Worst Haircut I have ever received. Went in for a basic cut and it took me two hours to successfully get one. The hairdresser charged me extra to straighten my hair which was only done due to her lacking the skill to successfully blow dry my hair. Despite being there for so long, the hairdresser only split my hair into two sections and carelessly cut my hair. Following the use of HAIR CLIPPERS to even out my hair, I still walked out with a jacked up cut and a lot less money in my pocket. Would never recommend this salon to anyone especially if they have curly hair!! read more

I just visited this place for the first time for a pedicure. The prices are pretty good- some other nail salons in the immediate area are a bit more - although I was a bit unclear on the differences between the various levels of pedicures from reading the descriptions. I sprang for the mid level one ($40) and next time will probably try the basic level (I think it was $25 or $30) to see what the difference is. The woman who did my pedicure was very friendly and did a great job. Wonderful foot/leg massage, and my calluses are pretty much gone. The place is very clean and nicely decorated, and the massage chairs seemed to be brand new and were awesome. I was able to walk in on a weekday afternoon and get started right away. Worst manicure ever! Chipped after only 24 hours. I got a manicure pedicure combo and it was so rushed! I had an appointment and I was done in about 30 minutes for both. It was like the tech was in a huge hurry and did my "manicure" while I was in the pedicure chair. With so many other options, I won't go back. First and last visit. read more

I have been to this place multiple times and have had a different bad experience every time I have come. The staff is extremely rude, and I also noticed about three times that they tried charging me different prices for the same service. When I had my work clothes on with my purse, they tried telling me that my acrylic fill was $10 more than what I normally pay when I wore leggings and a sweat shirt. They have consistently mocked me and made me (along with my other family members) feel very uncomfortable while getting our nails done. I do not recommend this place at all!!! Went here for a dip powder manicure. Do not recommend. I originally left with my nails wet (which should never happen with a dip manicure) and my cuticles were a mess. I did go back a couple hours later and she was nice and cleaned up the cuticles for me. She huffed the nails and added a clear top coat which I then had to cure under the UV light - which also shouldn't happen with dip and is partly while I now do dip over gel. It's now Tuesday (nails were done Saturday) and then clear gel coat is peeling off leaving dull polish behind. Needless to say, I will not be returning! read more

I'm cheap when it comes to haircuts because my hair grows so fast, it's not worth it to spend a ton when it's grown out in a few weeks. Haircuts here are only $20, $25 with a blow dry, yet they actually do a really amazing job. I've had appointments with several different girls and I'm never disappointed. I love getting my hair layered and they always do a great job with that, and listen to what I want. They're all really sweet and friendly, which is a bonus. It may not be the most updated or prestigious salon but they do a great job for a reasonable price. read more

I've been going to super hair and nails in Cromwell for awhile because it's clean, people are nice and overall service has been great but I went to get my nails done the week they opened and went on 6/17/2020 a week and a half later one nail fell off and most of my other nails were starting to lift up. This has never happened and I normally hate complaining because they normally they are great. But today I went in 6/29/2020 to get them fixed. When I got there, they were nice as usual and said that I would need a refill and the reason why my nails were lifting up was because I washed my hands a lot and the water got under my nails... fast forward and they ended up charging me $37 (this includes tax) to get a REFILL it costed me $45 to get a full set. The lady claimed to give me a $8 discount so either way I paid for a full set instead of just a refill. I am very upset and will not be returning to this salon. read more

Not expensive barber shop. I spend more in other places and truly service was the same or worst. However I am easy going and have one style of haircut with exception in summer. Then I am cut my hair really short. No much work for them. Girls are polite. Easy access from the highway. Quick and reliable service. read more

I have tried this nail salon 3 times, the 1st time was an okay experience, except a friend that I went with had asked for something that was included in the pedicure she paid for and was told by the employee that she didn't need it even after my friend told her she wanted it. If it is included in the cost then if should have been done no questions asked. 2nd time we go and we have appointments for 4 of us for pedicures, 3 of us in the group were started at the same time while the 4th person sat because a regular who did not have an appointment walked in. We were all done before the 4th person in our group had even been started on. Not to mention while we were there 2 other people came in that had appointments and were told that they would have to wait 30 - 45 minutes. Now I went this past Saturday without an appointment and I waited for over an hour, which is fine because I didn't have an appointment but I watched 2 people walked out because they had appointments and they were going to have to wait and one of the appointments was a young girl whose appointment was at 11:00 am and at 11:20 am she was still waiting in the pedicure chair, her mom came in to ask how much longer and she was told at least 30 minutes, it is prom season and I do not know if this particular girl was going to prom but what a shame if she was!!! Now my nails are horrible I got the dip power, the girl that did my nails put a ridiculous amount of dip powder on my nails it was all over the place including my clothes and to top it off I told her several times I wanted my nails square and they are far from square and they are shaped horribly and not even straight. I had high hopes for this place the atmosphere is nice and the people are nice however the customer service and service provided is horrible. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

Not happy with their work. Showed them a picture for the hair color I wanted which wasn't hard to do. They didn't even tell me they were going to bleach my hair and did. Then when the dye was out I had bright brown patches everywhere. I asked them to fix it and they fixed it by spraying temporary black hair dye which makes no sense because I wanted light brown hair. My roots were still black while my ends were barely brown. And I told them to fix it and Jenny said it's like ombré but too bad I never asked for ombré. No one even noticed my hair was dyed afterwards. They told me the day before that t would be 65 and then the day of after they dyed it they said 105. Who does that? Not only that they dropped the dye on the ground and used a towel to clean it up. After they washed my hair they picked up that dirty towel off the ground to clean the dye off my ears and neck. I'm sorry but Jenny the owner and the lady who did my hair had no idea what they were doing and to save themselves they kept trying to persuade me it looked so nice. Don't go here for hair color. The WORST place you could ever go to. I asked for a BOB which I already had but it was a bit long. OMG! She ended up giving me a freakin' pixie. When I showed my disgust and anger all she had to say was "back have nice layers". The sides are blunt cut and the bangs are maybe a half an inch long. REALLY? This place is gross and very dirty. I went there because I was told they do good work. I should have known this place has issues when I looked at the floor and there was hair everywhere. The work station was disgusting. She used a razor on me, that should have given me a clue. There were 2 pairs of scissors on her work station table and both had black hair stuck to them.(I'm a blonde) Then she was rummaging in the drawer for a comb and blew it with her blow dryer. I'm going to stop by there tomorrow to see if "Lynn" even has a license. Then a call to the health department. Look at the reviews, the only one for 2016 is a male. They probably only know how to butcher cuts with no style. All the other reviews are from 2014 and earlier. GROSS! DISGUSTING! UNPROFESSIONAL! NO TALENT! Don't go there.
