I just finished service with Super Friends and would not recommend them to anyone, unfortunately. First, they were supposed to arrive between 8-9 and they were 30 minutes late. Despite this, they decided to take a lunch break, without asking me, in the middle of the job, when they knew that I only had an elevator reservation until 3pm based on my initial reservation. I was able to get it extended by an hour to 4pm, thankfully. These are minor, however, when it comes to the packing job that was done. One mover, James, did a fantastic job with the area of the house that he handled, so I don't want this part of the review to reflect on him. The other two movers, however, did a horrible job. When dealing with the many liquid products that I have, there was no care taken at all. An entire bottle (it was nearly full) of bathroom cleaner was spilled in a box. A bottle of cologne was shattered. My liquid shampoo got over everything. They knew about the cleaner and while they told me, there was no apology given. They (the other two movers) also did not think about placement of items. My toothbrush was literally in the head of my plunger, for instance. I also was very intentional of keeping remotes with the corresponding appliances and yet they were not packed together. They also packed my very expensive computer monitor in a box with no protection at all. I wish that I could give a better review to a company whos owner I have been acquainted with for years. Unfortunately when it came to moving my wife and I from Seattle to WI it was an absolute catastrophe. It all went wrong when I was not informed that they would be unloading the truck that was loaded at my home to be reloaded into another truck at their warehouse. Well when we opened the door for the moving truck to be unloaded in WI it looked as though our belongings had been thrown in the truck haphazardly with no concern of any kind. Broken antiques, dented dryer, scratched and dented custom bike that I specifically pointed out as my most valuable belonging, list is to long for my review. My favorite is when I found multi boxes of our belongings to be missing. I have contacted the company and the owner directly and was refunded half of my deposit and was told I would receive the rest soon only to be ignored and lied to. I did not even ask for replacement or repair of the many broken and/or damaged items, I just asked for a refund on the moving expense, trying to be easy to work with and keep a friend. If this is how the owners friends are treated I can only imagine how a strangers belongings would be mistreated. I would not recommend Super friends to my worst enemy. I want to share my experience with other families who is looking for a mover so they don't have to go through the stress we went through with this company.  I would not recommend this moving company for long distance move and have reserve about their mover/packing team for local move as well.  It started all nicely with Evan coming out to my house to give an estimate.  We confirmed our move with partial packing service and car transportation online smoothly a month prior to the move date.  Several days before the actual move 5/22, the team contact us and ask if we are using them to transport our vehicles when I thought everything was reserved a month ago.  Jakub then called around and was able to secure car transportation 2 days after the actual move day.  Fortunately I was still in town to wait for the cars to be picked up after my husband moved out of state first.  The auto transport company they contracted out was not responsive and difficult to get a hold off.  There were much delay and I was waiting the whole day until our cars were picked up at 8:30 PM (I have a flight out of Seattle with my kids the next day and wouldn't know what to do if the auto transport company did not show up to pick up the cars).   I paid for the movers to pack my kitchen and office but thought it was a waste of $.  I think I can packed better and more secure than those young guys in their 20s.  They just put my espresso machine and instant pot without any wrapping directly into a big box and use multiple packing paper to roll up a bottle of peppers.  I don't really get the rational behind this.  They don't wrap and protect the big things that are easily breakable and expense, but wrap small item like a bottle of garlic salt in plastic bottle with 2 large wrapping papers. Now onto the delivery of my furniture on the other end.  The driver/head mover who delivered my shipment was Dan.  He seems professional and knows what he is doing.  He looks at all the room and asked where we want everything to be place.  I thought, " Great! My thing is arriving!" But he was solo and where is his crew?  It appears that he contract a local group to help with the move.  3 guys (16yo, 18 yo and one in his 20s who is starting as a mover for the very first time) arrived to help with the move.  One of the kids are always on the phone and they were quite careless with my boxes and furniture. They made MULTIPLE HUGH scratches on my wooden floor in my new home.  They are not prepare and didn't even eat breakfast and asking me for protein bars and water.  2 guys stayed behind and were supposed to assemble the beds but could not locate the tools and screws.  So they just sat around and did nothing while Dan and one other guy went to get the remaining of my shipment.  Dan came back and said the rest of my shipment has not arrive and the parts/screws maybe still in transit.  He said he only have those guys for 5 hours and they are leaving.  I was left with no bed assemble to sleep in.  I dont mind sleeping on the floor but I have small kids and elderly in the house.  Dan returned the next day and the rest of the shipment and assembled all the bed by himself solo.  We found damaged such as decor and lamp that was packed by the movers.  They just dump all the misc items including my dyson v8 cordless in a big box without any protection.  One of my dyson ball vacuum was missing and never delivered (maybe someone stole it in transit) and 2 of my cushions of my L sectional are missing as well.  How are you suppose to use a sectional with 2 cushions missing?  My nightstand has multiple dens and scratches.  Dan took pictures of the damages and we sent him pictures of damaged items and wooden floor damages.  He said he will forward to his boss and they are waiting for a quote for the repair.  We email the Super friends moving company about all these issues and have not received any response for 1 week.  It has been almost 3 weeks since we moved in with all these damages and missing items.  Super friend moving company has not given me a response or reply. I messaged Jakub today and let's see if he will response.   I hope this review will be helpful to others so they dont have to go through the same distress we went through. read more

I decided to use SF moving again for a second move and what a mistake that was. The movers backed into a support pole for my driveway gate and snapped it. The movers let me know they had done it and apologized but said they would fix it before leaving. They did not end up fixing it and just left. I can understand that mistakes happen and they are busy. I contacted the company to report the issue and one of the owners came out to take a look. He acknowledged they had broken it and committed to fixing it. It has now been 6 months and I've sent 5 emails and left 3 messages and they just completely ghosted me. I also contacted my attorney and still may go through route. I am now stuck with a repair of over $1000 for a gate that broke before I spent one night in the house. Only giving 2 stars because the movers were fast and friendly. First, they were late and never called to say they were running late. Since we were the last appointment of the day, we really had no idea if they were going to show or not, especially as it got to be later and later and we never heard anything. (They finally responded after we left a VM, a message on FB, their website, and on Yelp.) The experience didn't really improve from there. The guys seemed nice and were friendly but were moving pretty slowly (I think because they'd had a big job before ours but also one guy was wearing a messenger bag the entire time?). It took some other movers (in another state) less than an hour to load the POD but it took this company almost three hours to unload. There wasn't a lot of room to stack boxes in our apartment but I would have thought they would have tried to stack them better, rather than just haphazardly in stacks so tall and unstable it looked like they might fall over at any moment. They also stacked our TV sideways despite the box saying not to all over it, but luckily it wasn't damaged. There was some damage to one of our bookshelves and our sofa but we can't prove it was this moving company (could have been the people who loaded it originally). Still, I saw how (not) careful they were being as they unloaded things, so who knows. I think the moral of the story is, try to be the first appointment any time you hire movers. Then there's no excuse to be late and/or tired. Honestly, I probably would have left a better review had they just CALLED to say they were running late in the first place. I'm a return customer, this was my second time using their services. The first time I used Super Friends to move was back in November with Jakub - they were fast, dependable, careful, hard-working and made sure nothing was missed. I would have recommended them to anyone. This time was different. Essentially they showed up three hours late and refused to take anything that was not a piece of furniture or in a cardboard box. I packed soft things like clothing and bedding in heavy duty garbage bags, had things like large house plants camping equipment that was all in bags, inflatable mattress, pantry food items in handled reusable shopping bags, some boxes without tops, a box that had any amount of liquor in it, all of which these movers refused to touch. Being on a weekend there was a four hour minimum on the move, however the full move only took two and a half hours because they only transported 40% of our stuff and now we're stuck figuring out how to move the rest ourselves. The guy said he would submit it to owner fro approval and I should hear back 24-48 hours. This was on a Tuesday at 10am. Do not use these movers. If they damage your home in the moving process, good luck trying to get them to take responsibility for their fault. Jakub, the owner, will not take any responsibility for his movers damaging your home and may even blame you for the damage. I hired them based on yelp reviews and similar pricing to other moving companies to move a piano. The movers damaged our wood floors while moving a baby grand piano into my house. While going down a step into our living room, I heard a loud crack. The movers moved the piano quickly down the step due to the weight of they piano, and at first I thought it was the piano cracking. At the time I was only worried about the movers not damaging the piano that I didn't even think to check the floor. After the movers left, I was vacuuming up the mess they made, and noticed that my wood floors were cracked at the seam where the nose ledge meets the rest of the wood floor. I called the office immediately after noticing the damage, about 30 minutes after the movers had left, and was told that Jakub, the owner would call me back the same day. A few hours go by and still no call back so I called again. Again I was told that jakub would call me back, but a few more hours go by and no call from Jakub, so I sent Jakub an email, late the same night, explaining what happened and photos of the damage. The next morning Jakub finally calls me, and I explained what had happened and he proceeded to tell me that my floors were probably damaged before the movers came. Mind you, Jakub has never been to my house. I even offered for him to come to my house and take a look at the damage but he refused and persisted to tell me that my floors were the problem. I didn't understand how he could base his argument on my floors being the problem when he's never set foot In my home. I told him that our home was 40 years old and has thick oak hardwood floors, not the cheap hardwood you find in newer homes these days, and there has never been a problem with the floors. He refused to accept any responsibility for his movers causing the damage. He just kept arguing with me and denying any fault and saying that the floors were damaged before. We just kept going around in circles and Jakub was being argumentative, unprofessional and hostile. There was no reasoning with him, so I told him that I was going to get an estimate from a flooring repair company to get my floors fixed, and see if it was really due to our floors being damaged before the movers came or if the damage was caused by the movers. Jakub also said that he would get someone to come out on his end to check out my floors and get his own estimate. He said that once he found someone, he would call me back. The next day, I got an estimate from a flooring repair company and the repairman said that the damage was caused by the movers and not because of our floors. His estimate came out to $1500 to repair, sand and stain the floors to its original condition. Have I heard back from Jakub? Of course not. After the conversations I had with him, did I think he was going to call me back and have someone come look at the damage, like he actually cared about his customers? No. I could already tell from our phone call and how he handled the situation that he's unethical, wasn't going to accept ANY responsibility, and it wasn't worth my time and effort to go after him in small claims. Even if I sent him the estimate that I got, there's no way In hell he would have been reasonable and paid for the damage his movers caused. He never even apologized. One thing I do know is that KARMA is a bitch and one of these days it'll catch up to him. read more

Honestly, I ended up cancelling my scheduled move with them due to the poor communication. I asked the manager for a COI and followed up multiple times with no response. I tried calling their phone number and the line automatically disconnects after an automated message without sending you to voicemail. Even after I cancelled my move through the website, I got an email saying my move was still scheduled. All of this without ever actually speaking to a human on the phone. We used these guys (highly recommended by friends) for a pack & move July 3rd. They broke our armoire (and a few other things). They said they would fix it and have it back in a week. July 24th, I ask them about it and they say it's ready and let's find a time to deliver. I reply immediately saying anytime after the following Monday. I then reply an additional 6 times. I start another email thread. I call and talk to the woman on the other end of the line 3 times. I leave voice mail. It's now been 2.5 MONTHS and as far as I can tell, they've stolen my $3000 armoire. DO NOT use these guys. They can't even call me to tell me they lost it. The armoire is worth more than the move cost. Contesting the charge on my credit card still hasn't gotten their attention. Do not use them. It's a nightmare. I'm living out of boxes more than two months later because it hasn't been resolved. I just want my armoire back. read more

I can't believe I haven't written a review! We moved back in April from SF to Seattle and Super Friends Moving made my life so much easier! Using a pod, the pod company wouldn't deliver to downtown Seattle. So I inquired if SFM could pick up from the pod warehouse in Kent and bring my items to downtown- they said no problem! Come the day of moving, we drove out to Kent to get our pod and SFM was right on time. It was rainy and I tried to help but they were adamant about me getting out of the rain while they moved all of my items out of the pod and into their truck. In under 30 minutes, we were off! I'm not sure how (cause I'm a speeder) but, they beat me to my apartment building and had already reversed into the loading zone by the time I got to the garage. I literally do not know how they beat me but I digress... I had the elevator booked and boxes organized by room and in under an hour, they managed to get my entire life up to the 20th floor. Dan and Ralph were energizer bunnies hit by a lighting bolt. They got things done fast and very nice guys to boot. None of my items of were broken. Highly recommended as they really try to pack things nice and try their best in getting things from point A to point B as safe and sound as possible. They called, confirmed, and arrived on time. These guys were amazing! Josh (estimator) was able to come earlier for my walk-through and was very professional and thorough. I got my estimate within 1 day and had my moved scheduled for a Friday. Something beyond my control popped up the day before my move and I had to reschedule. Thankfully they were able to get me in on Saturday. Although there was some miscommunication about their arrival time, Sam (crew lead) notified me when he discovered they were running behind and communicated with me every step of the way so I knew when they would get to me. It was a 2 man crew and they had to move me out of a 4th floor apt - going up/down 6 flights of stairs on a very hot day. They even let my 11 yr old son help them take some boxes downstairs and were super patient and nice to him! He loved helping them! Sam called in some reinforcements to meet us at my Burien home so the unloading included 4 guys. They were all so efficient, professional and courteous. They would ask me which boxes/furniture went in which room and made sure to be extra careful with everything - especially since I had just had new hardwood floors installed and the walls recently painted. They helped me set up some furniture including the beds so we were set up for the night. They even asked me if there was anything else I needed help with before they left - it was already 8:30pm! Super Friends. Yeah that's just about right. We'd had a fire a few months back and what wasn't taken from the house by the fire cleaners was dumped in my basement We needed a hero. We're hoping to sell the house and we're in the middle of moving. I've been steadily chipping away at it but it pretty much looked like a bomb hit it. I wanted someone to help move but I didn't want a traditional moving company who was going to expect everything neatly boxed and ready to go so I scoured Yelp for the right man for the job and Jakub and Super Friends fit the bill. When Jakub first showed up and saw our basement that was a jumble of boxes, trash and recycling he seemed very skeptical. We''d decided to rent to 2 10 foot trucks to save some money since they charge more to provide their truck. Jakub looked at the mess and joked that there must have been a 2 for 1 special at U Haull. But when I explained that one truck was for the dump and one for our storage space Jakub and his associate sprung into action. They cleared out our garage in under 2 hours and even offered to have one of them go to the dump which we'd planned on doing ourselves. The whole thing took about 3 hours. My friend used this Company and they "lost" many pieces of furniture (worth over $1,500) Not only that, but somebody else's furniture was mixed in! They promised they would look for the lost furniture but it's been a week now and no word back and they are completely unreachable. They must have blocked the number. Looking at other reviews, if anything goes wrong the owner Jakob completely ghosts and refuses to respond to calls and emails in order to address the issues that took place with the move. I knew I couldn't deal with Uhauls and moving myself yet again so I searched for the best movers around and got a few quotes. I'm just a studio sized girl with limited stuff but moving beds of any size sucks and leads to pulling my back out. Super Friends had the best prices and great reviews so I booked them. They only have a 2hr minimum for weekday jobs!! That's half of the standard 4hrs. My job was certainly perfectly squeezed into the 2hrs, thirty of that being drive time between apartments! Speedy movers. They're careful but not the kind that drag a job out to make another hour of billable time like I've had friend's groan about to me. The only snag was scheduling messed up my start time. I had a bit of a headache juggling my moving say schedule due to an hour discrepancy but all went well in the end. If there was a zero star rating that would be generous for this company. I had a positive experience using then the first time. The second time I could not believe who they sent to my place and what an incredibly terrible job they did. Every piece of furniture was damaged and the leather loveseat was scratched so bad it had to be disposed of. When I showed some of the damage to the moving crew, their response was..."Yep, that looks like it got scratched and damaged on the steps on the way up." Zero apology! I was shocked. They also damaged shrubbery and trees and literally picked up the branches and threw them off to the side. I could not believe it. As chaotic of a moving request I booked (moving two apartments, a storage unit and more), Super Friends somehow made the entire experience simple for me (probably because they are super heroes, haha). All the furniture made it in one piece, no scratches or damage, and better yet, none of the walls were scratched or marked up! I've never used a moving company before - I've managed to bribe friends with pizza and beer to help me, but this time I was moving on a weekday and most of my friends were working. A lady I work with told me about Super Friends--her daughter has used them a couple of times. I've heard moving horror stories, so I was a little nervous, but I didn't have much choice. Clint and Preston were great - they arrived on time and were quick and friendly, and the end cost was actually lowerethan the original estimate they gave me. I would say be organized and have everything ready to go before the movers get there. These guys were fast which made things go that much quicker. I had an overall satisfactory experience marred by a significant delay. The booking process was quick and simple, I was able to get a team reserved to help move furniture to my new apartment with only a week's notice. On the day of the move, the crew somehow wound up at the wrong address - I never got an explanation for what happened, but bottom line they were an hour late. The actual move went smoothly though. If you are able to pay cash definitely do it, they offer a nice discount! If not for the late arrival I would give 4 stars. I do still recommend checking them out! We opted to go with Super Friends Moving due to their excellent reviews, quick response time and reasonable pricing. We will use them in the future because of their incredible work, friendly demeanor and gentle care with our items. James, Eric and Tony were incredibly punctual, and they arrived ready to work. We thought our sweet pup would be ok hanging out on the balcony for a bit, but she went into a panic. Immediately, the guys said it would be ok for her to come inside and meet them to calm her down. She was howling her head off, and they handled her with love and patience. I took our howling pupper off to the park, and they got to work while my husband stayed behind. I kept receiving text messages about the incredibly proficient work they were doing, and apparently they talked about gaming and sci-fi enough that my hubby was a little bummed when the day was over. Our new home is up a private, pretty narrow road, and we were a little nervous about access. Apparently, it was no problem for these pros. Also, they let us know that we could get a 10% discount if we paid in cash, so I made a quick trip to bank. In the end, we came in well within our quote, and in fact, on the low side. One of the unexpected benefits they offer is the option to remove unwanted furniture starting at $50. They work with many local charities and help take those items to somewhere where they can be re-purposed and loved for a VERY reasonable rate. I hope that I won't be moving again for many, many years, but when I do, Super Friends will be my first call. I have already sung their praises to anyone who will listen. TL;DR - Friendly, professional, dog-friendly guys who are crazy fast, organized and gentle with your things. Single best decision we made in terms of our move. read more

June 20, 2018 Great semi-long distange move last week (Seattle to Anacortes) with Super Friends Moving. Communication was good, beginning with Craig's estimate a few months earlier, then a few emails with Jakub & Gabe in the office. The packers who came the day before our move arrived on time & were pleasant & efficient - they used our boxes & packing supplies, which we found for free on a neighborhood list. On moving day James, Robert, CJ & Josh arrived on time and dove in! They were a great crew - skilled with tight corners & careful with our stuff. Plus they were amiable & worked hard. All in all, thanks to Super Friends Moving, it was as pain-free as a move can be. Highly recommend this company. read more

Moving service was fine, they wrap everything to prevent damage. My poor experience was when they refused to use the opener for the garage at the new apartment (downtown so garage had to be secured while taking boxes up to unit) so they texted me and asked me to come sit outside in the alley and monitor the garage. When a man under-the-influence entered and started snooping in the garage they ignored him and I had to be the one to confront him. I emailed the owner after and gave him the opportunity to fix the situation before I wrote a review and he stood by their decision. All-in-all I wouldn't pay a premium ($550 for a studio unit move 2miles) to be required to spend my day sitting in the alley rather than relaxing while they do they work I hired them to do. read more

I'll start by saying that i've never used movers before. but, if i have to use them again, i'd definitely use Super Friends. these guys rock! we used them to move from out Ballard apartment (3rd floor, no elevator) to our new house in Kent. first off, they're a very friendly crew. i just figured there would be a weird silence with an occasional question while we watched them move our stuff. nope. they're very personable and we even had a few laughs. don't get the impression that they just chat though. they work really hard. honestly, I have no idea how they managed to get our giant couch down the stairs without scuffing up the walls, but they did. they're actually so quick and efficient, they ended up moving a couple boxes of stuff we were going to donate. oh well, that's what we get for not clearly marking the box. and don't worry, we still donated the stuff. i'd definitely use these guys again. oh, and don't forget the 10% discount for paying in cash! read more

My search for movers didn't take long. So glad these guys were recommended to me! These guys helped with my last two moves. My first move was a bit complicated involving furniture pick-up from two different locations. They quoted me a very reasonable flat rate and did a great job navigating in and out of a two story condo and three story townhome using only stairs. I was stressed out about it but these guys were so professional and super quick. The second move was just five minutes apart and they moved all my furniture anything else they could grab all in under an hour. Impressive! Beware that if you choose the hourly rate route that the minimum required hours are different on weekday vs weekends. read more

We used Super Friends three years ago and the service was great. We needed to recently move again so I wanted to use Super Friends again. We entered into a contract with a date certain for the move. This was about 45 days prior to our move. About 15 days prior to the move, I started leaving voice mail messages at the only contact number. I left over four voice mail messages asking to confirm that the movers would move us on the agreed date. No return phone calls. I sent at least three email messages to the company asking for confirmation. No response. Because the lack of any communication, I sent an email message cancelling the service. To the credit of the Super Friends, it refunded our $100 deposit. We hired another mover with great results for less money than estimated by Super Friends. It is my guess that the company is about out of business. Don't use this mover. read more

We chose SFM not only because their price was best, but because they made suggestions for work we could easily do on our own to save money. We were pleasantly surprised today that not only was our move completed on time, by a hard working crew, but it was under the estimate. We highly recommend SFM.
