We were led to the back by a very…read morenice woman only to face the most arrogant, dismissive and unfriendly salesman's we have ever met. (Doug) He did not introduce himself, nor did he say hello. I'm not sure he even looked up to acknowledge us. In showing us the jet skis, he proceeded to abruptly rush ahead of us, letting the door shut in our faces. The entire experience was a nightmare. We returned a few hours later, hoping we had just caught him on a bad day. Not only had he not remembered meeting with us, he refused to answer our questions in regards to certain aspects of the jet skis; ultimately creating a more uncomfortable environment. Unfortunately, we will never go into Irwin's again.

This year the place has changed drastically. I was warned by a friend and boy was he right. When I arrived at the place I was told that Ernie Jr. and Heather had retired(I think not).Last fall when dropped off my boat Heather calculated my bill and I paid it in full as I did every year. This year when I returned I was told I had a $100. balance. I then noticed they had raised the shrink wrap price $100. After a brief dispute with Ernie Sr. who has a miserable personality and obviously doesn't want to be there I decided it wasn't worth the aggravation and going forward I would bring my business elsewhere. When I took the shrink wrap off the boat , which they had put in my yard for the winter, to clean it I found a large hole in the roof.I called Ernie Sr. and told him and he said it must have happened in my yard. He sent a employee down and I showed him. He said he did most of the work on the boat and he didn't know how it happened but he would tell Ernie Sr. I told him that I didn't expect a new roof and we agreed a patch should be a pretty easy fix. I even gave him the old shrink wrap which had no holes in it to show there were no holes in it About a half hour later I got a phone call from Ernie Sr. saying they found a hole in the shrink wrap and it must have happened in my yard . I told him when the shrink wrap left my yard there was no holes in it. He asked me if I was accusing him of putting a hole in the shrink wrap. I told him maybe not him but someone at Gillan. He started yelling at me and I told him he would not see me again and he said that was a good thing. I have heard that the place is up for sale and that is a good thing because with his attitude the place will never last. It's really too bad because when his son was running the place it was a good place to do business.

Ogunquit can get crowded, traffic is ridiculous and while there are sidewalks along route 1, it's not always ideal when you have little ones. The beach cabbie was a perfect choice and the kids loved it! Each seat has seatbelts. Great choice for getting around the town!

There is always something positive in this store just because of their motto! Life IS Good and…read moredon't forget that. I love the variety of designs they have now -not just the one that started this brand. There was actually overload in this store and there are some other brands here as well. I know that I could have found something but nothing really caught my eye! I want to be wowed when I look at something or think that it will make a great difference in my life! Marshalls in Newburyport has LIG T-Shirts, water bottles, coolers, umbrellas, towels etc. They have almost everything the LIG Retail store has for much much less. Overall the store is cluttered with dated and overpriced styles even the kids don't think is "hip" anymore. Sad, but even this has come to an end...

Staff was super friendly and they were helping an inexperienced customer next to us become confident enough to try this fun sport. I think they gave her some free ground school before launching them, which is A+++. $25pp/hour was a reasonable rate, and they didn't mind we went a little over our hour. Staff carried boards to town dock for us to launch. Only thing that would have earned 5 stars (and a tip to the staff) would have been seeing us on our return trip and helping us transport the boards back the shop (it's right across the street though). With a 13 year old niece I could manage carrying both, but if one or both of the young helpers were around it would have been a quick $10 tip IMO. All in all, great small business and it's the 2nd summer I have rented from them. If I haven't bit the bullet and bought some boards by next summer I will be renting from them again! P.S. They are selling off their rentals right now for around $650 a board... great time to pick up a lightly used SUP!

Went into a marshy area off the bay and saw a blue heron, geese, beautiful lily pads. They also helped me get out of the kayak when I came back. I wanted to tip and he refused. Definite recommend!
