The highway bugs will slide off my pumper. my leather is looking good. She's now traveling clean. The manager was really helpful in getting me in without an appointment, and I was more than glad to tip the guy who did the great job. Always the best Carwash. Visited today for my free car wash. Now I get it, it's "free" although I paid $130 for an oil change. After the was my car was still dirty from being vacuumed to quickly and my mats were left dirty. CHECK YOUR OIL LEVELS!!! I came in for service on 12/3/22 for an oil change. On 12/16/22, I planned a road trip; during that road trip, my car began to act weird. I checked my oil levels and noticed my oil levels were unusually high. After 2-weeks and a 600-mile road trip, I went to a jiffy lube to check my oil. After paying $100 and getting a new oil change, the attendants informed me my car was over by 4.5 Qts of oil. Today 12/21/22, I went to Amboy Car Wash and Quick Lube to speak w someone to help me with this issue. The oil change manager refused to help me, denying his or his team's involvement with the oil overage. The foul neglect has compromised my car's engine; furthermore, my engine could have been blown, resulting in thousands of dollars of repair. Also, 20 years ago, I did have an engine blown by neglecting to put oil in my car. I owed a Geo Tracker 20 years ago, I came in for an oil change, and they didn't put any oil in my vehicle. My engine seized, and I had to junk the car. This isn't always a problem; however, twice is too many times for me. Cars aren't cheap, and neither is their repair. my last truck I had a bad experience at this place with them refusing to rinse the soap out of the bed, now this time the roller won't push the truck and they try to tell me my alignment is off of my 2023 brand new truck? They even wanted me to pay after my truck got stuck in the wash and was never properly washed! I also pointed out the dirt wasent vaccumed up and he said that's not dirt? Then what was it? Took another car out of turn before mine and when I complained, was basically rudely told that I shouldn't have chosen the more expensive detailing package. Supervisor was not available. Cashier/service advisor, Luna Garcia (name on my invoice) did try to help by getting hold of someone who first told me blatantly that the other car was before me and after I requested him to check the bills to see the correct sequence, he did s, but after figuring out I was correct, just left hurriedly without a word! Cashier did validate later on that I was correct. I've been going for a year to this place- the guys that change my oil, fill up the air on my tire and wash my car, great. Today I had the displeasure of being greeted by the red hair receptionist on the oil change section. I was trying to pay for my oil change but I noticed the price went up. She pointed at the sign saying- the price is right there, don't you see it? She rudely told me to press the button. I did just pay but I checked and the prices are just going up. This happened to me today. I went in for a regular oil change which is listed for $32. While waiting a worker told me it would be $60 because my car uses "different oil". I told him that it was nonsense and that I was not going to pay for that. Then he brought the price down to $48. I told him to forget it that I didn't want the oil change anymore. He then told me that they had drained the old oil already. I had no choice but to let them do the work. I complained to the girl at the register. She claimed that the price was higher because I asked for synthetic oil, which of course is a lie. She was then going to do something to try to justify the price, but I stopped her. I wanted out of there right away. If they did this to me, and I know about this stuff, I can only imagine what they do to people like Housewives that go there for oil changes and they know next to nothing about this. read more

Having surgery tomorrow so I came here to get my oil changed and car washed before I am unable to drive for 2 months. Got my oil changed paid 41$ for it and for the car wash that comes with it. Then drove to the other side of the building for car wash, I pulled up at 259pm and got turned away, bc they apparently close at 3pm...which makes no sence bc I'm staring at the sign that says full service till 6pm, exterior only 6pm-10pm. I called them inside and all the said was you missed the time were closed. You have 30 days to use the coupon....thanks but no thanks. I cant drive for 2 months so when would u like me to do that? If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Absolute WASTE of money. Went there to get a full interior and exterior car wash and the only somewhat decent thing they did was vacuum. After they were done I went into my car to see that my middle console (cup holders, emergency break, etc) wasn't even touched! And the side of my doors still with the same dirt I left it with. THEY STRIPPED THE HEAD OF THE OIL DRAIN PLUG AND REFUSES TO FIX IT. Got my oil change here. they charged me 90 dollars for a synthetic oil change. On the next oil change i took my car to a friends garage. when he raised the car the head of the oil drain plug was completely rounded. when i asked their manager to fix the issue they told me to bring the car in. when i got there they said they would fix it if i pay another 90 dollars for a oil change. If you searched for super lube In Perth Amboy like I did and got the one on Convery blvd that has a super lube sign hanging over it. Know that they do not recognize super lube as the name or their coupons. It's truly not the 5 dollar discount it's the deer in the headlights look you get when you present the coupon. Here why I say it the entire visit I was talked to in English the moment the coupon was presented every one switched to Spanish?? It was impressive almost like I was in a skit on SNL. Been coming here for the past two years for oil changes never have an issue. I do know though some cars need different oil and different air filters, making it an upcharge. I never had an issue with that. the car washes are 50/50 but it's free with the oil change. Free car wash is a definite plus! read more

Do not take your car for an oil change here if you value your car. I took my car in for an oil change and they caused thousands of dollars in engine damage. The incompetent service guy didn't fully remove the old oil filter from the engine and then crushed the new oil filter with the old one in place. Who does this?? They are not even qualified to change the oil on a lawnmower let alone on a car. They are utterly incompetent. read more

I brought my car in to have the oil changed. They called me out to the garage to tell me my lower radiator hose was leaking. I told the manager Leo that the hose was damaged there while they were changing the oil. If the hose was leaking before they worked on the car, there would be a puddle of antifreeze at the entrance of the garage and there was none. They offered to replace the hose for $17.00 for the part plus labor and I had to go get the part. After seeing the damage that they did, I choose to have my mechanic replace it instead. I returned the following day to speak with the manager Leo, told him the time and cost of the repair. At first He demanded to see receipts. I told him it was a 30 minute drive to my mechanics location. Instead of driving back to my mechanic Leo offered me TWO free oil changes. When I went to collect on the second oil change I made mention of how close the oil filter was to the lower radiator hose. The attendant started saying that he was wasn't working on my car as he was checking the tire pressure. I repeated what I said and he responded with, "I'm not working On your F@&$@$g car so shut up. I asked him if he was checking the tire pressure and he told me to shut the Hell up and mind my business. I called the Manager Leo and was told that his employee had been there for many years and that his worker wouldn't do that. I was then asked to pay and leave. I reminded him of the last free oil change that was owed to me and he told me that I was only offered one. I was verbally abused and called a liar by the clerk behind the desk. She and Leo started speaking another language so I could not understand what they were saying even though they both speak perfect English. Unfortunately for them I did understand Spanish and knew what they were saying. I waited for Leo for almost 45 minutes to get a receipt for my records. The whole time I was waiting, I was verbally abused. Again the clerk came out and this time she called me an Asshole customer. I told her to check the computer and see how many times over the years that I brought both my vehicles in for service. She called me an Asshole and a piece of shit customer and said not to come back. Both she and the attendant were neither disciplined nor were they terminated. The professionalism there is a negative on a scale of 1 to 5. I would suggest not using their service. read more

I came here for an oil change. The attendant tried to sell me an oil that was not necessary for my car, even though he said it was. I had to show him 5 back receipts from different vendors that told otherwise. He caved and quoted me for $38.99 + tax which was still outrageous. When the work was done, the cashier said the total was $47.03. They had charged me $11 for a changed filter, which I have NEVER been not asked if I wanted it; NO would have been the answer. When I complained to the manager, he shrugged and said the attendant was on a break. I was perturbed, to say the least. I admit, I left in a huff, not getting the "free" car wash. When I came home and examined the bill further, I saw they lied on the invoice as well; there were no fluids filled. I had them checked. I was NOT asked if I wanted the tire pressure checked, which I actually would have, yet, it is checked that I declined. In addition, and this is a big one, the first line reads FULL SERVICE OIL CHANGE $31.95. They were determined tio up the bill and they did. This place is a RIP OFF. read more
