I stayed at Fox Mountain Inn as the final overnight stop on a motorcycle trip and had a very…read morepleasant stay overall. One of the biggest advantages for riders is being able to park directly outside your room, making it easy to unload gear and keep an eye on the bike. The husband-and-wife owners were welcoming and easy to talk with, and as fellow motorcyclists they clearly understand the needs of travelers on two wheels. Check-in was simple and quick. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed provided a good night's sleep, the air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. I also appreciated having a refrigerator in the room to keep drinks and water cold after a long day of riding. The property felt well maintained and had the kind of personal touch that is becoming harder to find. The owners also provide homemade cinnamon rolls for guests in the morning. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try one because of a food allergy, but both owners encouraged me to have one, and several other reviews mention them as a highlight of the stay. As a motorcyclist, I appreciated the rider-friendly touches throughout the property. The owners provided some welcome gifts, including stickers, a keychain, and a motorcycle cleaning rag. Those small gestures weren't expected but were genuinely appreciated. They do a nightly fire pit but unfortunately I was too tired from a full day of riding to participate. I appreciate the effort to create opportunities for guests to relax & socialize. I also enjoyed talking with the owners about motorcycles and local riding. They even warned me about a bear that occasionally visits the property, which certainly added some local character to the stay. My only real criticisms are minor. The television was smaller than I would have preferred (NBA playoffs were on), and while the room included seating, I found the chairs somewhat uncomfortable for relaxing after a long day of riding. Seemed more like decorations than functional. A more comfortable chair would have made the room even better after a long day of riding. One thing prospective guests should keep in mind is that dining options are limited within walking distance. If you arrive hungry and don't want to get back on the road, plan ahead. Delivery options were available but carried significant delivery fees. Overall, Fox Mountain Inn was a comfortable, clean, rider-friendly place to stay with welcoming owners and a personal touch that is hard to find. I would gladly return if traveling through the area again. A good place to stay.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, just like other reviews have said. The shower was terrific... I appreciate when there's a shower wand and not too much water softener. Little touches like extra soap and plush towels were a nice bonus. We even appreciated the smart TV which more motels and hotels should be doing these days. We truly enjoyed our stay and bookmarked it on our map so we're sure to come again when traveling through. Thanks so much Fox Mountain Inn!

There are fresh cookies and coffee/water for hot chocolate or tea as you look toward the dining area as well. Everything was very clean, looked nice, and the beds were firm but comfortable. Within 10-15 minutes of checking in, the staff even reached out over text message to make sure that our room was ok and see if we needed anything. We did request an extra blanket and it was brought to our room promptly. Location wise, this hotel is close to the highway (but we didn't hear it from our room). The pool was a little chilly at first, but once you got used to the temperature it was great. The hot tub was also very welcoming though I had problems figuring out how to turn on the jets as nothing was clearly marked (there are timer buttons and not something that you have to turn to start, just look by the red button). Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, and an assortment of both breads and drinks. Though the eggs were still a little slimy, everything still tasted good and the staff was very friendly. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again. They have a little convenience shop to the left of the desk filled with snacks and, luckily, floaties for the pool. The front desk ladies were polite and friendly! We stayed here twice, in the same room actually. It had 2 queen beds, a pull out couch, mini fridge, desk area, and a decently sized bathroom. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 2 children and we had more than enough room. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, all in refillable pump bottles. The sink also had hand wash and body lotion. The pool area was kept clean and the staff said we could eat in there at the tables if we wanted. It wasn't a huge area, but there were at least 2 tables and several options for seating. The pool only went to 5 feet and had decent stairs for my toddler in the shallow end. There was also a small gym, complete with some dumbbells, an adjustable bench, treadmill, elliptical, and star stepper, plus a yoga mat and exercise ball. There was a small cabinet which held towels, wipes, and a water dispenser/cups. The only bummer was I saw the same dead moth under the elliptical both stays (2 weeks apart), so I know the gym hadn't been cleaned. Breakfast was decent-- it was the same both both times we had it. They have 3 cereal options, some yogurt and oatmeal, fresh fruit (apples, oranges, and bananas), two types of eggs, sausage, bacon, toast (even a GF bread), bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and a pancake maker. There was also coffee and tea. Everything was served until 9:30. There is always water with fresh fruit out. We ate at two nearby restaurants-- Fat Boy's Pizza and Cinco de Mayo Mexican and both were great! There is also a restaurant list inside the lobby. I felt safe staying here and had no issues in the parking lot. There were only a few other guests during both of our stays. This was a good spot to stay during our travels and I will definitely consider coming back!

We were impressed with all the complimentary snack offerings upon arrival. The beds were standard, comfy, and clean. We had a nice little mountain view and it was a cute area. The tub in the shower didn't have a drain plug and looked like it needed to be painted badly, and the water pressure was very weak, that was the only downside, but not a huge deal for an overnight. We'd definitely stay here again when in Princeton.

This trip was no different--after a seven-hour road trip, the four of us (plus my service dog) rolled in, dreaming of a quick swim and some relaxation. Spoiler alert: that dream died fast. We used the Hilton app to check in, but I went down to the desk for a second key so my husband and I could both access the room and amenities. I gave my room number, and--without asking for my name, ID, or even confirming I belonged there--the employee just handed me a key and said, "Have a good night." I'm sorry, WHAT? That's not customer service, that's a security disaster waiting to happen. We stayed in room 504, where we were greeted by a musty, dirty odor strong enough to knock you backward. The room looked like it hadn't seen a dust cloth in years. The bathtub? Absolutely disgusting. Several light bulbs were out. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable, the whole place felt like a tropical rainforest with the humidity, and the Wi-Fi (which I need for my work as a REALTOR®) didn't connect at all. To top it off, the shower had no hot water, and by morning, I'd developed a sore throat. The pool was supposed to be our redemption moment. Instead, an interior light fixture came loose while my kids were in the water. We immediately got them out and told the staff. Two hours later, the pool was still open and people were still swimming like nothing happened. Because apparently, here, safety hazards double as "added ambiance." Then there's the "pet relief" area--a 5x5 patch of grass that looked like a landmine field of other dogs' poop, with shards of glass scattered throughout. The bag dispensers were empty, not that I didn't bring my own. My poor service dog deserves better than that. And just when I thought I'd seen it all, I spotted exposed wires on the 5th floor, seemingly connected to a security camera. Nothing says "welcome" quite like loose electrical wiring. The one and only pleasant surprise? Breakfast. It was actually good--shockingly good, given everything else. Unfortunately, one decent meal doesn't erase the fact that this stay was dirty, unsafe, uncomfortable, and far below the standard Hilton promises, especially for Diamond members.

You can rent a cabin or a room in the small inn, most of which have a whirlpool tub. We actually lucked out and got the last available room in the inn. The kitchenette is a great addition and we did make use of it! The bed was comfortable and the flat screen TV was very adequate for it's size. The heater is a bit noisy when it turns on, but that would be the only thing I found even remotely unpleasant. What I love about this wonderful place is all the personal touches in the rooms. I felt so much at home with all the decorations, and loved the whimsy of those outside and on the porch. I love that each room has an old screen door, and yes, it will slam if you forget to hold onto it when you walk in and out of the room!! We couldn't be more pleased with our stay here!
