office six of them sitting around not doing anything. Came here in the afternoon back in 2019. I loved all the water slides and the "lazy river." However, there was a storm about to approach and the staff told all of us to get out of the pool half an hour before closing time. The time the place closed was 6PM, but we got out of the pool at around 5:20ish only because of the inclement weather conditions. The storm wasn't heading our direction. It was going the other way. I've never been to this water park before, and the slides are perfect for little ones. It even does NOT do the scary big splash that some big water parks do, so it's very kid friendly. The only issue is that while the other pools at the park are slightly heated, the little kids area is not, so it was little bit cold, but my daughter loved anyway. Had a fun day with all our kids under 12. Not a large place but fun nonetheless. Got there when it opened to secure enough chairs under some shade before the crowds arrived. If you want a cabana, go online to rent in advance - they were sold out the day before:( Lazy River was nice and heated. As an adult, that was the most enjoyable for me. Somewhat disappointing when paying "resort prices" as well as lifeguards not actually paying attention or monitoring kids go down slide. Wouldn't be my first choice. read more

We bought a ticket package and are waiting to get in. The park was supposed to open at 10. There is a line outside, it is 10:50, and we are still waiting. No one from the park has come out to explain the delay. There are a lot of little children out here waiting-many of whom need to go to the bathroom. This is horrible customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone-unless you want to waste time sitting on a sidewalk trying to calm their disappointed kiddos. read more

I have gone to this water park several times and I always enjoyed myself tremendously. Unfortunately today not so much. The lifeguards were not there to take control of the teenagers taking control of the wave pool. There was so many backups because of them. It was not enjoyable whatsoever today. I usually stay from open to close and unfortunately today I got so fed up that I left at 3:00. From the reviews I drove an hour to visit this place to find out it was overly crowded. Then the lady at the cash register charged us for an adult ticket for my 8 year old that was 1 inch taller then 48 inches. I figured oh well they will have fun. Worth it?! Right. Well we Continue to go in and there was so many people we couldn't even find a chair to place our belonging. Mind you we just paid over 100 dollars to come in, plus $20 parking. It's a small park and if it wasn't as crowded maybe I'd have a different opinion but since there really was no limit everyone was pretty much on top of each other. The kids didn't get to ride anything or do much but swim in the pool and go in the lazy river a few times. My daughter had a great time and others in our group said the food/drinks were cheap at the bar but other than that I would not come back. They were definitely not in compliance with occupancy as the place was packed. The manager was wonderful and she helped with the few issues we had but for the price of the tickets and the changing rules at the slides it wasn't worth the price. My daughter and i went down the slides solo & together multiple times when another employee told us she wasnt allowed for whatever reason. Fun place but it is $25 a person including kids which for 2 slides and a splash pad seems steep. What bothered me was the lack of any kind of Covid procedures. No hand sanitizer around the park, no wiping down of common touch areas like rails, tubes or chairs. I get it, it's a pool with chlorine but being a tourist attraction in the time of Covid means you at least need to make the appearance of keeping things sanitized. Luckily we were there and not too busy of a day so didn't creep me out as much. I'm sure other tourist don't notice it especially if they're from states that weren't hit as hard from Covid, but I think the service industry in Florida has a responsibility. Very poorly run. First visit was on a busy Saturday and there were only 3 life guards on duty. Someone made the executive decision to not have one at all in the splash pad, where the youngest children slide and play. There were teenage kids constantly walking up the slide, so the young kids couldn't go down at all. Very frustrating because there are multiple slides for older kids and adults, but only these for small children. No one was monitoring it at all and someone could have easily been hurt. My daughter did have a good time, so we went back another day. We were told to come back in an hour because there was a delay in opening the splash pad. We came back in an hour, just to be told it now wouldn't open for another hour and a half. These things happen, but it was more the attitude of the employees. No apology for any inconvenience or alternative rates, etc. Just a too bad, pay full price or don't come in. To me, that once again comes back to poor management. read more

The price of admission to the water park is $26.95 for adults and $23.95 for kids for the entire day if you're not staying at the Holiday Inn. If you're a guest of the Holiday Inn, tickets are $10 off, $16.95 for adults and $13.95 kids. It's a little bit expensive for 2 adult slides and 2 splash pad kids slides, a lazy river, and a heated pool but it's nice if you want to do something different while on vacation. Unfortunately, unlike the Disney water parks, no outside beverages or food is allowed. Unfortunately, If there is any thunder or lightning the park gets shut down and there are no rain checks given. If you're only here for an hour or two and there's thunder, it can be a little expensive. The waterpark is a little small for what you get but the 2 big slides are fun and you can ride them over and over again with little to no lines. If you want to go to a real waterpark, try Busch Garden's Adventure Island, 50 minutes away in North Tampa!
