We used Super Friends three years ago and the service was great. We needed to recently move again so I wanted to use Super Friends again. We entered into a contract with a date certain for the move. This was about 45 days prior to our move. About 15 days prior to the move, I started leaving voice mail messages at the only contact number. I left over four voice mail messages asking to confirm that the movers would move us on the agreed date. No return phone calls. I sent at least three email messages to the company asking for confirmation. No response. Because the lack of any communication, I sent an email message cancelling the service. To the credit of the Super Friends, it refunded our $100 deposit. We hired another mover with great results for less money than estimated by Super Friends. It is my guess that the company is about out of business. Don't use this mover. read more

SFM responded quickly to our request for a quote to pack and move us. We chose SFM not only because their price was best, but because they made suggestions for work we could easily do on our own to save money. We were pleasantly surprised today that not only was our move completed on time, by a hard working crew, but it was under the estimate. We highly recommend SFM. It took me a lot of emails and calls but they finally responded and paid for a scratch they did to my headboard. Booking was easy; they showed on time; my friend said they worked non stop and they were very pleasant to deal with. Never were they reluctant to pay for the scratch. It just took a lot of calls and emails from my side to follow up and make sure I could get the guy to fix it and they would pay. I would definitely use them again. They are not inexpensive, though. But I did a lot of research when looking for movers and these were in a range price that was ok. read more

Moving totally sucks. If you're reading this review, chances are you're deciding if you want to go through the painful experience of renting a truck and bribing your friends with crappy pizza to move yourself or ponying up and hiring a mover. Save your time, spine health, friendships, and marriage and just hire Super Friends. Based on the recommendation from several friends of mine, I used Super Friends for my recent move across the city, and I couldn't be happier with them - the responsiveness, professionalism, hard work, and price were all better than I expected. I hope I don't have to move again for a while, but if I do, I'm going straight to Super Friends. Here's why: 1) The guy who came over to evaluate our house and estimate the move (Craig) was on time, friendly, and thorough. 2) The movers showed up on time. 3) They were less expensive than quoted - how you ask? The 3-man crew worked their butts off and finished in less time than quoted (you only pay for the time they actually work, so if you're well organized, you'll probably save a few bucks off the quote). 4) Jakub, the owner, helped me resolve a minor payment error immediately, a month after the move when I discovered the error. The movers dropped my portable air conditioner and broke it. I understand accidents happen, but they didn't even apologize or appear to be sorry. They apathetically said I should take pictures and contact the office to file a claim. After I did that, the owner responded asking for the make/model. He also said that the basic coverage was $.60/lbs. I've heard nothing since then, and it's been 3 weeks. We just finished the move from heck. Together. Super Friends Moving, and I. That sounds cheesy as all get-out, but after the weekend I've had, there is no overstating how grateful I am that I chose the movers I did. THANK YOU to Angelo and Mikey, as they were the heroes of this epic tragedy/comedy. It was already a bit of a doozy move, flat-rate from Oregon in one day. But over the course of our adventure we encountered ten-mile backups, 3-lane closures due to construction, summer tourist traffic, a storage unit-fiasco that involved my facility being locked (by chain?) during the night by a vagrant, subsequent delays, and the world's tiniest Public Storage elevator. I was a basket-case and beyond exhausted by the end; these guys talked me off the edge, while loading very heavy boxes, and they did it with a smile. ALSO: Cash discount. Score. The guys on the phone are a little gruff, but they get the job done, man. Here's the thing; the magic of this company seems to be in the dudes who do the heavy lifting and are out in the field (Craig, the fellow who did my first estimate was also super awesome and efficient). I've used them three - yes, 3 - times over the last year now (frequent mover's club guys??), both in WA and OR, and the movers who show up do everything in their power to make everything as stress free as possible... and I truly need that. I feel like a jerk for not reviewing the company before this move, but after my one-day move turned into a two-day nightmare, I needed to throw this out there. Hire these guys. Just do it. read more

If I could give this review 0 stars, I would. Where, oh where, should I begin this awful tale? The beginning you say.. fair enough. I was moving into a 625sqft 1br in South Seattle and the Company estimated that the moving time would be roughly *6* hours including drive time (it would be far, FAR longer). It would be more time consuming and thus cost more if they had to do a lot of packing, etc.... standard moving company stuff. I'm a disabled veteran (more on this later) and actually packing is very difficult however I also don't have much money so I packed most of the things on my own and then waited for move day. The crew showed up on time, were helpful and friendly. The Company had said they would send two crew and, instead, three crew arrived and I was hopeful that, perhaps, it would take less time than it had been estimated. Finally, 6 hours later, they had finished loading the truck and then said that they needed a dinner break and that they would meet me at my destination in an hour. So...an hour later they arrive at which point the unloading begins. 3 hours later and things are moved in, it's 9pm and instead of the $450-600 quote the final cost is nearly $1,100. We discover that they left some of my bed frame in the old unit so I cannot assemble my bed and they broke the wheels off a rolling file cabinet. The crew shove a tape dispenser under the frame and say "here, this will work" and leave (the tape dispenser is still there... why, you might ask? that's coming up.) I wake the next day and contact the company and the team lead for my move, Gabe. what follows are the email exchanges between myself and the Company. From: Dahlia Hello Gabe. I have a huge problem with this move. One piece of furniture was broken, they lost parts of my bed frame and the move took over 8 HOURS and was over $1,000!!!!! How, on earth, can a 600sqft apartment take 3 people 8 HOURS to move?! That is double the cost of the estimate! I'm furious and if someone doesn't speak to me today about this I'm going to reverse the charges on the credit card. this email gets a reply from the owner of the company, Jakub wherein he says: From: Jakub thanks for the feedback. I am pretty stunned that a 1-bedroom apartment move would take this long to complete as well, since the standard apartment takes two of our guys about 3-5 hours to complete all together. Beau did let me know that they lost a caster to your bed frame along the way, and that there was some damage to an end table. I would like to meet with you personally to provide a replacement caster for your bed frame, and also have a look at the end table to see if it can be repaired, or needs to be replaced. Since the total cost of your move is a a surprise for the both of us, I would also be happy to discuss refunding some portion fo the overall cost. Please let me know a good day/time that works or you, for a brief meeting to resolve the issues expressed. so far, so good....he sees the issue and is willing to talk. Let's see where this goes, shall we? From: Dahlia I would be happy to meet with you and show you the damage to the furniture and to discuss a refund of some of the cost. From: Dahlia Let me put it to you plainly, Jakub: I'm a disabled veteran and this move being double the estimated cost will mean that I'll not be able to cover my first rent payment in my new apartment. I'd like a refund of $350.00 and I'll replace the broken cabinet and the missing caster on the bed. Jakub: A $350/refund seems fair given that there was some minor damage on the move and it took twice as long as much work as either of us were anticipating. Please let me know where I can mail that to. One month later, I send this: From: Dahlia I feel like I've been more than patient with this process. Please send the check today. Jakub: Your check was mailed last week (Oct 5th), so you may want to keep an eye out for your mail. 2 weeks after that and I write: From: Dahlia I don't know where that check was sent however it has not arrived here so I would suggest putting a stop payment on that one and resending it. It's now been almost 4 months and Jakub has not responded, sent the refund nor replaced the damaged property as he said that he would. As a veteran it's imperative that I deal with companies that have honor and integrity. Thus far this company has demonstrated non of those qualities. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and the Veteran's Affairs Representative in Seattle and I STRONGLY encourage any Veterans' to avoid this company. read more

I booked for moving, and went through all their process, including an interview, and online form. I tried unsuccessfully to pay the deposit, called to see why, and their response was that they booked for that day because I wasn't fast enough in paying such deposit. They compare themselves with an airline "first come first served" regardless all the time spent in booking and interviewing. Very unprofessional , unethical and frustrating. read more

Super friends was super disappointing.. I requested a quote over the phone. The receptionist pandora told me someone will call me in reasonable time, but no call for the next 48 hrs. Called back, another receptionist Claudia couldn't find any of my info, started over, she repeated the same thing, someone will call you soon. I told her I'll consider they are not interested if not call today. Guess what? No quote no call. I figure I was discriminated because Either I'm an Asian with accent or I requested only two hours of service. Don't waste your time!!! read more

We hired Super Friends based on a word of mouth recommendation and couldn't have been happier. They were polite, friendly and hard working. Super Friends packed our kitchen items safely. Everything arrived in excellent condition to our new home. Then our new neighbor yelled at them as they parked the moving truck in the driveway. It was about noon and our new neighbor was clearly drunk...yeah awesome! I have to give these guys credit for maintaining their composure. Although, I wouldn't have blamed them if they decided to punch this guy. The neighbor probably deserved it for his rude behavior. I used Super Friends to move from Seattle to Portland in September...I still don't have resolution to the damage done during my move 8 months later. I've made countless calls and sent multiple emails and yet I still wait for resolution. Trying to get support or response post move is a fruitless exercise. They promise to call back and don't. It feels like they are hoping that I will get tired of continually calling them so they can skip out on resolving the damage their company did during my move. I'm planning to report them to the Better Business Bureau due to these shady practices. read more

Fantastic! We used Super Friends recently for a move and this is a rave about their services & website. The site allowed me to easily check off & list the details of the move (room by room, item by item if I wanted), add pictures, schedule the day & time. And an easy-to-use scheduling tool to talk with someone live for any questions! On move day they were exactly on time, friendly & helpful, took great care to package fragile furniture, move everything, and set it all up the way we wanted. This move was to a secured facility and especially with all the COVID precautions, they took care of everything exactly right. And they finished quickly; under the allotted time. The estimate they provided was very reasonable and the total cost was less because they finished early. They did a great follow up survey. About a month before our move I submitted requests for quotes from 3 different moving companies when it came time to arrange our move from Capitol Hill in Seattle to the suburbs. Super Friends Moving made the best impression from the get go. When I filled out their online estimate form they got back to me in less than 24 hours. The quote, which was prepared by Joseph, was very detailed and outlined all charges, it also included helpful information like their loss/damage coverage policies, moving tips, etc... Overall it was a very well thought out package, and is what made me decide to go with Super Friends. Their estimate was competitive with other quotes I received. For moving our apartment, clearing out our storage unit and delivering everything to our new home they suggested a crew of 4 men and two trucks for 7 hours. We hired them. On the appointed day I got a call from the team lead, Steve, confirming our location and the plan for the day. The team of four: Steve, Sam, Mikey, and Beau showed up on time and ready to go. They were all super nice and worked very efficiently. I couldn't believe how quickly the cleared out our apartment, which included dismantling and moving a very large and very heavy Tempur-pedic bed. The same thing happened at our storage unit. The guy that was managing the storage unit even stopped to ask me what company we were using because he wasn't used to seeing storage units emptied so quickly. The guys never stopped. They also helped with protecting some of our large furniture in the storage unit that the last moving company we used didn't leave wrapped. After the storage unit they took a quick half an hour lunch (off the clock) and then showed up to our house to deliver all of our stuff. Here again they worked quickly and efficiently. They moved some really big and heavy pieces very carefully upstairs. Nothing was damaged. A few times we changed our minds about where to put something in the house, for which we apologized. Steve reminded us that they were there to do what we needed and to be a convenience for us. It was nice to be reminded of that. I find that it's often really hard to find service-minded individuals in the service industry. These guys definitely have it. In total it ended up taking 8 hours instead of 7, but I don't fault the guys for that at all. They worked hard and fast, we just had a lot of stuff. I would happily hire them again the next time we move, though I hope that won't be for a very long time! read more

We used Super Friends to move us out of state. While they were friendly and easy to work with, there were definitely some challenges. They were able to accommodate our needs for the days of moving and unloading around the holidays and they were right on time. The challenges came with their overly hasty packing. They packed our whole house in a day and used inexperienced packers who just randomly threw things into boxes. When I unpacked our things, I found original artwork packed with my laundry detergent. Literally. Not cool. Not one picture or piece of artwork was adequately packed in paper and some items were lightly scratched though nothing was broken or ruined, thankfully. I also feel that their overly fast packing contributed to additional charges. For example, we found one small plastic garbage can packed alone in a box. Pretty wasteful and not well organized. The packers also neglected to pack some kitchen items in a narrow tall cabinet (so long to ALL of our cookie sheets, pizza peel and pizza stone). Sadly, we did not ever get those items returned to us. Only one Ikea shelf had a hole. Everything else made it intact without any major damage. Although Super Friends got the job done, I was disappointed in the packing. I would recommend them for a local move but not for their packing skills. read more

Very unprofessional. Spoke with Gabe and was supposed to get an email confirmation from his co-worker Jake to put in a deposit. Never got the email. Called up the office and spoke with Gabby. She was of no help - told me that because we did not place a deposit they would not be able to confirm that they would do the job. Told me she had no way to send the email and had to reach out to her Manager. She did not return my call so I called her back. Told me since her Manager was not returning her calls she could not help. I would not recommend hiring them. read more

Beware, you are out of luck if there is any damage. They moved our furniture, mostly heavier objects to a new house. They showed up right on time. Where things took a turn for the worse was when they were unloading at our new house. They damaged two pieces of furniture one beyond repair. The furniture was not inspected until after they left, as other items were placed in front of it. Their policy says they are not responsible for damage once the bill of lading is signed. However, I never signed a bill of lading. The copy that was provided was an obvious scribble forgery. I have reached out multiple times to Super Friends Moving for a resolution, but they have ignored all of my attempts. read more

Had to orchestrate two moves over the past few weeks. Used Super friends Moving each time. Sam and Eric were so good, quick and nice I asked for them for the second move. I didn't have the easiest move, the marble table going up 30 steps for example in the first move, but they were pleased to be asked back and I didn't disappoint on the "who needs the gym" second move with the gigantic heavy bedroom furniture in the second. I will be using Super Friends again in the near future. read more

So easy to work with! They came out to quote our move, gave us a quote same day and confirmed our slot the next day. On moving day, they were on time and even called before they arrived...just like they said they would. The move was so easy. They took great care of all our things and were so polite. All 4 guys on the crew were really wonderful. I thought moving day was going to be terrible...because, who likes to move, but they completely made moving easy! They never complained once and we have really really heavy furniture. We also just had new carpet installed and they had to keep taking off their shoes before going on the carpet, so it was out in rain, shoes off. I feel terrible because we usually have some food and water for the movers but we were so behind, I completely forgot. Im kicking myself for not planning ahead better, they were completely deserving of some extra snacks after all the work they did. Thank you so much for making our move so easy. Didn't show up. Didn't call. Didn't apologize or follow up. I should have not trusted them after they seemed to confuse the date a few times. After they were 2.5 hours still no-show (and after several unanswered calls and texts), I had to scramble to find some new movers on craigslist, which ended up costing me a 3-hour minimum for ~2 hours of work. I mentioned to the new guys (who did a great job) that Superfriends had not shown up and they said: "oh yeah, we get a bunch of run-off [from their no-shows]". I had 1 afternoon to get my Door-to-Door storage containers filled and was totally screwed by my choice to go with these guys based on reviews here. I lost many key hours and $$ waiting for these no-shows. I was already exhausted and stressed and then had to spend hours waiting for and trying to reach these jokers. No response later, no apology. Awful, awful experience... And they never even moved me! After reading mostly good reviews here, I sent an inquiry to which they responded favorably. They could do the move on the day I need, and the time I wanted. I expressed some concern over the several reviews here where people said they were no-shows. Jakub said that they had turned over a new leaf, things are much better now, etc etc. And I never heard from him again. 2 emails and 2 phone calls over the course of 4-5 days, trying to confirm my move (which is in 2 days now), ignored. I booked with Can't Stop Movers, they do crazy things like PICK UP THE PHONE when I call and CALL ME BACK within a reasonable amount of time. Seriously, customer service isn't that hard... I had this review posted before and it dropped off. So, I guess I'll post it again. As an update, when I originally posted this review, Alex and Jakub offered to refund me part of my money to make up for the problems you'll read about below. However, after at least 10 unanswered phone calls and emails, I've yet to get my money or a response. So, here's the review I originally posted. When I first talked to Alex at Super Friends to get the estimate and set up an 8AM start time (suggested by him), I was feeling pretty confident with his professional demeanor and was expecting to be moved in by lunchtime. When I called to confirm the start time the night before, all seemed well. Day of the move: 8AM- No Show. 8:30- Call Alex and Jacob (other owner)...nothing. 9:00- Call, call, call....leave messages for both Alex and Jacob. No Answer, no call back. 9:45- Call ADAMS MOVING SERVICE (as I've given up on Super Friends), get a quick response and a 2PM move scheduled. 10:00- Jacob (From Super Friends) finally calls and says he's on his way. He says there was a scheduling error, which I think is a bunch of bullshit. It's funny how a scheduling error turns off your phone. I call ADAMS MOVING SERVICE to tell him they had shown up, and he wishes me all the best. 10:15-12:45- Jacob and another mover do a great job. I will say that when they are working, they are fantastic. We have a lot of books, records and a large archival piece of art with about 50lbs of glass and it got here without a scratch. 1:00- Jacob tells me they have to leave to do another job they're running late on and will return at 5PM. Wow, wonder why they're running late. 5:00-7:00 Movers return and finish everything up (again, busting ass). However, they finish up a 4.5 hour move 11 Hours after they should have started. Again, these guys are great at what their primary service is (moving). However, their customer service is crap. When you spend hundreds of dollars on a move, it's totally unacceptable for this to happen. The funny thing is that as I type this out, I got an email from ADAMS MOVING SERVICE asking how my move went....with another company! I guess I know who I will be going with next time. read more

They were seriously cool guys who talked a little like if Rocky was training in Beantown "Heyyy yoooo." They were done in 25 minutes and I paid them for the whole hour. As someone who's moved yearly for the past seven years, all I can say is I wish I'd discovered Super Friends Moving a long time ago.... This past move from Seattle to Portland is the first professionally-assisted move I've had in my adult life, and I'm never going back! Especially since these guys were so great. Our crew of three arrived right on time, and were not only thorough and professional but friendly and personable. They thought of everything, even making sure we waited to take my man's bike down until last (because you don't want a bike sitting visibly at the back of a moving truck, especially on the Hill!). Our place is up two flights of stairs, without an elevator, and the guys managed to get everything down to the truck without any damage to stuff or walls. I'm sure there are many competent movers out there, but the best thing about Super Friends was that, as Rachel G says, they do feel like a bunch of real friends in your place helping to move your things. They have a two-hour minimum, and our quote for that was $240 (a small price compared to the massive benefit of their services). They also checked to make sure we had what we needed down in Portland; apparently they have folks down here that we could also have contacted or used for unloading. We didn't need that, but I appreciated the offering. I really hope I don't have to move anytime soon, but if I do (and if I can find their PDX connection), this is whom I'll be calling! read more

I used Super Friends to help unload a Pod for me back in February. The movers were on time, super fast and nice. Everything went smoothly except that when they moved my bed with underbed drawers upstairs they didn't take out or secure the drawers and one of them fell out and came crashing down the stairs. The damage to the floor was fixable (I fixed it), but the drawer itself was broken. The movers were totally apologetic and said they would be in contact about either replacing the drawer or refunding us. Almost two months go by and I get no follow up. I tried to call them and got blown off. I tried again and was told to write up my request in an email. They respond to that email and asked which drawer would need to be replaced. Great! I responded the same day with the drawer info. That was May 1st. Still. no. response. I've tried calling them, emailing them, contacting them via BBB and they have never once gotten back to me. Clearly, they got my message, know that their movers broke something of mine and have decided not to deal with it. Pretty much precludes them from being a good or even decent moving company. Later I had something else moved and used Uff Da movers. They were fantastic. Highly recommend them, certainly over the crooks at Super Friends. read more

We decided on a 3 man crew to move from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 1 bedroom. Both places had locked down freight elevators, but they were there from 9:15 am to almost 5 pm. And we were only moving 2 blocks away! The guys were friendly and on-time, but I would recommend keeping an eye on them. Everything was going smoothly, until we decided to leave them and grab lunch. They had 1 last load left and the guy in charge said it should take about 40 mins. After lunch, we waited for them at our new place, couple of blocks away. It took them 2 hours to get there! We were calling to get an update and had a hard time getting a hold of them. Finally when we did, they said they were still finishing up and the elevator was taking a long time... Well, the freight elevator was locked down for them, so it didn't make sense. Yes, they had to dis/reassemble our desk and bed, but it shouldn't have taken that long with 3 guys. They also dinged our dining table and one of the switch from our lamps broke off. Both of our glass coffee & side table were chipped, even after I made it clear to be extra careful with those. I get that it's hard to have a perfect move where nothing gets damaged, but the guy didn't even apologize when he dinged our dining table right in front of me. I would only recommend these guys if you're going to be there supervising the whole time. read more

We made a 3 PM appointment for a move from storage unit to new home, we were told that we would get a call from the crew 30 mins prior to the move. Come 2:30 no call, I call them and get to know they are held up for another hour. So I call up again after an hour and again get to know they are still held up. This drags on till 7 when I have almost given up on these guy. Once they did show up 3-4 hour later than expected things went good, the move itself was easy and they were done within next 2 hours. I hoped that they would be at least professional enough to give me a better time estimate and the whole "will i be be to move today or do I have to move it all by myself next day by hiring my own truck" anxiety could have been avoided had they been on time or given me a better estimate that they will be 4 hours late instead of a hourly slip which I had to call up and inquire every time. read more

I used Super Friends for a long distance move from Seattle to Oakland. PROS: -Showed up on times, both ways -Discount for cash -Didn't move my stuff to another truck - eliminates likelihood that something will get lost -Got a discount because they bundled my move with another move -2K cheaper than other quotes I was getting -My stuff arrived intact, nothing broken (I packed myself). SUGGESTIONS: - When I called for a quote, they picked up the phone the first time. However, every other time I tried to call, no one answered the phone. This is simply unprofessional. When I left messages, no one called me back. They were pretty good with email. -They wrapped my furniture (sofa, etc.) in paper. I've been with other companies that use reusable blankets. That would have been preferable, at least for ecological reasons. -When the movers picked up my stuff in Seattle, there were *6* movers. For my small 1 bedroom apt, this was simply overwhelming and unnecessary. I told the lead not to take certain boxes, and of course some other mover took them because he wasn't listening. The movers were not really paying attention, one even had headphones on. 3 movers would have been plenty and easier for me to manage and to give directions to. -When the movers dropped off my stuff in Oakland, there were only 2 people. This was too few - as they brought the furniture up the stairs, no one was watching the truck. It took longer than necessary. Again, 3 would have been optimal. I signed up with Super Friends because they agreed to pack my belongings, move them into their storage in Seattle, and once I found an apartment (I had an approximate date within the month), to move my things from their storage area into into my new apartment in Chicago. I went with them because this scenario reduced the amount of handling my things would go through, and gave me one point of contact and one responsible party for my belongings. They came to pack and move my things as agreed, and they moved my things into their storage in Seattle. After that however, they did nothing as agreed. I found my new apartment on schedule, and called to make arrangements for the final part of the move. No return phone calls. No return emails. For DAYS!!! Their voicemail became full, I couldn't even leave a message anymore. I had an apartment, a job to start - and I couldn't get any information about my belongings. I had no idea if I would ever see my things again! They finally got back in touch with me literally at least 10 days later - I had to send an email threatening a lawsuit before they called me back. And that was when I found out they had moved already moved everything to some random storage area in Chicago - without notifying me - thus putting my things through an intermediate move that I had not agreed to or wanted. And then they told me they wouldn't be finishing the move, that they had handed it off to a third party moving company, a third party company I had no opportunity to review. These guys are the BEST! We first contacted another highly reviewed Yelp moving company who came out for an estimate, then left us high and dry. So 2 weeks prior to the move we contacted Super Friends and I'm so glad I did! They are trustworthy, accommodating, friendly, very fairly priced, responsive... I could go on and on. They even came over and helped me pack prior to the move. This is the type of company that Yelp is amazing for because I really do want to tell as many people as possible to hire them! Update: Just used them to move after having a great experience staging our house. They were just as good the second time. It took about two hours longer than expected because we weren't ready and they helped us pack everything up. They were friendly and helpful and very hardworking. Can't recommend them enough! Original: Super Friends was great! The movers we scheduled with another firm flamed out at the last minute and Super Friends came through to carry the day. I hate moving. I hate it like poison. But you gotta do it sometimes, and when you do, you seriously need to call these dudes. 1.) Cool name 2.) Picture of French Bulldog Poppi on website 3.) Super friendly 4.) Totally fast They were also the cheapest rate that I found, they took great care of our stuff (nothing broken or even dinged), they were articulate, funny, and amazingly fast. They packed the truck like they had, perhaps, played waaay too much Tetris; everything was perfectly placed, and in the most efficient way possible. They even have a haul-away service, so if you decide you really don't need that semi-disposable Swedish furniture, they will spirit it away for you. I still hate moving, but at least these dudes will take my crap to a new place in the least painful way possible. read more

This is a good review--if fact it is a glowing and sparkly review packed with antidotes and cute little plays on the business name. Yes I know that is a shocker given my penchant for snarky comments and general crankypantsness but I digress... Superfriends are in fact all they are cracked up to be--They are super friendly uber-mover beings. They rescued me from my whirlwind of moving chaos and disorganization and landed my (nearly panic-free) in my new home. In the process, they had to deal with: One extra, semi-off site storage unit with a mix of stuff to be moved and stuff to be put into my old place. A seemingly infinite number of boxes filled with crap that needed to go to 1 of 3 floors. The discovery that 2 very large pieces of furniture would not fit up the narrow staircases between these 3 floors. The decision to move one of the above mentioned pieces back to my old place so that I could give it to one of my old neighbors. Nightmare client--yup that's me. I had used super friends before to move. good first impression. today I was supposed to move. they scheduled for 1-3pm start. At 5pm still no word from them on a specific time. 5pm rolls around and still driving- cause of traffic. Umm what moron shedules a crew to tacoma and ballard in the same day?? At 150 bucks an hour I expect communication from the crew and the ability to be on time. So now the customer gets to move at 8 at night.
