This place is excellent! My family and I have been to treasure island 4 or so different times and we make it a point to come here every time. We even hang on to the punch card year round to use it. Often time we come 3-4 times while we are here. The employees are great! It seems to be a family run business. I can't say enough about how good this place is. If you are in treasure island you have to stop and get some ice cream here. The salted caramel is my favorite. read more

My spouse had the decadent pistachio ice cream. I really appreciate a business that does it right with good hard work to create delicious ice cream creations. LOVED!!! Best ice cream shop I've been to anywhere! The cute shop is located across from the beach, and has picnic tables out front with thatched roof umbrellas that have a tiki-hut feel. Nearly every table had someone sitting, and there were groups standing outside the shop, enjoying their ice cream and the evening. The staff inside were SO friendly, waiting on each guest promptly and politely, even as the small waiting area became full. I ordered a double scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough in a waffle cone for myself, a scoop of vanilla with rainbow sprinkles in a waffle bowl for my daughter, and a banana split for my husband. The scoops they give are very large, and they will customize the banana split however you like. The ice cream was smooth and creamy, perfect consistency and just delicious. The waffle cone and bowl were crispy and had a really good flavor. The banana split was gigantic and my husband said it was excellent. And to top it all off, the staff was full of smiles and polite chit chat, which made my short wait very pleasant. The price was average, just over $16 for everything. We are visiting, and will make this a stop EVERY time we come to the area, for certain. read more

My husband and I discovered this place while in Treasure Island on vacation. It was one of the highlights of our vacation! The ice cream is delicious and very reasonably priced. This is the perfect place to get a waffle cone before taking a walk on the beach. The folks who run this shop are extremely nice; we had a wonderful experience all three times! This is a cute little ice cream shop with a lot of variety in flavors. They had ice cream and Italian ices. They also offered milkshakes and sundaes. The female "owner" of this establishment is rude, inconsiderate, selfish and down right uncaring. Maybe if you weren't such a stressed out ugly soul, your parking lot would be full and business would be booming. I witnessed the owner rudely bark at customers with 2 young kids walking to another establishment because they parked in her empty parking lot! She barked "I pay $1000.00 a month for parking." Did you even consider that maybe they were going to stop at your place afterwards? Again the lot was EMPTY! My family stops to patronize several dessert shops at one time, everyone does, I guess you didn't consider that!! I will not visit your icecream shop ever again, I will also be sure to express what I witnessed to all that want icecream on the beach! It literally left a bad taste in my mouth, so much so that I threw out the icecream I ordered. It's patrons like myself that pay for your mortgage, car and everything else you feel like spending money on and living comfortably with. I hope this negative post resonates loud and clear with other customers, your attitude is disgraceful and I hope you feel it where it hurts! read more

Visiting from Texas and staying just up the street from scoops. Purchased ice cream here a few times this week. Pretty darn good. Know what's not pretty darn good? The owner's attitude. Headed up there again today for ice cream and the kids decided they wanted to try the snowcone place next-door instead. So we walked a couple of feet next-door to the snowcone shop, bought snowcones and walked back to our car. The snowcone shop is truly maybe 10 feet away from the ice cream shop. I was gone maybe five minutes tops from the time I turned off my ignition to the time I returned to the car with our snocones. As I'm getting in the car the owner approaches my vehicle and tells me I can't park there or my car will be towed. Mind you there's maybe two other cars in the parking lot and at least 25 open spaces (totally estimating the number of open spaces but you get the picture). Please know I do understand that parking spaces are a hot commodity especially at the beach. What I don't understand is why an owner would give me a hard time with so many other vacant spaces and knowing I was only there for a few minutes and visited his shop already twice since we arrived on Saturday (today is Wednesday). He then told me what a great mom I was by setting such a poor example for my children. Really? My parenting skills all ride on a parking space? Does anybody want to guess where we will not be getting ice cream from anymore? If you're in the area be sure to try the snowcone shop. read more

Delicious ice cream! Lots of flavors to choose from. The girlfriend got captain butter scotch (vanilla with butterscotch syrup, Oreo cookies and mini peanut butter cups) and I got the Whala Whala monkey (banana flavored ice cream with mini peanut butter cups). Both were very good. The man and woman behind the counter were very nice. She came outside to give us pointers on the "ring on a hook" game. Entertaining and frustrating at the same time!! Arrived a little after 3:00 pm - no crowd must have been the perfect time. Very friendly service. Get a homemade waffle cone, they were fresh and crispy. The ice cream was good but not great, then again I am from Wisconsin and homemade ice cream is one thing I have become spoiled with. I got mint and my son got caramel pralines, that was better than the mint. Worth the stop, you'll enjoy it. I would like to give this local business a great review but I won't. And the owners just lost a lot of business as we are staying nearby for a week with our kids. We pulled into the parking lot, my husband went to get ice cream and my kids wanted snow cones so the three of us went next door. As we went back to the car someone from the ice cream shop came over to yell at us for parking. Their parking lot is full of signs warning against parking there and promises a tow. I won't frequent any business that is this unfriendly. My husband promptly threw away his scoops!! read more

Super Scoops has the best ice cream on the beach. They also have a great selection of candy that the kids really enjoy - lots of the old time candy which is great. They also have Boar's Head soup which I thought was kind of odd at first but then I tried it on a stormy day and it was great. My boyfriend and I read all the great reviews so we thought we would try it out. When we walked in we smelt something amazing. The woman said she just finished making some waffle cones. Love that they make them! We sampled a few and she recommend salted caramel. Sounded gross but so glad I tried it because that's what I ended up ordering. First time at the place, staff seemed friendly. Ice cream was just okay, but it didn't matter, as we were enjoying a visit with some good friends. Although we had finished our ice cream, we were only there about 15 min. talking at an outdoor table (not being loud or inappropriate in any way) when an associate (or possibly the owner) started wiping down our table as we sat there. He asked us to leave the table and go to the back of the place if we were just going to talk, so that other people could sit there. There were plenty of empty tables in the back where people could sit, but apparently the worker thought WE should be sitting there. The four of us were taken aback and my husband told him that was rude, so we would just leave. The worker then told us that we were rude for sitting there because we already had our ice cream. Wow! Four middle-aged adults being schooled by a disgruntled ice cream worker! We will never recommend this place! read more
