I don't even know how many times I've been here. I've been a customer of Ez Eyebrows from when it was just a little kiosk in the university mall; now it's all grown up with it's own permanent store. The ladies here are sweet; skilled; and efficient. I am terrible at shaping my eyebrows and always feel so much better (and well groomed) after leaving. Occasionally they'll miss a few hairs here and there, but I always pluck those and clean them up a bit when I get back home. What I'm really going here for is the shaping. It's only ten bucks for goodness sake! I've paid for $40 + for services at other places with less impressive results. If you've never gotten your eyebrows threaded before, the process might be unusual to you. I personally don't think it's any more painful than waxing, but there are a few times where a plucked hair or two will make your eyes water. Suck it up for beauty ladies. The whole process takes less than five minutes. The store sells some glitzy jewelry here as well. I haven't purchased any of them yet, but saw a few pieces that I think I might be interested in for some special occasions coming up. Make sure to get a frequent buyer's card. I prefer to have my brows cleaned and shaped naturally, so I always make sure to specify how I would like them to look. The moment I stepped in this eyebrows salon I knew I should have walked away. I was in town for the weekend and had some time to spare and figured I could use a brows clean up. Friend recommended this place because it's only $10. Now, my eyebrows were already shaped beforehand, I just needed them to clean up the baby hairs that I'm too much of a baby to pluck. Waited 5 mins, got seated, the lady asked me if I wanted them arched or natural. I told her natural--just clean the baby hair. 5 minutes later, she handed me the mirror and I was horrified. One side is neutral and clean, the other side had like a round arch. Basically they look pretty darn different. THEY WERE NOT EVEN!! I know brows are supposed to be sisters, but mine turned out to be cousins. I spent the next hour in my car trying to fix the shape with my tweezers. 2 stars because $10. Before coming here I'd never gotten my brows threaded before. Some of the views made me a little nervous but I decided to go for it anyway. I have quite sparse brows, with my hair being very thin and light so I was worried about them looking too thin afterwards. I mentioned that I'd like to keep as much hair as possible and just wanted to clean up around the brow. She was super quick, I was in and out in under 5 minutes. My brows look great, she kept the natural shape as I asked for and it makes me brows look thicker now that they're cleaner. $11 is a reasonable price so I'll probably be coming here now instead of attempting to do my own brows at home. They also give out stamp cards! The only complaint I have is that there were a couple stray hairs on my face that they didn't wipe off fully, but this didn't bother me that much. OKAY so I was pretty hesitant to get my eyebrows done because my first time at another salon ended up being a disaster. But my brows were getting to the point of eating my face sooo I decided to try this place out after doing ample research on Yelp. As soon as I sat in the chair, the woman was ready to go. As she came at me with the thread, I had to stop her with "WAIT! I don't want them too thin, can you please just shape and clean them up? The last time I got this done..blahblahblah" to which she responded somewhat impatiently, "Yes yesss don't worry little girl, your bushy caterpillars are safe with me...can't you see that I'm a professional and am totally adept at doing my job??" (not her exact words but I could tell she was thinking it). Then she literally took 2 MINUTES to shape and clean up my brows. 2 MINUTES! She threaded those bushy babies LIKE A BOSS. I was so surprised/happy/relieved I must have thanked her at least 10 times. $10 for eyebrows threaded + $2 tip...super cheap AND you get quality work?! Can't beat that! read more

This eyebrow threading place is located right next to Forever 21 and is in the University "Mall". I can get my eyebrow needs done here so I don't have caterpillar eyebrows! I believe it's around $10 for eyebrows (you can pay with card or cash). They also give you a stamp card and stamp it for each visit if you show it to them every time you come. After 10 stamps on the card, your next eyebrow threading session is free! I love these stamp cards and I love this place bc it's really easy and convenient for me. read more

I asked for a regular clean up and when the lady handed me the mirror after she was done, I was so unsatisfied. There were many hairs that could have been threaded left. I typically maintain my brows on my own through tweezing but I wanted to get them cleaned up + the baby hairs near my hairline threaded before my graduation. The first time I came here, the lady made my brows too thin so I was hesitant to come back, but I made sure I was clear this time that I only wanted to clean up my brows while keeping the same shape. I came in around noon on a Friday and there was a short line, but there was hardly a wait with two people working at the time. The lady I got was efficient and she did a really nice job with defining my brows and hairline. My total came out to $17, which I thought was a bit pricey at first but I don't really have a point of comparison since I usually do my brows myself. The only place I've been to that can get my eyebrows right. Most places I've been to make my brows too arched/thin which doesn't look natural on my face (my brows are rather straight naturally and I have a big head so I like my brows thick to balance it out) Somehow my brows always look fuller and darker (in a good way) after getting them threaded here, I don't know what kind of magic they do. All I know is that I am very sad that I moved out of Davis, my brows will suffer :( read more

First time getting my eyebrows threaded I researched deep for a good threader. In the end, the Yelp reviews for this location made me decide to leave the fate of my face in the hands of this lady. I went in on a Wednesday and it was empty, the lady was on the phone but promptly finished her conversation and had me sitting in a seat that is slightly tilted backwards. I let her know that it was my first time, and I didn't want my eyebrows thin just shaped. She proceeded. At first, the threading hurt (that's probably because my eyebrows were in dire need of help haha), but after awhile you get used to the feeling. I definitely recommend having a tissue in hand like everyone else because once she finishes your eye it WILL have tears (of excitement). In the end, my eyebrows have never looked so great! I'm going on my forth week and they are still shaped lovely with some sprouts here and there. She does have a frequent buyer card too! Maybe the owner doesn't like me.. But she did mines pretty quickly. Not only are my eyebrows uneven, but she made my right eyebrow thinner than my left. While she was threading she was also pulled on my bangs. So now my bangs stick up in front like long baby hairs. Not going back ever! I've only gotten my eyebrows threaded by the owner but she's really fast and its virtually painless (partially because she's so fast). My only complaint is that the owner shapes my eyebrows really "sharp" at the arch which is good for people who like "strong eyebrows" or have the face shape for it but I prefer it to be more rounded and softer looking. I've asked the owner to fix it before but its usually still too sharp for me so I just fix it at home LOL but at $10, I can't complain! read more

I've been getting threading done my whole life and only come her as a last resort. The owner herself is fast but the other girls that work there thread very slow and painful. No matter who I go to they always mess up my shape when I just ask them to clean up. They end up making one eyebrow thinner than the other literally every time I go there so I say if you have other options I would highly recommend you use them. read more

Don't know if it was just the lady I went to today but she did them extremely fast and rough like she was in a rush even though I was the only one to come in. Also, in my extensive past experiences with threading they do, do them very quickly but are not rough with your face like she was with mine. I've been here twice and I'm a fan. I wanted a good shaping so I let my eyebrows totally go for a few weeks before coming in. I was worried they'd take too much -- but that was not the case at all. Came here asking about the discount coupon they offered and the lady was like "yeah yeah yeah...go sit in the chair", and then afterwards, the owner said since you don't have the coupon code, we can't give you a discount. And I asked specifically in the beginning for the discount and said I didn't have the coupon since last time they gave me the discount without a coupon. I really don't mind paying extra if they do a good job, but they really didn't for both times I have been here. I also hate it when people go back on their words. It's been a while since I've gotten my brows done here and I left as one unhappy customer. I was desperate to get my brows done for the weekend so I decided to give this place another shot but once again this place has failed to give me the brows that I desire. I would often ask for a "clean up" and for them to not thin it out but they would do the opposite of what I tell them. My brows are way thinner than they previously were. I guess it's always a hit or miss when you get your brows done here because according to other helpers they really like this place. For me personally, I won't be coming back her to get my brows done. Weirdly, My most complimented feature is my eyebrows! Anyone that knows me from young age knows that i had huge thick bushy eyebrows, but not since I met Neeti! Thank God!! I've been with her for over a year and love that she has moved to Davis! Neeti is simply AMAZING and a sweet heart!! She listens and does exactly what I want! I like how quick they are. When I when in, there was a queue of people waiting, but it didn't haven't to wait long at all. The lady took about a minute to thread my upper lip, for only $6! I usually tweeze my upper lip hair myself, but it can be time consuming and I don't enjoy tweezing the sensitive area right below the nose, so it's great to have it all done in one go. However, I did notice later as I looked in a morrow at home that some obvious hairs were missed, which was kind of annoying, but I just tweeted them. Next time I'll closely inspect and make sure they're all gone before I leave and pay! read more

Ive realized my eyebrow experiences are not happy endings unless the person threading me actually asks me or I tell her how I want it....maybe it is my fault...i dont know but basically she did a good job. I only come here to get threaded! It's a quiet place and the employees don't really converse w/you, but they are sweet and they definitely know what they are doing. They sell jewelry here as well, I've never bought them b/c I have never had any occasion to need them. They have plenty of room for people and they are quick to help as many people as possible in a timely manner. The prices are comprable for the work that they do. Please do tip them! Location is key as well, they are right off the UCD campus and a bus line is on that block, there is always plenty of parking. All in all, I don't want to go anywhere else. read more
