You can rent out the whole place or one of the many gorgeous room. Secured locked doors with a code that only guests know ensures safety is first. On the second floor there are a variety of 5 rooms to choose from. Some have an en suite bathroom and kitchen. One room has a bathroom adjacent in the hall and leads to a kitchen area and living space. Full kitchen comes with anything you need including utensils, cutlery, and even those condiments you forgot! There is also a balcony with tables chairs and grill. If you get the penthouse on the third floor you won't be disappointed! Huge full kitchen with amenities like the second floor Kitchen. Huge living area with comfy couches and large dining table. 2 bed rooms can sleep 4. The huge balcony with tables and chairs provides an amazing view of the Clark bridge and Mississippi River. This place is within walking distance of many great Alton eateries and shops. Also only a 16 minute drive to Grafton or Edwardsville for for entertainment. One drawback is the parking. No dedicated lot so it's only street parking. There are dedicated spaces out front and side parking is available too. We cannot wait to come back and utilize this space again! *Wasn't able to picture of all the rooms just mine*

Owner still charged me for one night. Nothing close to what you see online. Staircase is super steep, doors do not have secure locks and windows in old doors. Shag carpet and furniture at least 30 years old. Creepy. Disappointed as he knew I was traveling in from California, arriving after dark. I told him I was visiting my handicapped daughter who stairs would not be safe for. Mike told me it was beautiful loft called the love Joy. Nothing beautiful here.

The beds were very uncomfortable, most of the plugs did not function between the beds, the A/C and heat was very loud in both rooms, and no one ever came to our room to refresh anything. We had to ask someone to come and bring fresh towels, toilet paper, more soap, and empty the trash. I understand that this is post-Covid and that workers are hard to find but no one should stay in a hotel room designed for a weekend and not have anyone ever come by for at least a refresh of the room. I think my favorite part was every day we would come down about nine for breakfast, and there would be hardly anything hot left to eat until just before 10 when the kitchen was closing. Now you ask yourself, why would they bring out new fresh food at closing time, right? That's easy, the food was for the employees to come in and eat breakfast after the kitchen closed. So the point is that they would rather save the fresh food for the employees instead of bringing it out for the people who are paying to stay at the hotel. Also, the breakfast area and tables were very dirty with food and just general mess. The only day this did not happen and everything was the way it should be was on Saturday, December 31, 2022, whoever that employee was working, the kitchen did a dramatically better job with the kitchen and keeping the tables clean. I'm not overreacting, it was ridiculous and this comes from many years working on the road staying in hundreds of different hotels all over the country.

My room was very clean. Nice shower! It is rare for me to praise a shower. But this one was very nice. White (glass?) walls. Very clean. Sliding glass door. Walk in shower. Towels smelled burnt. I think they are dried in a very hot dryer and it gives them that burned smell. The inside of the elevator needs a good wiping down. I thought it would be cleaned in the morning, but it wasn't. The maid staff and the check-in staff were all very friendly. The pool is nice. We enjoyed our visit in the pool. As I said, the train is loud. Also, the walls are quite thin. I could hear someone else's phone call on speaker phone through the walls. Once I turned on the fan to run full time, it was fine though. I didn't hear anything and I could sleep quite well then. Also, there was a very nice pillow selection and the bedding was comfortable.

Called front desk manager CHRISTINA who was a total idiot! She was not only stupid but extremely rude. We booked a double queen room which they didn't have and couldn't explain why they didn't have it and offered a totally different room that wouldn't even accommodate my family. CHRISTINA proceeded to berate me as if that was my fault and blame everyone except herself for the mistakes. She even threatened to call the police when I told her it was HER job to have an accurate listing of rooms online. LAZY, RUDE, CRAZY! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

It is a great little hotel, friendly wait staff, fresh modern rooms and the breakfast was pretty decent. Plus free Wi-Fi and a pool that is coming soon. I loved everything but the pillows. I sent a message to hotel management to see about a 12-1pm check in if possible. They responded with an approval email for a 12-1pm check in but when I arrived the lady at the counter said 1). I can't check in before 4p because the system won't allow her to do it, plus the rooms were being cleaned but she will call me when the room is ready. 2). Around 1:40p and said the room was ready but when I tried to check in she said her system was down and that I'll have to fill out the paperwork. Fine. I gave her my ID and she says because I'm from Missouri I have to pay an additional $200 fee and it can only be cash. Now I'm on I've league scholar but I know when I'm being played because as soon as I walked out, a $253 transaction was attempted on my account from Best Western Plus. Now how is that possible if the systems were down as she said prior. Never going back to that hotel.

I can not BELIEVE what a buffet we have had!!! My daughter's room is on the 3rd floor and it is equally nice. The breakfast buffet in the morning is, quite possibly, the BEST and nicest we have seen at a hotel in a LONG time. I can't imagine what else they could do to make it more appealing! The halls are quiet and calm, you can't hear any noise from rooms on either floor. The pool is indoors, and it is clean, doesn't burn your eyes whatsoever, and it doesn't take you out from chemicals when you walk in. The gym is really nice, and I loved having a spot to relax that was just for me. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. If you are traveling and need a nice, calm, yet fun (pooll and gym) place to stay, I say this is your place! You might…read morepass this place up when you first get off the highway but there is a second Road and it is absolutely bumpy just to enter if you missed the first exit. There was plentiful parking as well since there wasn't a lot of people here. Checking it was an easy process and they had items and their food pantry but their selection was very minimal and Bare Bones and if there was something that you liked it was absolutely expensive. The hotel looks like it went under a remodel recently and it looks great in the lobby and in the hallways but once you're in the room it might be a different story. The shower was poorly put together with a sliding doors one of the doors was stuck the entire time in the shower all the other one nearly fell off the track. It felt like they rushed the remodel. Beds and amenities here are pretty nice. I realize that there was a loud breathing sound and I was trying to figure out where it was coming from. At first it sounds like Darth Vader was around the corner but actually this room has a very loud mini fridge. I had a nice nap so I decided to go downstairs to have some breakfast . It looks like the person that was supposed to make breakfast didn't show up so breakfast was being rushed 30 minutes late . They had some of my favorite selection like the red skin potatoes but the sausage that was made was terrible! Nearly the entire batch was burnt and unedible. Overall, it was not my best stay here.

The hotel's location is a little odd, since you have to take a side road to get in, but the surrounding area felt safe. Check-in was fine, but the wheels on antique looking luggage trolleys didn't work. When we got to our room around 8 pm,, I checked to make sure the shower products were filled, since they often aren't. Sure enough, the shampoo and hair conditioner were there, but also a bottle of body lotion placed inside the shower instead of shower gel which I'm guessing was an honest mistake. The bathroom floor was sticky--not sure if it was from cleaning products or something else, but it definitely didn't feel clean. There was also some musky smell; maybe the room was just dated and old. The TV worked, but the Netflix button on the remote didn't, and it seemed like there were no streaming options, which was disappointing since most Hamptons we've stayed at have already been upgraded with those features. Breakfast was the typical Hampton Inn setup--decent but nothing memorable. Overall, it was an okay stay. The location and staff were fine, but housekeeping really needs to pay attention. Cleanliness is such a big part of a good hotel experience, and that's where this property fell short.
