Andrew & Kayla (Kay) killed it. When my prearranged mover bailed on my Penske unload two days in a row, I had enough and called Super Good Movers. Phone operator was great - she took my info and said she'd try to get me someone ASAP. She called me back quickly to confirm, and Andrew & Kayla showed up within 2 hours!!! They knocked out the unloading in 90 minutes on a 100-degree day in late July and did a great job handling all my things. They carefully observed a couple of my building's policies about the lobby and elevator use. Very pleased - would recommend! read more

Super Good Movers. Not so good. I specifically asked for a truck with liftgate & pallet jack. Truck arrived at last minute without liftgate without pallet jack. SGM, Ms. C: I didn't charge you the pallet jack. Me: Then you agree not to charge for something you don't provide. Then deduct the liftgate truck you didn't provide. SGM, Ms. C: I provided a truck. No refund, no discount. Me: You didn't provide the two things I needed most. You charged me $145/hr. 2 hr. minimum + $70 for the truck, total $365 (+ tip for workers that saved us both from a big lawsuit.) I told you I passed on "U"biquitous at $29.98 for 6 hrs. for a 15' truck with low deck and ramp + .89/mile (less than 4 miles) because they didn't have liftgate or pallet jack. You said you had these items. Reader: If you sign up for the NBA Playoffs Special, big Screen, etc., but they provide a 24" screen, you expect a refund or discount. They are not a serious company, they will lie, and extort money out of you when it comes time to unload your precious cargo. They damaged a lot of my furniture (antiques and designer European furniture), and offered 120 for what was thousands of dollars in damage. Save yourself the headache and heartbreak of seeing your furniture trashed by incompetent movers. I selected them originally because they were in range with what other moving companies had quoted, but David actually came to see the house to assess the cost of the move, which gave me confidence... How wrong I was to trust him. I paid over $16,000 for the move, they did the packing, and were supposed to produce an inventory that I never saw, when confronted about missing things, they claimed they were not inventoried. When things were damaged they claimed that they were that way before, or that I had packed them, which are both lies. They packed everything in the house with the exception of jewelry and documents. If I can give them zero I would. My son's book bag was stolen with his school computer. I thought it was odd that one of the workers made it a point to give me one of my laptops and then I saw him rummaging through my bags. He knows where I stay and I've been nervous ever since. They couldn't find the stand to my mirror. Found it two days later wrapped in cloth in my son's room. Overcharged and told it was due to the holiday and personnel. That was never mentioned and an estimate wasn't given like they said. Used them before and paid $1600 for 4 bedrooms and paid $2056 for 3 bedrooms and a less living room furniture. read more

In planning our move from one side of town to another, I hired Super Good Movers. They took my $50 non-refundable deposit, and then I made the mistake to not research the company enough! My gut instinct finally told me to do some research. After I read the many many negative reviews, on Yelp, and Google, the reviews made my hair stand on end! I immediately called and canceled. We moved at the end of March 2023 and we had an appointment but they showed up two hours late. We asked for a discount for the inconvenience but they told us we couldn't because we already had a discount. So whatever we dropped it but when we got to our new home while they were unloading our things they broke multiple items! One of the drivers told us he could fix it but obviously it would look the same so we called their customer service and said we could do a claim.so we did but on the form it said it could take 90 days which we thought was ridiculous.we calculated $720 for all the items damaged finally they sent us a settlement offer but it was for a lousy $34!! Saying because we didn't get extra insurance this place sucks and I highly recommend you don't do business with this place if you care about your things!! Many of my items arrived broken. A chair snapped in half as did a set of speaker towers. Others never arrived to my new home at all, including an expensive kitchen appliance packaged in its original box. Instead, I received odds and ends belonging to someone else. When I notified Super Good Movers, they did not seem to care. They offered me 60 cents per pound of lost items even though it is clear that they mismanaged my move and likely sent my belongings to someone else. They were also unpredictable. We were told our things would be delivered in between 2 and ten days from pickup. It took over two weeks. I could be patient, but everytime I called I got a different estimated day so it was impossible to make plans. The experience was so poor that next time I will drive the moving truck eleven hours myself. read more

I did have good communication with the girls in the office, but once I complained I never heard back from them or got an apology for the guys costly mistakes. I hired them because they were the only affordable ones and didn't make you get your own truck like other companies. The guys were 1 hour and 40 minutes late. They do make you sign a waiver saying they are not responsible for damaged items. Well when we got to our new place, it was very windy that day. Instead of waiting for the wind to die down, they attempt to unload the 80 inch tv and end up dropping it! We were so pissed because all the guy said was sorry, but in away that he didn't mean it! So then later on the next day we discovered that they stole our weights! We sure as hell don't leave them in the other apartment. The girls reached out wanting to know how everything went, I told them and of course they didn't respond! Always believe that saying: you get what you pay for! The refuse to compensate me for the damage as promised by their employee nor do they feel they need to reimburse me for goods and surfaces not performed. I am now pursuing legal action. If there was a way to give them less than one star, I would. On a very simple move (three miles), that included one month of storage while our new home was being completed, our furniture was damaged, parts missing from the bed frame so we couldn't use it (had to go to Denver Mattress and buy a new one) and we ultimately found items that belonged to another client mixed in with our stuff. I contacted the claims manager, Jesus Estrada, on 12/30/21 via email and he replied that someone call us to come pick up the items but as of today, nobody has come to get the items. We also sent pictures that showed the name and address of the person the items belong to. This is the worst operation I've ever used. I might add the even during 10 years in the Navy and several moves under PCS orders I've never had our furniture and personal belongings treated this way. The dirt and damage was terrible. read more

Updating last review. I had to call every single day (5 consecutive days) in order to receive the information they told me they were going to provide me with. I asked to speak with a supervisor or owner of the company and have yet to hear from them. They asked us to file a claim regarding the damages to our furniture and stolen item which resulted in NOTHING. Apparently, my cousin hired the same company and also had multiple items stolen. They were right on time at 8am, which meant a lot since the temperature was 104 F this day. The movers were very polite but struggled to take the couch out of the den and then were frustrated. They did do a great job with timing, I'm glad it didn't take longer than it should have. The pricing was pretty good for peak time which was a Saturday. I did notice when they reassembled my table, the legs were a lot looser and there was a scratch on my bed post that is noticeable. But other than that I have no other complaints. I paid $240 for 2 1/2 hours plus a $40 deposit for gas. I was a bit dissatisfied with the price for gas since my move was only 5 miles away. PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING THESE GUYS. Well I would have given these guy s the hightest marks until I unpacked some of our stuff. We have moved several times and this was the second time we used super good movers, the first time was when they first started and then again in 2021. They worked really hard and I really felt bad for them, they were trying so hard and then it was in the hot sun. The move ran late, the office closed and they wanted there money. I understand this however, they couldn't run my card and it wouldn't pass for some reason and they would not wait till the next day. The problem was nothing but Super good was not putting in the correct information to charge my account the bank had a lock on my bank account due to fraudulent actions that they noticed I had to pay super good $2500 and the guy in charge wanted their money, I understand that but since I couldnt withdraw the amount due to a cap of $400 on my ATM I told them Id write them a check. The guy in charge called the office, they refused to take a check so I said I dont know what to do you guys dont want to wait one day. So he said hey go to walmart and buy something and ask for cashback. I told him I dont need anyything right now he said just buy a pack of gum and take out $100 everytime until we reach the amount. I couldnt believe what they wanted to do, man were they desperate, he turned so unprofessional, but I did what he asked. so I bought 25 top Ramen noodles buying one at a time and withdrawing $100 dollars each time it took forever. I paid him there money. Then after a while I noticed I overpaid $100 and it was weird because I noticed the supervisor that was with me brightened up after it was all over he was super happy, not tired like he was before we started at walmart. I had the proof of overpayment,I had the copy of the withdraws at walmart as proof, and the copies of the receipts. They denied it and said they had only charged me $2500 I said he kept $100 he wasnt going to tell anybody especially the manager remember i had the proof i overpaid, the manager didnt care. So they refused to reimburse me, they even charged me about $64 per box cuz they didnt want to use the ones I had from gathering boxes and they said they used around 24 of them, they only used 6 Uhaul boxes, so i was overcharged for 18 of them. The didnt care. Thirdly one of them took some collector toys I had of Paul Stanley of kiss, and some other toys I had. I know they did it because I had the whole collection and only that one doll was missing. I had just finished pricing them for the renter's insurance I had bought at that time. they were really good and hardworking in the beginning, but they lost it somewhere along the way. It sad because I took so much care of my collectors toys to leave to my daughter in hopes they would be worth something. it sad that they took the highest priced toy and left the rest. read more

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT hire this company for your move under any circumstances. First, they refused to provide me with the time when the movers would show up even on the day of the move itself. When the movers arrived, they were very unfriendly and incompetent. The movers were not professional at all and did not wrap my furniture and did not have any tools to take apart my furniture. Furthermore, they struggled to move items and at times I had to move and carry stuff with them. Consequently, they stained my mattress and sofas by dragging it on the ground. Also, they lost the screws necessary for my expensive bed frame; hence it could not be reassembled. When I called customer service, the receptionist hung up on me, and then Karla berated and yelled at me very aggressively. She made it clear that she was treating me this way because I am not Hispanic and will not consider the damages to my items. I called days before I needed my stuff moved into my apartment. The time came no call no show, just to get told they got another job and tried to reschedule me for two days after. The guy was completely unprofessional and stopped answering text messages when needed answers. A complete waste of time and a day. No I do not recommend these people or their businesses because they use the business to scam people, steal from them and damage their property. I They severely over charged me unpurpose, tried really hard to get me to let them do my long distance move and I was adamant about them NOT moving me long distance when the owner David Arellano came to to my quote for a LOCAL move he did it for a long distance move only. He then had the quote at $3,500 WITHOUT a auto transport but I still said I would not let them move me to my new destination city, I said local only until I was ready to do my long distance move. The cam to my apartment to do the local move and the movers took their sweet time when 95% of my things were already packed and should've been loaded on the truck, this should've taken 3 hours from start to finish loading and unloading from the apartment to the storage unit I had unfortunately they decided to hijack my property had it for 1 1/2 months when a police detective warned them I was still going to be pursuing the county attorney's office to take my case to which they decided to give back my property but only not all my of property. So far some is not accounted for because I have as not able to go through everything to see and check to see if I had everything, I video recorded from beginning to end and found a lot of tremendous damage to my containers, I was supposed to have 4AC window units and only saw 3 and those 3 window units are severely damaged. I was looking for my clothes that I had in certain containers that revealed that they were no longer packed to the top with my clothes and only half full so some if not most of my clothes were stolen. The new delivery men were horrible and treated me very badly to to point my picture was taken while I was in my wheelchair, called a KAREN and the accused me of scamming them!!! I am still going to pursue the county attorney to have the owner, manager and all of the mover's involved in hijacking my things, going through my things and stealing stuff and then deliberately damaging my property!!! I even brought 2 peoples as witnesses and we ended up putting the rest of my things in the storage unit and one of my witnesses is a 71 year old woman. PLEASE WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT EVER USE TJIS COMPANY especially if you value your property this company scams people, damages our and things and steals from us especially our money because they way overcharge us!!! If I could give Super Good Movers more than five stars, I would. They're not only the best movers I've ever hired, their customer service is second to none for most businesses I've ever encountered. I'm grateful for a job well done. My mother passed away several months ago, and we lost the house due to miscommunication over the reverse mortgage. We were given no more than 48 hours notice to be out of the house. The sheriff's department hadn't provided us with any previous notice even though they claimed they had. Without going into too much detail, within 15 hours of calling Super Good Movers, they had drivers lined up and they moved out the contents of a house where four people lived for more than 42 years in just under 5 hours. They put everything in storage for me. What made this really tough is I live here in Washington, DC and the house is in El Paso. I had to trust they'd do the job right. I was worried, but they got the job done. Special shout out to Keira for the amazing job she did. If they ever want a letter of recommendation or a testimonial for their business, I'm there for them! Horrible. Unreliable. Untruthful. And deliberately avoided my calls. I scheduled movers for a Saturday morning at 9am-10am. I was charged a $40 deposit which I paid beforehand. At 10:15am, I called for a status. They claimed I never made a reservation at first, but once I confirmed they charged me, they later claimed my reservation was for the following week. I told them I had carpet cleaners coming at noon. They told me they would arrive at 11:30am. At 11:50am, I called and they said they would be there shortly. At 12:20pm, I called again, but no one answered. I immediately called with a different phone and was answered immediately. They said they would call me back. They didn't. I called back at 12:40pm and again they ignored my call. I called with a different phone and they told me they were arriving. They arrived at 12:45pm. By then, my family (father recovering from surgery, injured brother and injured mother), had come to help me move most of my stuff. I'm recovering from back surgery and couldn't do move myself. They came and moved my bed and drawers. Were done in 5 minutes. I was still charged $130 and they kept my $40 deposit. A total of $170. Horrible. Never use. read more

This was my first time hiring movers and it was the actual worst experience. The sales person convinced me to hire the service by telling me my stuff would arrive to Austin on a Wednesday. On Wednesday, I didn't receive a call or confirmation or anything, instead, I had to call them *several* times to get an update. By then, she said I would receive everything by Friday morning. Friday morning comes and I'm trying to get a hold of them from my cellphone -- no response. After 3 tries, I called from my mom's phone and finally a response. They told me that it would actually arrive on Saturday morning. I was upset at this point so I left it. I called that same Friday afternoon to get a time for delivery and still no response from my phone, no response from my mom's phone so I tried from my brother's phone. Finally a response. They told me it wouldn't actually arrive on Saturday, nobody knew anything, and instead it would arrive until the next Wednesday. Why didn't anybody tell me anything? Why am I always calling for updates? Monday comes and I call for an update, is my stuff actually arriving Wednesday or do I need to change my plans again? Finally they tell me Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning. Today is Tuesday and, again, I have to call for updates on what time the movers will arrive etc. I get the contact info for the people handling the delivery, at 9 pm they tell me they will arrive in 2 hours. It is now 1 in the morning and I work at 8 and this man is outside my apartment spam calling me until I answer saying "I need to get this off the truck NOW". SIR, IT IS 1 IN THE MORNING AND 4 HOURS AGO YOU SAID YOU'D BE HERE IN 2 HOURS. It wasn't ALL bad though, they did package everything nicely and delivered my stuff in the condition I left it in, so that was really nice. TL;DR sales people gave me a timeline only to get my business, but when time came to deliver, they postponed 4 times, kept dodging my calls and had to change phones so they would answer me and give me updates. Movers delivered at 1 am and demanded they deliver right then and there. Very unsatisfied, the worst customer service I've EVER had and trust me, I'm not a Karen. read more

Hired these guys to help load a 26 foot uhaul truck to move our Pastor up to Ill. They showed up smoking cigs and walked right into the house. After asking them to put the cigs out , Carlos copped a serious attitude. Half way thru the 4 hour job Carlos went to the van and had a 15 minute break smoking. When he got back , the other guy did the same. I asked Carlos if he would bring me the book shelf , he began swearing loudly at me using the F word and slammed the shelf around saying let me do my F-ing job etc. The shelf sustained damage , which Super good movers offered me 60 cents a pound for the 25# teak bookshelf that cost $250.00. I have had nothing but problems with this company since moving day. First, 2 high priced items went missing from the initial address, that were not packed and told not to touch. Still haven't found them after 2 weeks. And no follow up from them regarding this issue with multiple times of me contactMing them. Then after they had already started loading I get a call saying I have to pay more beca we have way more boxes then they estimated. I told them I put on my inventory list that I had no clue as to how many boxes I would have but knew their estimate was off. Plus lady who gave estimate said that wouldn't be an issue, that I wouldn't have to pay if it ended up being more. Obviously that was a lie. Then on delivery day at the new place many items are damaged, boxes mangled, pieces missing to things. They came in with a box sprin and king if I didn't have a mattress to go with it. Ummm, yes I have a nice mattress with it. So they finally bring it in. Left someone else's package here. It's obvious they didn't label ever, and somehow got my stuff mixed up with someone else's. Which isn't supposed to happen. Still trying to get a hold of them regarding all of this. Not finished unpacking everything yet, but can't find a lot of specific things. These are the most unprofessional movers. My property was new before hiring them and arrived not only late, but completely destroyed. My flat screen arrived broken, expensive vacuum broken in half, and mattress was filthy, among other things damaged as well. They ask for flexibility, but they don't mention arriving into your neighborhood at 12am. In addition, they lost some of our belongings and refused to pay for them. They do not pick up the phone and when they do they don't help at all. Instead they promise to return your call, but never do. Finally after getting in touch with the "manager" they offered to pay $150 to cover for all damages. That doesn't cover half of my items. If you want to avoid losing all of your furniture, I warn you! Do not hire these people! Save yourself money and time. It's been 2 months and nothing has been taken care of. read more

This was definitely our worst move experience, and we've moved many times for the military. This was an in-town move. The biggest problem was the inaccurate estimate from the front office. It's almost as if they were baiting us. We decided to go with this company because their hourly rate plan seemed like we would come within the ballpark of a couple flat rates we got, and their estimated time to complete. Well, when the movers showed up, there was a third person. They said it would be an extra $100 for the initial charge, and the charge for every 30 min went up as well. So, we only decided to keep the third person because we hoped it would speed things up. As it was, the move took a couple hours longer than expected (even though we had everything ready to go and most everything packed), so it cost us twice as much as we budgeted, and almost three times the flat rate options! And, they didn't even get everything in their truck, which they said they would. My wife and I had to load up our master bedroom furniture in our minivan and make two trips just to get it over! Then we had to hire another person to pick up the rest of our property the next day (even more money spent). The movers themselves did a pretty good job, although they did show up 1.5 hours late. One of the first things they asked was if they did a good job if there would be a tip! Other than that, they were friendly and easy to work with. They did a fairly good job with the furniture. There was some minor damage. Some dings and small scratches, but so far we haven't found anything to complain to the company about or get reimbursed for. The only thing is that the movers were not very courteous in their actions at times. They saw one of our kids Halloween candy in a pumpkin bucket and asked my wife if they could have some. My wife is very nice and said sure they could have a little bit. Well, at the end of the move when she looked at that bucket again (which was almost full to begin with), it was almost empty!! Who does that?! They ate almost all of my kids Halloween candy that they picked up the night before trick or treating! Likewise, my wife offered a little lunch and drinks for them, which they graciously accepted. And they definitely knew what was offered and what wasn't. Well, my wife put out a Lunchable pack for herself on the table, which she didn't get to start eating right away. When she came back, the meat and cheese was missing out of the pack! Also, when getting something out of the pantry, she found a pack of Pringles, open and empty sitting in there. So, obviously, my wife gave them an inch to keep them fed and happy, but they took a mile! This definitely did not hurt us financially in any way, or damage our furniture, etc., but it was irritating and just makes you mad that they did those things. We sure do wish we had gone with the couple flat rate options we had instead!! read more

I would advise all not to waste their time with these movers. My wife and contracted them to move us and not only did they show up late but really elongated their job. What was worse is 2 days later after being in our dream home, our $5,000 bed collapsed at 1AM as we slept. Upon further review, these idiots only used 3 screws when the bed required 6 and never mentioned this to my wife or I. You would think any owner with half a brain would address this but you would be wrong. I called the office that morning and I was assured some movers would be at our home between 4-5 PM that day. Just like the missing screws from the bed, they were missing too when the time went by. Again, I would figure I would be the first call the staff made the following morning with an apology and letting me know I was first on the list to be seen. I was wrong again and all I got was excuses. After that my wife and fixed our beloved bed and dealt with unprofessional company. I feel for their receptionists Deborah and Lilly because they had to take my calls while the owner hid behind them. Not once stepping up and calling me he would send his messages through these ladies. His final offer was to refund us $50 and $100 in future credits if we move. I had been in my previous home for 21 years and I seriously doubt this fool will be around much longer. Save your money and your headaches. Call Move West or anybody else in El Paso. This company should not exist and beware of this story. Accidents do happen, although if I had seen missing screws or knew I assembled a bed incorrectly I would have said something, but they way this company acted afterwards made it clear it was not an accident. Absolutely THEEE WORST COMPANY! I own a business and I can assure you they will not be successful. I understand if something happens and you cannot make it at the time you promised but communication is key. When someone is expecting you and you tell them you are on your way and simply just not show up? Now that is unacceptable. They left us waiting 4 hours with our truck and never came.
