Super One is one of those must have places. Like all good grocery stores this one is strictly food so your not off buying items like a new tv, or movie, or new clothes....nope this place is good. Super One often has great prices on produce, meat, and dairy. The wife and I love making salads and have growing kids who live off of cereal and milk, so those deals on milk our always good haha the service from the people who work here are great, they smile, they get to know you, and soon you can call them out by name when you see them. I believe my only complaint about this store like many others, they are forcing people to go to self check out because 1. They are too short handed, or 2. They are eliminating check out by their own staff, which in my opinion is wrong. The industries that are eliminating jobs from people so that people will check themselves may be the way of the future, but I enjoy the interaction between the staff and customers. It makes me come back to shop there. Other then that, Super One is a good place to shop, it's nice to know where most things are from being a frequent shopper, but if I didn't I know I can rely on the staff to help me find anything in the store. Best grocery store around. Full bagging service. Multiple types if carts to push around. No complaints. ​

I used to live out west and there were two kinds of grocery stores. There was the low priced store with bad customer service where you had to bag your own groceries and there was the over priced store with good customer service that bagged your groceries for you. Super One is a chain here in Minnesota and I believe in a couple of surrounding states. They've managed to be the low priced store with good customer service and they bag your groceries! Sure, they have the occasional grumpy cashier but it's the customers that make them this way. If you're just nice to them, they will change their attitude. I'm not quite sure how they manage to keep their prices so low since there's virtually no competition. Since it's where I shop, I won't complain! read more

I have shopped at Super ! in Virginia - both north and south and also U-Save in Biwabik for 20 years. They have wonderful produce. And the stores are always neat and clean. Super 1 offers shopping for seniors only from 6-8am daily. This is wonderful - in theory. But I see a constant flow of people in their 20s and 30s going in and out of the store. I assume the young men are day workers picking up something for lunch. The young women seem to fill their carts. Both, it seems, have found a safe time/place to shop at the expense of seniors. I don't expect Super 1 staff to enforce the edict handed down from management who is far removed from the situation. But only a 8.5x11 inch notice is posted out to the side of the entry door. A pedestal style sign - right in front of the entry door may be more effective. Ignorance cannot then be claimed. Something saying "Seniors Only until 8AM". The seniors policy is a wonderful idea - again, in theory. But it isn't working in practice. read more

I was a longtime patron of the store spending $500 a month for many years raising 3 children.Towards the end of last winter I was at the deli and the workers behind the counter were screaming at each other.We all looked at each other and thought wow wt,there were only 3 people in line.I have since found other places to spend my money only going there if I absolutely need to.The cashiers and baggers have always been very friendly.Maybe they were having a bad day but I found there attitude to be quite unprofessional. read more
