I recently had the pleasure of picking up takeout at Kabab and Grill and it was a great experience from start to finish. This Indo-Pakistani restaurant is a hidden gem that offers a delightful escape into a world of rich and diverse flavors. The menu at Kabab and Grill is a culinary journey through the best of Indian and Pakistani cuisine. I began my meal with the chicken tikka, which was perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection. I opted for the bowl, which gave me a choice of rice, a choice of meat, and two veggie sides. Also got a few sauces plus fresh veggies added to the top. You can't leave without grabbing a samosa too! The flavors were bold and delicious! The restaurant has tables for dining in a very clean space. Additionally, they do have an accompanying room that is able to be rented for large gatherings. If you are into this type of cuisine or eat halal meat, definitely check this place out.

The palak paneer is life changing! The chicken curry has a bit of spice to it. The butter chicken is always a go to and it's on top of such flavorful veggie rice. The service was fantastic! I believe it was the owner or the owners son that served me and went over all the options. They also offer catering and have a banquet hall. I highly recommend them! It was my first time here but I will absolutely be back soon

My friend & I wanted to try Pakistani food for the first time so we planned on trying Chit Chaat first but they were closed at the time so we came to my second option which was here. The place is kind of hidden & looks like a banquet hall. But as soon as you walk in, you're hit in the face with an amazing smell. We told the person that was helping us this was our first time trying Pakistani food so he went on to explain everything he had. He was extremely helpful. It was a buffet style where you just pick what you want in your bowl. Everything we had was amazing & so flavorful. We have already been back twice & I've taken my boyfriend there as he always finishes my left overs. Always excited to go back! *Sorry for the bad pictures they are from videos and you can't add videos*

That suited us as we were low on time and on our way to an event. Service was efficient and polite - a one man crew up front had everything easily under control. The atmosphere is spare and pretty basic, but that doesn't take away from the food experience. My mom's beef dish came out sizzling and spicy. She enjoyed it and the generous portions means she brought a lot home for an additional meal. BF had chicken tikka, which he also enjoyed. He's usually a lamb guy, but he finished his dish happily. I enjoyed my paneer - it had a good heat level and abundant fresh , whole spices and fresh ginger spears. It was not the more common creamy, mushy spinach, but a fresher version that I presume was more typically Pakistani. I had plenty for two meals. Our breads were good. My cheese bread tasted like cheese pizza and couldn't be terribly authentic, but hey - cheese and bread can't be wrong. Mom enjoyed a plain lassi. I did order a side of rice and was happy to have it with my dish, and while it was a generous portion, the price seemed a little high for a side. I would certainly eat at Peshawar again. Very good food with no bells and whistles.

Great selection of a few, expertly made dishes - most being vegetarian. Fun fact, the chicken dish usually runs out first. It's a lunch place and only open for a few hours each day, M-F. The portions are decent for lunch - two "mains" like I usually get daal and paneer plus basmati rice. That will run you $14 (without tip). The spice level is always very nice meaning there's heat but it doesn't overwhelm (at least I don't think it does; with the caveot being I love spicy food).
