Noticed this Restaurant opened up recently and have been meaning to try it . Walking in it's nicely decorated, very clean with lots of seating options . Really love the high seating by the windows . The cashier was friendly. The menu is pretty great with both Thai and Chinese options . I Ordered the pork fried rice combo with chicken wings . Love that they have a lot of flavor options for the wings but but I opted for plain and an order of crab Rangoon . The chicken is Crispy and tasty the pork fried rice is a bit bland in flavor but looks good nothing soy sauce / salt can't fix . The crab Rangoon has all the makings of being really good except it lacks any flavor or visibility of crab meat more like cream cheese Rangoon with specks of red dots which I assume is minced crab which is almost undetectable in taste. But love the chewy and crispyness and shape of the fried wonton . I wish it was served with a duck sauce other than sweet and sour ( although I didn't ask so next time I will ) Looking forward to trying more on their Menu located in the Walmart shopping center plenty of parking read more

This place is delicious and they're very keen on paying attention to delivery notes which is totally rare these days! The Mongolian beef - delicious not too sweet like most places but sweet. I can't say the cuts are the best but very fresh and tasty Kung Pao - this is pretty good, chicken is sliced not bad at all I'd get it again. Wasn't too sweet and more savory Szechuan chicken - this tasted very similar to the kung pao chicken so I feel like whatever you order Hunan, sxzechuan, Kung pao will all be the same base Hot & sour soup - this was a pretty good hot and sour soup very fresh and not old tasting or bits of corn starch globs like some places. SERVICE: it was so difficult to communicate with someone in placing the order. The phone line sounded muffled. Later I was shocked to find a you looking child at the main cash register. The food was ready and hot. FOOD: for ~9.50, the price wasn't terrible but it was not the best tasting for me. The chips with the soup were stale. The soup was incredibly salty. The kung pao had big size shrimp and the fried rice was amazing! The steamed rice was also good. The eggrolls were really big and stuffed nicely, they come with the combos. We also ordered honey shrimp which I didn't expect to be crispy but was really good, it came with a dipping sauce and it made it a lot better but good without as well. Finally the general tsos chicken was something I was really looking forward to, I loved the way it was crunchy and sweet. Really good Chinese food! It's family run I think but the teen who took my order was nice enough. I took too long in Walmart so my food was ready when I got back. By the time I got home and ate it was lukewarm but still tasted good. Wow. I was most impressed by the 100A health score. We eat out lots and it's RARE to see a 100! I was searching for some Chinese food that was along my route home and chanced upon Soho. I was hesitant with only 2 reviews, but they were positive so I decided to stop by. Fantastic decision on my part! The location next to Kohls in a non-descript shopping center is the only downside. I frequently visit the Walmart nearby and I had no idea this place was even here! I always order a smattering of my favorite dishes when I first try a place so I can get a quick idea of the menu. In this case, I ordered boneless ribs(which not every Chinese place even offers, so that is a huge plus), Wonton soup, Crab Rangoon, pork fried rice, and eggroll. Everything was, no lie, the best Chinese food I've had in years! I've got 2 local Chinese places I've been going to, and Soho blows both of them away! The Crab Rangoon has a smooth, creamy filling with the perfect crispness to the dough. Also, they shape it in a triangle. Other places shape it like a money sack tied at the top, which causes too much over fried dough that crumbles when eating it, and not enough filling. I love this arrangement! The Wonton soup has dumplings filling the wontons(not every Chinese place does this either, giving you just the wonton noodles and no filling, which I don't like). The eggroll was great! It was crispy fried perfectly, with a good assortment of fillers, and didn't come apart when I was eating it. The boneless ribs were soft and moist, and the sauce was fantastic! The fried rice had big pieces of fluffy egg(can't remember the last time I experienced that!) and perfectly cooked rice. They also give you a choice when ordering a combo of plain fried rice, or fried rice with pork shrimp or chicken added in. This is a first for me, as most places only give you plain fried rice for the side. I like pork fried rice, so I am usually forced to order pork fried rice as a meal to act as my "side". All in, again, no lie, the best Chinese food I've had in as long as I can remember! I must return soon to try some more of my favorites! Highly recommend! read more

I'll start by saying I don't normally eat from Chinese food restaurants in a plaza because their food and services are usually not very good. I can say that I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the small space, it was clean and there was hand sanitizer everywhere. That was a huge plus. The lady at the counter was actually smiling and pleasant. We ordered two lunch specials and were told to wait 10 mins. They delivered as promised. The food was fresh, served at the correct temperature and tasty. The only complaint I have is that they put way too much sauce on the rice so I wasn't able to eat half of it; it became a soup. Should I be in the area and in the mood for Chinese food, I would definitely go there again with specific instructions for the amount of sauce. read more
