Had a delicious meal last night. Ordered the special of 3 for $7.99. Couldn't believe how much food there was. Was told it would be ready in 10 min. and it was. It was hot for 1/2 hour after picking it up. What a pleasant surprise. The only complaint was that there wasn't any juice/sauce with the General Tso and Honey Chicken entrees. Would have liked a bit more. AND I got 4 red hot chili's in the General Tso's. Man was my tongue on fire!!! Next time I order, I will specify no hot chili's and a bit more sauce. Service was great, friendly and safe. Will keep on patronizing this establishment even more. I highly recommend it to any one who loves Chinese food. Good job China Buffet!!!! read more

Being from the Chicagoland area, I'm used to buffets of this quality costing more like $20 or so per person. Taking that into account, this place simply gets a boost from your average 3 stars to 4. For the items that I piled onto my plate - varieties of chicken and fried fish in particular --the meats were nice and tender, and the fried fish had a nice crunch to it. The crab legs were a bit underwhelming, but hey, what do you expect for all you can eat at $10? If you're coming to a place specifically for crab legs, I would hope that you'd know to go elsewhere. Otherwise, if this place charged double, then yes, those suckers should be better quality. If I find myself in the area again and I'm damn hungry, I would definitely return for this great deal. read more

If you are afraid of live fish...there are several fish tanks that greet you at the door! They think they are running a gift shop and kids arcade as well, lol. The bathrooms are nasty. The food is the wrong temperature. The floor and furniture are dated. I found an empty sprinkles jar with a spoon caked with crusty junk, plus they were all over the floor. If I could rate this place no stars I would. They have the most disgusting selection I've ever had to ingest in my life. The food was cold and the t had a very unpleasant taste. the chicken taste like it was spoiled and they still cooked it. I ended up leaving not having finished my first plate. It was so bad, that I had to speak to the manager to discuss the fact that I would not pay four awful food. Needless say I will never be visiting in this location again. read more

I was in the area so I gave it a try because of the high overal Yelp review & rating. However, I was very disappointed with everything the restaurant had to offer. The food selection was very limited, the food itself was oily, stale, and on the sweet side. Crab legs were small and not fresh. Hot amd sour soup was just lukewarm. It was also depressing to eat in a Chinese buffet restaurant with only a couple of tables of customers. The only good thing about it, perhaps, was the attentive wait staff. read more

I been coming to Super China Buffet for years now. My family and I love coming here on Sunday after Church. The restaurant is busy so the food get replenished often so it's always fresh! I love their Singapore noodle and beef and broccoli. Come in hungry and leave happy. Beside the attractive price and value their employee also make you feel welcome. Seriously, 4 & 5 stars ? Makes me wonder why I would post what I would consider a accurate review when comparing to those giving 4 or more stars?? Those ratings are obviously inaccurate ! The temps on food concerned me quite a bit, some items were room temp at best (Where is the thermometer or health inspector)? The sushi was just nasty as hell, everything else was worse. read more

Food is good.. Waitress's either lie or don't understand.. Racine location includes drinks.. Asked if Kenosha location does to, they said yes.. until you get your bill ... You explain to cashier, they don't care.. so summary... food good, service poor. If you like Chineese food, you have got to try Chen's Bistro... You will go back there.. Best Chinese food buffet I've been able to find in this area. I've been to this place about 20-30 times and the service has always been exceptionally polite and efficient. The food has always been tasty and kept fresh. The lunch buffet price is a great value (price goes up after around 3:30pm or so I think). read more

This is really the only Chinese buffet that I know about that is near by which is the only reason why I return here. Their food isn't bad however sometimes its cold. It needs updating and cleaning. I am happy they added a sushi bar, but there is not many options. I wish there was another option closer to me that was a buffet. I would ditch this one. read more

Been eating here from time to time for pat 14 years. There was a time I was going in once or twice a month. I have only gone here for lunch so cannot speak to dinner service which includes seafood items. Food is great and fantastic value for buffet. 4 buffet islands of food so plenty of options, so something for everyone. I may like certain foods better at other locations but all things considered this is a very easy 5 stars and this will remain in my rotation for years to come. The fact that this is a Pepsi place so you can wash down all the great food with Mt Dew is a bonus. Friendly service every time and they will be sure to keep your drink full. read more

I live in Kenosha and have eaten here for almost a decade. I used to really like this place but recently have become more and more disappointed. The place is getting run down and unkept. My children and I almost wiped out in the restroom because the floor was very slippery. The food has been tasting and looking worse with each visit. Our most recent visit was this afternoon and I could hardly handle eating most of the food. There was a young child maybe age 10 running the front register and cleaning. I have seem him there quite a few times without an adult. If you manage to get a glimpse in the kitchen it is very unclean looking! I realized after we left today that they charged us the dinner rate because we left right when It changed! We had been there an hour before. No crab legs or anything were out. We could have had a great meal at Red Robin or Olive Garden for cheaper and much more satisfaction. read more

First visit here, went with a big appetite. Every Chinese buffet I have ever had, you pay when you walk in. Here, you pay afterwards, and drink is not included. $10.29 for buffet, $1.99 for drink, and they have waitstaff to get your soda. Everybody here tips, but you are tipping someone to fetch soda for you. I didn't understand that. Sure, they take your plate too, but that's what busboys are for. Weird. Anyway, it was a very busy Saturday night, and some of the "Chinese" entrees, like beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli were running low, which didn't leave much to pick from. They had some mystery fish (baked/broiled, salmon/whitefish; I don't know) that made me think of the buffet with Cousin Eddie on Vegas Vacation. Skip. The fries were cold and underdone. There was no egg fu yung (?spelling), which was dissapointing. The General Tso's chicken was mostly breading. The sweet and sour chicken (aka chicken nuggets) and fried fish were very crispy fresh out of the fryer, so silver lining. BBQ pork was meaty and tasty. Okay salad bar. They actually had some bottles of dressing from Aldi on the buffet, which I thought was weird. If you know anything about sushi, avoid the sushi here. It's not that it's bad, but it's grocery store sushi. You aren't going to find a spicy salmon roll or anything fancier here, and if you've had sushi at a real sushi house, you will be dissapointed. Your basic California roll type stuff. Okay, I know this review isn't so inspiring, however, being hungry, I did find items (like the crispy fried fish) that I liked. My husband ate a LOT, and he was satisfied, and he's hard to please, so there's that. The staff was friendly, and the bathrooms were not the horror show that some reviewers have posted. The place was VERY busy, so it can't be all that bad. If you're hungry, and you're driving by, go ahead and stop. Not the worst I've ever had, not the best, hence 3 stars. read more
