It's a supplements store. And despite a 2008 study, and others that followed, that proved people who take supplements shorten their own lives, it remains very popular to coke up on vitamins and fake health products legally only sold as "food supplements" since it's delusional that they contribute to health. Americans spend $20 billion a year to shorten life on the phony promise they're getting healthier! This particular store rather specializes in sports supplements. I don't see that they carry the ones that really help you bulk up (because they're illegal) but everything else they provide. The staff is friendly and hard-sell, because stuff with dubious scientific evidence of efficacy doesn't necessarily sell itself, there has to be a check-out counter person posing as physician trained to defend your health. And never mind that the medical findings for whey and soy protein shakes is they're great for constipation, bloating, nausea, headaches, and the soy content might even duplicate the effects taking female hormones, throwing the hormone levels out of wack, inducing infertility and sexual dysfunction, encouraging fat, and risk of thyroid injury. And then if you really must believe these have all sorts of health benefits despite the equal number of serious risks, just ignore the fact that lab analysis have shown that fewer than 25% of commercial products contain 90% of the amount of active ingredient (isoflavone, a phytoestrogen in soy) promised on the label. So even if it weren't contra-indicated for health, the possibility of getting that alleged benefit from products developed by an unregulated industry provide odds lower than one in four products tried. And that's before realizing the soy isolates used in these products are so harmfully processed as to be stripped of nutritional value in any case! People are nevertheless powerful believers in this and a thousand similar "health" nonsense myths. Total Nutrition really can meet the requirements of such belief systems, whether or not your actual health benefits. You can at least count on the placebo effect if you truly totally believe it's not all folly! And i'm totally in favor of the Ken Unger style gay icon on the roof!

They not only so Sports nutrition supplements but also have an in-body test machine that shows everything from your muscle mass muscle mass to body fat percentage and even hydration and left right symmetry. Most importantly it shows basal metabolic rate so you can get on top of your fitness goals and smash them! I have never felt pressured to buy anything I truly feel they really care and only want us to succeed. I always leave feeling like I'm there only client and that I matter

Best customer service I've experienced in a long time. My salesperson (Tanya, I think - sorry if…read morethat's not it), was AMAZING! Not only was she super friendly and attentive to my needs, but she was also very knowledgeable. I told her what I was experiencing with my health, and she immediately knew what to recommend. She walked to each section with me, describing the benefits of the vitamin and supplements, and what to expect. She was trying her hardest to find me a great deal, since there was a buy 2 get 1 free sale going on. I told her it was okay, and I was happy with the product she picked. Yes, the prices may be a bit higher than Amazon or Wal Mart, but for these products, I would much rather have a live person help out and talk to me about the products. Then, she did something AMAZING...as I was leaving she said goodbye and thanked me for coming in. What made this experience so amazing was the fact that when she said this, she used my first name, and sounded so genuinely happy that I had stopped by her shop. I felt like we were old friends, and we had only spent 15 minutes together. Superstar Service!!! I'll be back! Definitely!

Perhaps more have opened since I last looked but regardless Sprouts is spread fairly thin in Washington state. Where we moved from which was back in Colorado there were more stores along the Front Range and we always liked going to them because you got the features of an organic grocery store but without the higher prices as much. So our visits to Sprouts isn't as frequent as we would like but we are still impressed when we do pay the occasional visit that the produce is still good with great sales. An expanded deli here at this location makes it even more of a worthwhile stop as I pick up a few sandwiches and salads for my lunch breaks at work during the week. There are more full size ready to go meals that you can pick up from the deli and you can freeze them and then bake them for when you want a good meal without giving up a lot of time to cook. These meals look fairly healthy compared to their frozen food department counterparts. No complaints at all as I recently enjoyed my tuna fish sandwich, turkey sandwich and a salad on our last visit along with very fine tasting pastries for dessert. How could I ever pass up the bakery case? Something would be missing in my life if I did. *update on 4/26/2023* Sprouts has four locations in Washington state now. Two additional ones in Seattle proper and Lynnwood.

They were done incorrectly, so I called the manager immediately, who said, "No problem. Bring them back in the morning, and we will refund you." I showed up the next morning and was greeted by Georgia, who asked, "How can I help?" I let her know what happened, and she said, "No problem. Do you want three new sandwiches for free for your trouble?" I said, "No way!" She said, "Way!" I waited patiently for 20 minutes and received three free sandwiches. What great customer service! The atmosphere there was so welcoming. Thank you so much to Georgia and Kerri, my favorite sandwich maker now. I will make sprouts one of my stops during the week. To make sure I buy something from there. And always get sandwiches that are made excellent. And the way you want them. Other businesses can learn from their model way to go Sprouts Farmers Markets. Thanks
