    Moldy tub
    Hector B.

Ugh. Let's start with the best part. The beds aren't horrible. They are OK. The rooms are dirty, and there isn't service without asking for it. My feet were black from walking around within minutes... BLACK!!! The walls need painting. The bathroom is gross from mold to water damage.

    Missing closet door
    Lauren V.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The pictures really speak for themselves but our room was gross and pretty decrepit. I know they are doing some remodeling, but maybe they should focus on one block of rooms at a time. My husband and I stayed in room 101 and the room was damn near falling apart. Cons: There were random picture hanging things all over in the living room and bathroom. No closet door just hinges. Spiderweb over the bed. White stain on the couch. Some sort of grossness on the dresser. The bathroom smelled like old pee. Toilet didn't flush. Weird sound all night like water in pipes or someone using a tile saw. Kicked in place on the door. No where to put our luggage. Pros: honestly the bed was comfortable. Sheets looked clean. Bathtub/shower was clean. Front desk was friendly. Breakfast was good.

Hope you don't need a good shower, head just spins and terrible drippage down the wall out of the tub

If you need a place just to crash out after a long day out on the road, you probably won't mind the lower quality style, but when you are paying 130 bucks a night you at least would like a good morning shower. The staff was pleasant which is a plus, there is coffee and tea all the time so overall not a deal killer if you're looking towards the lower end budget line for longer trips... give them a try and form your own opinions.

    Ear plugs and face mask

Very run down, beds are old and partially uncomfortable depending on the room. Also bring earplugs and face-mask. Light comes in facing certain directions and the walls are thin and everything vibrates through. Employees are very rude and appear to be under the influence. Carpets are stained in the hallway and rooms and the ac and heater units barely work and are loud. This place is so run down and not well maintained. The breakfast is nothing special but it works.Towels blocking the door to keep hot air in because it was so cold and the heater barely worked I brought an air purifier to block sound and because I know better and small heater.

Need help - ring the bell and someone will get to you eventually

(why have corporate office then?) Just now, I was able to reach Gulliana M. at Best Western Plus, Cedar City and her Corporate via phone at each office to explain I have written correspondence from Expedia that they would not charge for a second day so she could waive a second day room charge. I could not stay a second day due to an emergency (death in family). She said they will not honor that letter. She was short, sassy, no compassion whatsoever and hung up on me. DO NOT STAY THERE. Plenty of places to stay in Beautiful Cedar City. I don't recommend giving someone business who is not nice, ever! Poor Management. Poor attitude. Rude. Whatever her reply to this is, I am the customer, and I received very poor customer service. Gulliana M. told me at checkout I would not be charged for the second day. I am out $155.57 due to her lack of professionalism since she did charge me. In my opinion, GULLIANA M. does not deserve a job working directly with the public.

The new flooring, walls, furniture, and restroom fixtures. One thing I do recommend is that they add better ventilation fans in the restrooms that suck the air out quicker and more efficiently. The beds were comfortable and offered very nice bedding. Although I did not need the use of the AC, it did work very well. A big plus about staying at this hotel is the breakfast they offer for free throughout your stay during the morning hours. I hit it up every morning, regardless if I was intending to have breakfast later that day. The breakfast includes biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon strips, sausage links, make your own waffle machine, breakfast potatoes, cereals, oatmeal, and much more, not to mention coffee and teas. There's inside and outside seating available. The hotel offers an inside pool, it's a non-smoking facility, offers a laundry facility, and an exercise room. The renovations will include a new lobby and restaurant and bar. I would stay here again, not only because the prices were very fair and it was a good stay.

Bathrooms are typical with the Bonvoy special shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in gymlike dispensers. They have a decent gym downstairs equipped with treadmills and ellipticals. Dumbbells are available for weightlifting. The gym was clean and had plenty of wipes and towels. Breakfast is served downstairs. No free breakfast at this Courtyard even for elite members like me. How heart-warming is that!? I immediately wanted to meet each of the pooches and have a cuddle-puddle in the lobby, but I refrained. I'm sure this setup is perfect for such shenanigans, but I can't confirm that since it was just me and the wife. But anyway, yeah, that's a balling shower. I also appreciate the higher quality shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. Dove is a step above the typical hotel stuff, for sure! Breakfast is rather nice-a full selection of hot items, cereal, fruit and an assortment of juices and coffee. Everything stayed stocked and neat thanks to the attentive breakfast staff. My one complaint about this hotel is the noise. We heard every conversation out in the hall-and I don't think anyone was speaking at unreasonably loud levels. Each room has a "theme" that is over decorated. We had to move objects and furniture to have space to move around. We were nervous about breaking things. So dusty!! Many of us got sick. Their breakfast usually included fresh fruit, a cooked egg item (quiche or casserole), sausage or bacon, juices, toast, sweet roll or bread, etc. Inside they have one large, one medium, and one small table. There are several tables outside on the front porch. Our room had garbage baskets emptied and towels replaced almost every day. The owners are around only until 5:00. The basement level has four private bedrooms/bathrooms with a common area (kitchen/table/couches) and easy access to the parking lot. The middle level requires steep stairs to three or four private bedrooms/bathrooms and a galley kitchen.
