Super scoops is a super sweet little ice cream shop in Treasure Island that took a scoop of my heart! First of all, I know they had a complete revamp of the building, the colors and murals and aesthetic and it WORKS. It is so adorable and caught my eye just driving past on the road before ever deciding to stop by. It's a very small shop so you really can't fit more than 5-6 people inside comfortably, but it's worth it. I tried a sorbet flavor- usually I don't go for sorbets but something fruity and refreshing sounded good and this couldn't have been a better choice. Surely one of the best sorbets I have ever tried! It was all about the texture- rather than the typical icy texture of most sorbets, this one was sticker, packed with tart watermelon flavor and it was fantastic. We tried to come back the next night just to have the sorbet again but it was so busy we wouldn't waited 30+ minutes, and though it would be worth it we had other stuff we wanted to get to. But this is such a great little lace across the road from the beach! There's a good amount of outdoor seating around back and in the front- it's cute, sweet, fun and tasty!

We found super scoops on Yelp with a simple search and decided to check it out due to how good the reviews were! I had the brownie sundae and it was delicious the warm brownie at the bottom of the cup and two scoops of my choice of ice cream. My wife had the raspberry sorbet and she loved it. The service was great and the ambience was inviting. We will definitely come back and eat more ice cream in the future!

This place is just pure fun. Zoltar greets you along with Lady Liberty gleefully hoisting a cone out front. The new tables and umbrellas for shade are colorful and have that old school Italian riviera and/or maybe 50s soda shop vibe. The new branding (mural, signage, etc) overall is an upgrade to what was already a super fun little spot. Lots of parking makes it a breeze to stop in for a quick treat. Tables were clean and napkins were ample. The array of flavors is great and the ice cream quality is equal to the price tag and the rest of the thoughtfully curated experience. Inside their staff has always been friendly and they stock everything you might need to induce a sugar high and/or instant cavities for the whole family, and I mean that in a good way. Their candy selection is a dentist's nightmare but the colorful nostalgia is worth it.

This Treasure Island treat was recently sold to new owners. James and friends gave the place a shiny update with new outdoor seating, a colorful mural, new candy and soda displays, but kept the charm and delicious ice cream the locals know and love. Great friendly place!!! The ice cream was excellent and a great sitting area outside. The 2 guys working were super nice and let our dog come in and gave her a pup cup which she loved! An unexpected surprise. The Cookie Monster ice cream was a hit as well as Gator tracks! Will definitely return.

Yum! We are staying at the Treasure Island Marina Hotel which is right next door to Super Scoops. The ice cream is soooo good that we stopped in two nights in a row. The ice cream is tasty and creamy. My daughter loved the cookie monster one. The service is outstanding as well. Definitely a must go. read more

Amazing! My wife and I were staying at the hotel next door (Treasure Bay Hotel and Marina) and walked past this place on our first night. We knew we had to stop in after dinner, and we're both extremely glad we did. First off, the couple working behind the counter, an older man and women, were some of the nicest people I've ever met. They were incredibly friendly, talkative, and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. The selection of delicious ice cream was huge--we were in the area for a full week, got ice cream every single night, and still didn't sample all of the flavors between the two of us. They serve Working Cow icecream which is very smooth and delicious. Flavors range from the basic (vanilla, cookies and cream) to some pretty unique ones (the Whala Whala Monkey was one of my favorites: banana ice cream, with chunks of real bananas in it, along with miniature chocolate peanut butter cups). Another great thing about this place is their HUGE selection of retro candy. Not only do they have a lot of the typical candy bars, but they special order novelty candy from back in the day. I was born in 1983 and barely recognized half of the stuff they carried. It was very impressive. Overall, this place deserves 6 stars out of 5 for the WONDERFUL people and service, and the delicious ice cream that we liked so much that we had to have it every night. read more

5 stars. It's an ice cream shop with about 30 flavors. The cones are stacked The prices are not. Friendly staff. You'll see your neighbors there and meet new folks from abroad. Pick up a frequent visitor card. Fill up the card and get a free cone. What a deal! Yep...as good as it gets. read more

I sampled the coconut, which was good, but then I ended up getting the Coconut Almond Joy, which was amazing!!! It is a coconut based ice cream with whole almonds and chocolate flakes throughout. I got it on a waffle cone, which was also very good. The bottom wasn't pointed like most are, it was folded & tucked in so there was no leakage. Great ice cream, highly recommend! read more

Cute little ice cream shop with some super good italian ice. My daughter had regular ice cream and loved it but I'm more of an italian ice lover. The watermelon flavor was just great. Lots of flavor and highly addictive. The gal and guy working the counter were super nice and engaged with us. They asked where we were from and thanked us for stopping by. There were some tables inside and some tables with umbrellas outside as well to enjoy your treat. They gave us a loyalty card and said it never expires. read more

When walking in we were pleasantly surprised with the sweet aroma of the fresh waffle cones baking. After ordering the waffle bowl, I assure you they taste just as great as they smell. This is everything a small business should be. And it pleases me greatly! Located in a tiny little building that shares a lot with a motorsports rental place, Super Scoops is owned by an adorable little old couple that are sweet as can be. The aroma as you walk in is heavenly, and the flavor choices abound. You can get authentic ice cream in lots of flavors. I've tried several and none are bad. They even let you try a taste if you aren't sure what to get! They make the waffle cones in house. Delicious! The prices are reasonable, and they offer a punch card. They also do incentives for grade school age kids for getting A's and B's. A/B report card gets one free scoop, and all A's gets 2 free scoops. Score! This is exactly the place you want to go after a day at the beach. There are picnic tables outside, where your ice cream will melt, so eat fast! read more

Our favorite dessert place to go when we're in town. A turtle sundae is highly recommended and I love the butter pecan!!!!! Lots of different flavors but I just keep asking for this favorite flavor of mine. Owners are very nice and welcoming as well as their current employees. Plan in advance to wait because it's a very popular place to go to. Outdoor seating in the front is limited but they have more in the back of the building. Take the punch card because after 10 scoops you get a bowl for free and it doesn't expire so you can hold onto it! read more

Great place to bring the family. Delicious ice cream and the rum raisin was great (this is my hit or miss flavor and it's a solid hit here). If you don't like ice cream there's at least 8 flavors of sorbet in the back and plenty of candy to choose from. Don't miss this place while you're in the area. read more

The three of us each had cones and all of us came away happy. The owners were very friendly and there was plenty of parking. I definitely recommend this place if you're ever in the Treasure Island area. (and it had much shorter lines than the place at St Johns pass down the road) read more

My boyfriend and I stopped here after seeing so many five star reviews. I had the Cookie Monster ice cream on a sugar cone. He had a cookies and cream milk shake. My mouth is blue but the ice cream is delicious so it was totally worth it. The two employees that worked there were so nice and treated us like family. I drive by four ice cream shops to visit Super Scoops! This place was just named #3 ice cream shop in the nation via trip advisor (sorry yelpers). The owners and their family that works there are wonderful. So friendly and kind. They have old fashion candy for Moms and Dads (Boston baked beans & chic-o-sticks) as well as candies for youngsters (the sour toilet bowl, similar to fun dip). Working cow is the ice cream brand they have chosen to compliment their homemade waffle cones. My favorite is Swiss chocolate almond and the salted caramel is a close second. Students can bring in their report card (honor roll) and get a free cone. Remember to get your punch card! The 10th punch is a free cone! read more

We specialize in selling the best products we can find. We serve Working Cow Ice Cream, which is a premium ice cream. We also sell Frozen Custard and Soft Serve as well as delicious Italian Ice, made by a company that's been in business for over 100 years. We make our own Hot Fudge, for our Sundaes, and Brownies from Ghirardelli Chocolate, and make fresh waffle cones daily. We bake and sell Otis Spunkmeyer Cookies. We also have a nice assortment of Nostalgia Candy to satisfy your sweet tooth. We are a family owned and operated business, and we treat our customers like they're part of the family. History

Established in 2009.

My husband and I moved to Florida from Connecticut 16 years ago and at that time we wanted to open an ice cream shop. We looked at a couple of shops that were for sale, but there was no parking, so we put that dream on hold and started another business. One day when my husband was on his way home, he saw the building that we are in for rent. It was an old Enterprise Rental building with loads of easy in easy out parking. He checked out the building and called to tell me that he thought we were going to be in the ice cream business. It took us three months to go through the change of use to make it into a food service building. During that time, we tasted every homemade ice cream out there to try to find the very best. We found a lot that were very good and a lot less expensive, but we always went back to Working Cow Homemade Ice Cream. They offer about 130 flavors with new ones coming out on a regular basis, and they're only about 15 minutes away.

My husband and I moved to sunny Florida from Connecticut 16 years ago and wanted to open an ice cream shop, We looked at a couple that were for sale and didn't take them because they didn't have any parking. It was a wise decision because they both went out of business. Several years later, my husband was coming home one day and saw the building we're in for rent. It was the old Enterprise Car Rental building with loads of parking. My husband made an appointment to see the building, and the rest is history. In the three months that it took to get permits and change the use of the building, we went out and tasted every homemade ice cream offered in the area. We always went back to Working Cow. It cost us a lot more than any of the others, but we felt that it was well worth the money. We decided that with so many ice cream shops in the area, we had to set ourselves apart from the rest by making our own hot fudge, brownies, and waffle cones, and give great service.

We ordered Jan 8 and just received our order this week, Feb 20, 2025. There was one issue after another that delayed shipment. We were concerned with the lack of communication. When we finally had a response, it sounds like the owners had a lot going on. The owners sent some samples as a sorry for the issues and delay and a few other extras due to being out of the flavor that were in stock when we ordered. She didn't eat it. I would skip the pasta entrees. The other item we were disappointed with was the Crab Rangoon dip. It had a fishy tang to it that we weren't a fan of. Someone in our group got the tacos for taco Tuesday and said they were good. Chicken tenders were also yummy. Overall, we had an okay experience. If we came back, we'd go with different items on the menu for sure.

Within 4 days of visiting St. Pete, my husband and I went to Super Scoops twice - the ice cream is that good. The owners are absolutely so nice ...it's like having your favorite grandparents dishing out ice cream for their favorite grandkids. The portions are huge, the flavors are delicious and the whole environment is unpretentious and welcoming. read more
