What an awesome experience!! From the moment we walked in you are hit with a warm yummy scent of fresh baked waffle cones! The selection of ice creams are way more than the usual flavors,but what impressed us the most was their attention to those with a nut allergy. The woman explained that they separate the ice creams that contained nuts in a separate freezer and the other 2 freezers were nut free ice creams. They use new scoops for those ice creams and I saw her expel some of the soft server before filling my daughters ice cream into the cone. They take the extra necessary steps for those who need it! This is probably my favorite ice cream shop. Not only did they have incredible ice cream but the staff is soo friendly!!! After the first time we went, we all got very burnt. When we came back the day after, the staff remembered us, look at our faces and gave us some fresh aloe to treat the burns. Never have I had a service like this. These people are truly angels! I can't rave about this place enough. I used to live down the street and this family owned shop is so great! I always saw the owners (grandparents) and/or their grandkids at the shop working. I love supporting locally owned shops and everyone here was always so friendly. But the ice cream is delicious! They have working cow ice cream (made in Gainesville), which is my favorite mint chocolate chip ice cream after double rainbow ice cream (in San Francisco). They also have a frequent customer card where you can earn a free ice cream! Definitely recommend this adorable, family owned ice cream shop. read more

So we decided to stop at super scoops and I'm so glad we did! The 2 people that worked there were so unbelievably welcoming and nice.. The ice cream was soooo good.. I had the mini banana split.. Yum and the kids had the special ice cream of the day.. They sell candy that you can't find in other places- all the classic candy! We sat outside where they have cute tables and the owner came out and took a picture of us and then she showed us a cool game they have at the shop.. The ice cream was good-but it's the "Working Cow" brand. That brand is amazing so that's the only reason why I'm giving them 2 stars. I am taking some stars away because their "homemade" waffle cones were soggy. They were soggy-and my ice cream was only in the waffle bowl for less than a minute. Waffle bowls shouldn't do that. Another reason why I am taking stars away is because of their customer service. We met the owner and he was rude and snippy to everyone in our party. We are definitely not coming back. We will find another ice cream shop that carries the "Working Cow" brand. read more

This is the ultimate ice cream place. The fact that this is on treasure island makes it so much better. It's the perfect place to go after a day at the beach. The staff is the sweetest and they are so quick and are able to keep up with the influx of people that may be there at times. I come here every time and never regret it. One of the best places to take visiting friends while they are here for a treat. I love their waffle cones, so it is a major bummer when they run out, but I will still get a cup of ice cream. The wall of candy brings back nostalgia for me. Anyone remember candy cigarettes, wax lips or Yukon Gold bubblegum? While the lines are sometimes long but it is worth the weight. Plus, they will except multiple loyalty cards that they punch. We always seem to forget or misplace them, having to request new ones when we forget.
