This Food4Less location just happened to be one of the nearest to me at the time while out in Melrose Park. As for this visit, I nearly had to circle around to find a parking spot to park my vehicle because the parking lot itself was congested the time I visited. The atmosphere inside felt very relaxed, a very chill vibe for sure! Other than that, I must say that it was a break shopping here in comparison to a Jewel-Osco, Pete's Fresh Market, or Mariano's location. Now along with the shelved items being organized, the market is acceptably clean, and the aisles have plenty of maneuvering space. Moreover, this Food4Less location has a very warehouse-like appearance. I particularly searched for the items I visited for like the box of Jimmy Dean Plant-Based Patty, Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwiches, and Boost nutrition drinks which I found without any assistance needed. Other shelved items I took a liking to were a box of limited-edition throwback of pop tarts, a box of Jimmy Dean Plant-Based Crumbles, and a 12 fl oz of ez night sleep which I was shocked at its price. Last night I stopped by to eat tacos. As my friend and I were waiting on the waitress (attentive lady and doing her best) we notice something on the floor. We initially thought it was a dead baby bird and began laughing. A few minutes later we realize it was a baby rat. My friend told the waitress multiple times that it was a dead rat and she made no attempt to hide it, clean it, or anything. Instead she kicked it and continue to take orders. To be fair she was the only waitress but then I thought if this is one baby rat then I'm sure the restaurant has many which is why I'm deciding to post this as a concern citizen.

The cashiers are friendly and will help find anything you need. One side note: OIL THE 2ND entrance door! Walmart in general is kinda the GOAT honestly…read more I've been going to this particular location for the last few months now since I moved to the area. It's kind of a hit or miss; I've had good experiences and not-so-good experiences. No matter what time of the day you come here at, I swear this Walmart is always busy. I've never seen it slow on any day or any time. The parking can be kind of hectic because of this, too, but I usually just park in the back anyway to avoid it (gotta get my steps in). This Walmart is BIG and has everything a Walmart requires - food, clothes, toiletries, electronics, decor, seasonal stuff, etc. Sometimes I find their shelves empty and running out of a lot of stuff. Sometimes I find their shelves fully stocked, it's really up in the air when I come in. I've usually always had a good experience with the staff though; they're pretty helpful and nice. The worst experience I had was when my sister and I bought a TV here for our apartment. We bought a TV and had a good experience with the employees; however, when we opened up the TV at home there was a huge crack in it and it was not a workable TV because of it. We went back to customer service and it turns out they re-sold a returned, broken TV. They said it should have never been on their shelves. It was just a whole ordeal and took kinda long and then we had to buy another TV since that was the last one within the price range we were looking for. I've been to better Walmarts and I've been to worse, this one is okay if you're looking for simple items!
