Looking through Google, Asmeret was the closest to me as I live on the northeast side. Asmeret is small market on 16th street near Pasquale's pizza. If you blink you'll miss it. The guy who owns it is so nice and he was so surprised to see someone America...especially a black American looking for real spices. But he was great, he got my straight! Nice big bag of berbere, the special butter, and other special spices. Prices was great! Only downside was I was late and they were already sold out of injera. Otherwise a great little spot for purchasing authentic Ethiopian spices and products.
