I don't remember when I added this spot to my to-try list, but I'm so glad I finally made it! Swung by after work--still a bit early, but thankfully they opened a few minutes before 11am. With a recommendation in mind, I went for the roasted potato with broccoli, shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, garlic oil, and pico de gallo. It hit the spot! Definitely enough for two meals for me. The staff were super friendly, the space was clean and quiet (granted, it wasn't peak meal time), and parking was easy right outside. Will go back and try something else, yes, the dessert! read more

What a great idea! I love that you can customize your potato. I'm a vegetarian & my BF is a meatatarian lol. So this is perfect. I loaded my massive baked potato with some veggie toppings and he loaded his with multiple meats! The garlic oil is sooo good and so is the other sauce they recommended (I can't remember the name sorry). And did I mention they sell the best Quesitos ever! Everyone is super nice & friendly too. Cute little fresh ambiance restaurant that offers a few varieties of loaded baked potatoes, in addition to create your own options. While there were a few other things on the menu, we ordered 2 of their main creations... the Super potato and La Pionono potato. You order at the counter and they initially ask if you want a white or sweet potato. Their advertising calls their sweet potatoes a Puerto Rican potato. I'm not sure what sweet potato variety (I know there are several) is dubbed a Puerto Rican potato but decided for just their regular Yukon (I assume) option. But by regular, I'm not referencing their size... the pics don't do it Justice but these are massive! Prob about 6". That's a lot of potato. The service was ok, you wait at the counter while they create your entree and you'll be asked a couple of times about Mayo or additional sauces (included). While both potatoes were very filling and well cooked through, and had a lot going on, we were surprised at the lack of seasoning. Both potatoes seemed to lack "something". Neither of us thought it was the toppings or the meat, which were good, but I did get a little more flavor with my topping of chimichurri sauce. My friends super loaded potato which has everything but the kitchen sink, was lacking flavor moreso. Fortunately on the table there are a variety of seasonings you can add so I think that helped somewhat. I thought this was an interesting point because we both have different taste profiles, but we both agreed that there was something missing (yes we tasted one another's as well). Though we entered with big appetites, we could only finish 1/2 the potato. So the magic question of whether I'd return or not... maybe. They've been open only a few months and we know feedback can be part of a new business' success. I'd be interested to try a sweet potato base and see how if there's improvement with the seasonings. You do get alot of potato, the service was nice and the ambiance clean. All in all, a nice establishment to give it a try if your a potatoes fan like me. read more

I saw this restaurant featured on Instagram so I decided to give it a try since it's close to home. I pretty much knew what I wanted before looking over the menu. I ordered the La Pionono on a Spanish sweet potato (never knew about this kind of potato). They serve large portions of meat which is a good thing however there was way too much cheese poured on top (see photo) the food of course was well seasoned as expected. Then I ordered a desert a mini cake that was very sweet but good too. I will be back but I will pay more attention to the amount of cheese on top of my potato. Just a heads up the server should ask how much cheese you want that's why I gave 3 stars...Stay tuned for an update. read more
