Hoping for no issues but a little wary after reading the other reviews. The cats are desperate for a stop so David is inside checking us all in. It's taking so long that I'm starting to worry. The lot is full so I'm nervous about safety. I just called him and he says he's getting the key. At check in: the clerk told David that there has never been a single car break in the whole decade plus that he has worked here. It's clothes and papers in the roof top cargo bag, so it would be a headache if it was torn open. The room is pretty standard... but it is clean and the bed is fine. 104 out the door with both cats. I'll take it. Decor is dated but not unpleasant. I was relieved to see that other than the carpet and the scratchy coverlet it was pretty much the same as the last super 8. Desk clerk is pretty much trying to be helpful. The vending machine malfunctioned. "It does that sometimes." They gave us a Costco water in compensation. The ice machine works. The door lock doesn't turn but there is a chain. Non-stop talking outside... but... Sleepity. Night night.

Inexpensive spot for travelers, just off I-15 in Cedar City, Utah. Complimentary breakfast, but it's ALL carbs, bread, cereals, waffles, juice, etc. The only non-carb item was coffee, but hey it's comp. Rooms are clean, front desk was friendly and helpful and offered a few dining suggestions for the area. Microwave, refrigerator, in-room coffee maker satellite TV, desk, hot shower, this was exactly what I was looking for and I found it Only reason 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because it's budget digs, and not anything fancy. Moderately comfortable, clean and convenient, right off the I-15 and perfect for those watching their expenses

After reading some reviews, I was a little hesitant about lodging at this motel. However, my experience was good. Check in at the front counter was easy, the facility was clean and quiet. Also, no issues with parking or safety. In addition, the location is ideal for easy freeway access. I have no complaints and didn't experience any bed bugs. Thank you

1 star jus because I have to tap on it to post a review. BUT IN REALITY ITS ZERO STAR... upon check in everything went well at the front desk. Husband and wife working as a team.Get to room and there's a stink smell. Opened window and blasted the AC to try and air out the room.Checked for bed bugs and markings (I usually do) on beds and floors. Didn't find any but there was lil trash here and there in the floor. Clorox wiped remote, dresser top, phone, light switch and handles. Room was too dusty on lamp shades, back board and the table the phone sits on and i didn't clean it cause than the maid really wouldn't have nothing to clean. Actually it looks like it hasn't been cleaned for months-that's how thick of dust that was on it.took the old stink covering they had on the bed and put it on the old chair they have in the room. what irked me more was the bedding looked like it's been used and rolled on 10x. It wasn't even tucked right like the maid did her job. Lamp was broken off the wall and metal panel was broken off and sticking out on the bottom of the bathroom frame. Stubbed my big toe cut it open making it bleed continuously boy I was frickin pissed. Went to the front desk and asked the young chic for another room which she said I should've asked earlier. I asked for the maid to change the bedding and vacuum the room and she said they left I than asked to use the vacuum to do the maids job and vacuum the room myself and she said the maid room was locked which I know is BS. I than asked for clean sheets and took her to the room to show her and she knew that room was dirty. I also showed her the damaged items and she said she'll let the maid know-what does the maid know about maintenance she don't even know how to clean. I'm sure they know who I am and yea be careful there was a post that all kids stay on the 1st floor. I was on the 1st floor but my kid is 17 so I'm not sure why they didn't put us upstairs. Breakfast was ok but the make it yourself waffles didn't taste right. Close to freeway, SUU and eating places.

It's not easy finding hospitality for furry family members, but this place rocks! Rooms are modern, homey and clean. They even have a grassed-in fenced dog park with a place to sit, and a bin to drop the do-dos lol. It's a small area but clean- our dogs loved it! Front desk was cheerful and happy to see us.

We booked here thinking "Plus" meant a little extra something. Turns out the "plus" might just mean "plus walking a few more steps to breakfast." The room itself? Totally fine. Clean, standard Best Western experience. No issues there. But the complimentary breakfast... yikes. We've stayed at plenty of Best Westerns and similar places across the country, and this one easily lands near the bottom of the list. The food was bland, barely warm, and the "options" felt like they were just going through the motions. We were there for three days -- by day three, I seriously considered just eating the plastic cutlery instead. Front desk staff? They weren't rude, but let's just say they met the minimum requirements of employment. If there was an Olympic event for "professional neutrality," these folks would medal. Also worth noting: there's a little decorative bell in the courtyard -- which small children somehow sense from miles away. If you're planning on an afternoon nap, forget it. That bell gets rung like it's the final round of a prize fight. Repeatedly. With joy. By children. Every. Single. Day. All in all, not the worst stay ever -- but not sure I'd rush back without checking a few other options first. If the "Plus" meant anything, I must've slept through it... right around the time the kids rang the bell for the 87th time.

The new flooring, walls, furniture, and restroom fixtures. One thing I do recommend is that they add better ventilation fans in the restrooms that suck the air out quicker and more efficiently. The beds were comfortable and offered very nice bedding. Although I did not need the use of the AC, it did work very well. A big plus about staying at this hotel is the breakfast they offer for free throughout your stay during the morning hours. I hit it up every morning, regardless if I was intending to have breakfast later that day. The breakfast includes biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon strips, sausage links, make your own waffle machine, breakfast potatoes, cereals, oatmeal, and much more, not to mention coffee and teas. There's inside and outside seating available. The hotel offers an inside pool, it's a non-smoking facility, offers a laundry facility, and an exercise room. The renovations will include a new lobby and restaurant and bar. I would stay here again, not only because the prices were very fair and it was a good stay.

Bathrooms are typical with the Bonvoy special shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in gymlike dispensers. They have a decent gym downstairs equipped with treadmills and ellipticals. Dumbbells are available for weightlifting. The gym was clean and had plenty of wipes and towels. Breakfast is served downstairs. No free breakfast at this Courtyard even for elite members like me. Parking lot had some construction on one side while we visited. Not a huge deal, jist went around the other side. It might be beneficial to have a separate area for RV parking, as having RVs parked directly behind passenger vehicles made maneuvering around them a little difficult. How heart-warming is that!? I immediately wanted to meet each of the pooches and have a cuddle-puddle in the lobby, but I refrained. The hotel itself is fine-the room was incredibly spacious with a double shower that's just begging for some group adult parties. I'm sure this setup is perfect for such shenanigans, but I can't confirm that since it was just me and the wife. But anyway, yeah, that's a balling shower. I also appreciate the higher quality shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. Dove is a step above the typical hotel stuff, for sure! Breakfast is rather nice-a full selection of hot items, cereal, fruit and an assortment of juices and coffee. Everything stayed stocked and neat thanks to the attentive breakfast staff. My one complaint about this hotel is the noise. We heard every conversation out in the hall-and I don't think anyone was speaking at unreasonably loud levels. The sounds of footsteps above us made me think that there were large animals running around-but I bet there were not. A little better insulation or other sound-reducing measures could really make a difference. Especially if you have a party in that shower.

We arrived at 2:45pm, check-in is listed at 3:00pm. As I approached the front desk, I was not greeted. No name tags on any employee. One women was on the computer and never looked up. The other women who was messing with keycard folders, finally acknowledged that her lobby was full. I said checking in, she nervously said they had no rooms cleaned and the other women stood up, very pissed off. Looked at her co-worker, as if we weren't standing there and said in a very nasty voice, "they will have to wait until 3 for check in. We have no clean rooms." To which I replied, "I have worked in the hotel industry, there is no way, there isn't a room available, 10 minutes before check in time. You aren't going to turn over 200 rooms in the next 10 minutes, have you not been cleaning them all morning?" She completely waived me off and said, "3:00pm is check in." So at 2:58pm magically they had a room for us to check into. There were pubic hairs all over the bathroom sink and the bath tub. Gross. I let the water take them down the drain. A bag of garbage sat at the top of the stairs for an entire day, not even closed up. Literally in the path of the stairs, fire hazard. My husband reminded the front desk that it was up there at 7pm still. She sighed and said she would get to it. There is NO hot water, no matter what time of day or night you shower. Luke warm at best. Day four and the stairs have not been vacuumed once, since being here. At breakfast, I was pushed to the side by a breakfast attendant twice, so she could grab her rags, as I was reaching for items. We needed a roll away bed for our last night here and requested the bed on day 2 of our stay and we were told that they don't reserve beds, they are first come, first serve. I was instructed to come down first thing in the morning the day I needed the bed. 730am I went down to the front desk to do so. While I waited my turn, I listened to another guest conplain about her stay and watched her show pictures of all the bugs in her room and the hotel tub. The front desk attendant said and I quote, "You didn't have to stay here, you could have checked out immediately and been given a full refund." The hotel guest then said, "There were no other rooms." To which she got a reply, "Look, I wasn't here last night, so I don't know what happened." And she kept looking down at her computer screen, while the customer continued to tell her about her experience. She couldnt even give her the respect of eye contact while speaking to her and acknowledging her frustrations. Basically taking no accountability for the company she works for. I step up to the desk to request my roll away to which I am told, "We have none that have been turned in, come back at 3pm, when it is check in." Seems like there are no processes in place to know when beds are turned in. My husband check again, upon our return from lunch and shopping and he was told they dont have any beds yet and check back later tonight. She put our room on a list of requested rooms that needed a rollaway. I grabbed my book and sat in the chairs on the second floor and waited for house keeping to be done cleaning the rooms. It was about 230pm. I asked him. "Hey, do you happen to have any rollaway beds in that storage closet? We have been waiting all day to have one delivered." He opened up the storage closet and sure enough there were two rollaway beds just sitting in there. Ridiculous that the front desk either doesnt know they are available or too lazy to check the closet. I guarantee they will never call us or bring a roll away to our room today. The 3pm shift arrived for work and I proceed to hear about how pissed off the front desk clerk was having to listen to everyone complain about the rooms. And the lady that showed up to work, asically agreed. The male bousekeeper who works on the second floor asked a housekeeping lead if she had checked out his rooms, so he could put his cart away and go home. She said, just go, no need. The male housekeeper was trying to follow protocal. I am disgusted by the attitude of every single person that works in this hotel, except for the male house keeper that works the 2nd floor. I am now sitting in the room itching everywhere; the thought of bugs in this place eww. I have personally not seen one in my room, but if there are bugs in one room, there are bugs in all the rooms. Eeek. I needed a new room key. As I had lost my key. The front desk made me new room keys, asked for my name, but never my photo ID to prove who I was. So basically anyone has access to your room, if they know your room number and your name. That is such a security/safety breach!!!! Never ever would that be acceptable at another hotel. I called and left a message for Corporate to call me back and not one word from them.
