They arrived on time, communicated well throughout the entire process, and worked incredibly hard from start to finish. They carefully wrapped and protected everything that needed it, packed the truck like a game of Tetris, and handled both loading and unloading efficiently. They also took apart desks and beds and reassembled them perfectly at the new location. What impressed me most was their attitude. Despite a long day of heavy lifting, they always had big smiles and were genuinely pleasant to work with. These guys are strong as oxen and never slowed down. It was a 12 hour day!! Nothing was broken or damaged, and there were no surprises with the bill. I especially appreciated their straightforward pricing structure with a fixed travel charge rather than the vague "from our location" fees that can vary wildly depending on traffic. As a Realtor for over 31 years, I've worked with and observed many moving companies. Anderson, Carlos, and Luis rank among the very best I've seen. ANYONE LOOKING TO HIRE MOVERS BEWARE *review update* Do not hire these movers! We hired them to help us with our move on Saturday, August 1st. They moved a 500 dollar pair of Bose headphones (that are not even finished being paid off) to the cab of their moving truck and decided to keep them. We have contacted them three separate times to return them and have ignored us. I am a very disabled retiree with neuropathy, as well as lots of problems and these movers were the only ones I could afford at the time. I'm warning you not to hire them or else you'll have to deal with filing stolen property reports for whatever high value electronics they decide to steal. These movers work extremely fast and are opportunistic thieves! If for whatever reason you do decide to hire them, keep serial numbers of all your high value electronics to easier report them stolen and make it harder for them to pawn and sell, set up security cameras to watch their moving truck so you can show it to the police after, and expect no communication from them after they have stolen your property; but it is recommend to just hire another company instead of this company that prey on disabled retirees. read more

This review is different for the movers vs. the background customer service of the actual company. The Movers: they were professional and did a great job. I don't have their names anymore but they came on time and were curteous the whole time. They wrapped my items carefully and pushed through the super heavy stuff. I felt so bad sometimes when they were going up the stairs with heavy things but they never complained and did their job well. The Company & Customer Service: this is, unfortunately, where things took a bad turn. Even though the movers tried their best to be careful, they did break 2 things during the move - I know it was an accident but I still did have to reach out to the company for the insurance. Lion Movers' basic insurance is they pay 60 cents per pound of damaged items. You can pay for more but I just chose the basic insurance. I reached out to the company for the pay out - it was only something like $20 at the end of the day, but they ghosted me week after week. I wrote follow up emails, they ignored me. I wrote more follow up emails, they responded with apologies, but then didn't follow through with the pay out. I gave them more chances - this was over the course of 3+ months for $20 bucks!!! In the end, nothing happened and they just completely ghosted me. I thought this was so incredibly unprofessional and petty. It was literally $20 and of course it wasn't even about the money - it was about the lack of care and lack of unprofessionalism and the principle of it. They didn't follow through with the contract that I signed. So I can't recommend this company due to their lack of follow through when the going gets tough. I think that's really when you see the true colors of a company. If the movers have an accident with your stuff, you cannot trust the company to pay out so you can't trust this company period. read more

Lion movers customer service to schedule and share reminders for the move was great. They were very clear on the phone about pricing and patient as well. The movers worked very quickly to load and unload. They wrapped cushions and covered tabletops. They handled stairs up to the apartment as well. A move like this would have taken me 5× the time. We had a great experience using Lion movers. Two men arrived well before time and they were thoroughly professional wasted no time help us move all the furniture. They packed using wrapping material and moved everything without a hassle and they even set up all the furniture assembled in our new place, and when we requested to move furniture to another location because it looks better, they were more than willing to do the work so I highly recommend Lion movers. I had arranged with Next Stop Relocation in September to move my family. I clearly stated that I only wanted to move with an actual company in their trucks and their employees. On the day of the move, Lions Movers shows up with only a man and woman with a U-Haul truck. After loading all of my items that had been clearly pictured and sent to Next Stop for a quote, I was told the estimate was double and I now had to pay more. Even if they unloaded, I had to pay for their time. After negotiating some, I still expressed that everything needs to be packaged, wrapped, etc. to ensure no damage. When the items arrived, furniture was damaged, belongings were wet/soiled, etc. I sent pictures of the items to the person from Lions Movers only for him to express that these items were in this condition. Many of these items were expensive, brand-new items purchased in March of this year. Please do not work with this company or Next Stop Relocation as they fabricate estimates only to extort money out of you and do not provide the services that were agreed upon. read more

I used Lion Movers 2 weeks ago for a local move in King County and my wife and I could not have been happier. Ricardo and his team were very communicative, arrived on time, and got to work right away. I accidentally packed away my tools and they broke down two pieces of furniture and put it together as the new house. You often hear horror stories with moving companies and I was happy that this was nowhere near the case with Lion Movers. They also quoted me a very fair price, that was couple with exceptional work. It was easy to get a quote, and schedule the moving date.
