Super A is my go to stopping spot when I'm in Fillmore and craving a quick bite. It's a grocery store but they have some tasty ready to eat items here. I love their hot food station & they have some of the best fried chicken in the game if you catch them when they have a fresh batch out. I really only stop here primarily for some chicken. I love their crispy batter and it has really a good flavor and seasoning. The only hit or miss depends on how fresh it is. When I catch them on a good day it's a 10/10. Sometimes though I go too late and the chicken is a little dry. It's a gamble I'm willing to take though because it is that good. Also you can't beat the prices, crazy cheap. I walked out with three pieces of fried chicken for $3.50 I really don't know how you can beat that when one piece of fried chicken at a chain fast food joint is that price. The grocery store itself is small but has a good variety of items. A nice meat counter and on the other side are desserts and pastries. I stay away from that side so I won't be even more tempted but they have some great ready to eat items here. Staff are always nice and friendly. I'm usually able to get in and out of here fairly quickly. It's a quiet town and usually isn't too busy inside when I stop in on a weekday. Happy to have a spot that I can run in and out for a quick bite. read more

Stop by there hot food deli today and waited for about 10 minutes for service but no one came. When I asked a lady that had been working back there for a while for help, she didn't respond. I stop here fairly frequently to buy groceries for myself and my pets. They have good prices and good selection on produce, meats and Mexican pastries. I especially appreciate that they put plenty of sugar in their sugary pastries, which I would say is not the usual. But I have a big sweet tooth so I like it here. Really cute treats in the panederia too including candy apples, chocolate covered marshmallows and decorated cakes. Store is medium sized, and has a small selection of everything from all your typical pantry foods to candy, soda, snacks, drinks, frozen foods, household cleaning items, baking things, spices, a very small selection of clothing, plus good size bakery and meat department. I appreciate that you can get some less common cuts and meats here including lamb head, pig head, beef kidney, beef tongue, tripe, heart etc. The butchers have helped me out numerous times when there hasn't been something ready-cut but they have more in the back and will cut it for me while I wait. Store is clean, well stocked and well lit. Parking lot always has plenty of parking spaces and it's conveniently located on the busy main street in town. Cashiers are always polite and professional to me too, and of course bilingual. read more

It's sad to see how bad and dirty this store looks... One thing this store has is that to go to the bathroom you have to go through the backroom, the bathroom is always super dirty but when you go out you can see rat droppings, it's obvious that they have an infestation. Some of the employees are very nice and helpful but my last experience with the porter was very unpleasant he was so rude. The prices are good and hot food are grade but unfortunately we prefer to go somewhere else. read more

We always stop by this store on the way out to the lake. They have a decent selection of cooked food. The fried chicken is the best. My husband always gets the potato wedges and he loves them! We've even orders huge platters of the chicken for family parties. It's bomb chicken !! read more

Good selection of products. Got roasted Turkey from the deli. Grabbed fresh warm bolillo from bakery. Made a few Turkey tortas for lunch. The staff is very nice. Store was clean. Will definitely return for the warm bolillo. read more

Some of their items are cheaper than Vons. They have a great bakery section. But, they need friendlier check out staff. Neither the cashier or bagger greeted me, smiled, or were the least bit friendly. They also packed my meat with my produce. Since their meat is dripping with chicken juice, it would have been nice if they had any common sense whatsoever and put the meat separate. Don't be surprised if you get salmonella if you're not careful!! read more

I would have gave a better rating but ............ I dont like feeling like I got ripped off !! all in all we did enjoy the market, and the choices here. we bought 2 packages of harris ranch beef ribs. when we got home, i opened the 1st package to cut the ribs apart. under the arch of the slab there was an almost all bone scrap, un- usable. upon opening the 2nd package.... same thing, only worse. so basically they add weight to the package, which makes me wonder what other tricks they employ in the meat dept. cant say I will be back. a shame cause the people here were nice. but I refuse to go back to a place that employs these tactics. read more

This Supermarket is a must stop for me when I'm on the 126. They sell the best house made tortilla chips. 2 lbs for $2.99! They are big thick crispy triangles of corn tortilla chip goodness. Good, cheap veggies too. The meats are good, not cheap but good. I once tried the menudo from their deli. It was maybe my second fave menudo ever. While not an aficionado, I know good menudo from bad. read more

Wonderful..Wonderful...Wonderful....Ahh glorious Latino foods.. Their baked chicken will make you crawl on your hands and knees over broken glass to get some. Their homemade tortillas are out of this world. The mini ones are my favorite. Great prices on fruits and vegetables. Most are grown locally. Great guacamole, marinated steak ranchero/carne asada, and chicken. Everything is made fresh everyday. Very nice and helpful staff, even to me who is a juarito, and not from Fillmore. Helpful and knowledgeable meat counter staff! The gentleman take the time to understand what I am planning and advise accordingly. Salsa and cheers selection is good. BBQ chicken makes the whole parking lot smell great! Fair wine selection. A few great value buys. Produce is fair to excellent. The have in house tortillas!
