So..... I've waited a while to write this review I really wanted to give this place a chance. I spoke to I believe a Manuel about getting my 2019 Toyota Tacoma done at their shop. We had all windows including rear and front windshield done. We went with a ceramic film per recommendation due to the heat rejection. The film itself works as described the tint makes it feel MANY MANY DEGREES cooler even if the A/C is off. Sooo Johnson's ceramic film is good film. Here's where the issue comes into place. When I seen the job done I spotted slight bubbling in the film I was advised by the installer that the bubbling was normal for the first 48-72 hours to allow the tint to cure with the lack of heat during the install time period I gave it a weeks time. After a week I still had bubbles I phoned the shop and Manuel asked me to come in to get it redone. My wife took the truck in and they told her word for word " We're doing our best to get the bubbles out we can't guarantee no bubbles" even though the tint included a "lifetime warranty against bubbling peeling or fading." So we got the truck back and noticed the bubbles had been cut out by the installed he simply took a blade to cut the air pockets and lay the film back down. So now we have little specs of sunlight where the blade was used to puncture the film to "remove the air bubbles." I later then noticed SEVERAL Several scratches on the film from what appear to be blade marks. Especially on the front windshield tint. When driving I notice glare marks across the deeper scratches on the film. AVOID THIS PLACE. The customer service was awful at this point I've accepted the outcome and stopped reaching out. I was disappointed 1 too many times so this place will not be on my list for referral or for returning business. I've learned my lesson with trying to save a few bucks. read more

I originally got my tint installed at a reputable tint and wheel shop in Whittier (I won't mention name) 2 years prior and recently noticed a few bubbles and discoloration on the film. I took the vehicle back to the Whittier location since I was promised a "lifetime warranty." I was extremely disappointed when the owner claimed I used windex or ammonia to clean my windows which supposedly caused the bubbles and discoloration. Long story short, I was turned away. I still had all my warranty documentation so I decided to call the number on the form. The film manufacturer's customer service representative was extremely helpful after I explained my concerns. He explained it was owner discretion to honor the warranty and immediately reffered me to another local film Authorized Dealer. I called Super Tint in El Monte and the owner's son was very understanding, he invited me in the next day. As soon as I showed him the paperwork he started working on replacing ALL my tint with no questions asked. It was a completely different experience at this small business. I am so impressed with their level of customer service. I will bring all my cars here going forward. read more

I came to this shop to get my car stereo working again. The repair job wasn't an easy fix, took them almost 2 hours to fix my car stereo and they only charged me $50. We got our car's windows tinted here in the past so we decided to do another one of our cars here and came back to our back window being detached from the drop top. The guy blamed it on the age of the car yet it wasn't broken or even falling apart when we got there, so they either don't know how to tint drop tops or they just messed up. They didn't even call to let us know and even upon arrival they didn't mention it... we noticed OBVIOUSLY. The guy didn't even try to help fix it and we had to argue to even get a discount since it was poorly done and we're going to have to pay out of our pockets to fix their screw up. We had an appointment and still had to wait 3 hours. They also quoted us a price over the phone and tried to switch it up when we got there so make sure you get the name of the person who quotes you and record them saying it or else they'll argue and try to up-charge you ten bucks. I took my car for a complete tint in all 5 windows of my car. After 2 months the driver side tint started to peal off. I took it in and they told me that the person that had done the tints in my car no longer work there so they couldnt do anything even though its still the same shot with the same name! So I said okay I will pay again to get it remove and install again. He told me to sit and wait. I waited for more than 2 hrs! Told me after that it was too late and he couldn't get it done and to bring my car back another day. Lack of customer service and work integrity despite claiming to have "so much" experience. The backstory to my review is fairly long but, long story short the job they performed caused an issue with my car ,which the men performing the job were well aware of. The worker I spoke to said he couldn't do anything about it and said to come back when the owner was present to talk about the issue. The incident happened Saturday afteroon and the owner called me Monday morning. The owner instead of allowing me to explain what happened refused to hear and instead started arguing that it wasn't his fault and it was my problem for buying a used car (a detail I shared with the worker putting on the tint). The owner was insulting, rude, and non apologetic. He offered no type of solution or sympathy he actually claimed I was trying to get money out of him. I was refered to this place by a friend as it is cheaper than other tint shops but BIG mistake I will rather spend a couple extra bucks with a place that has the basics in customer service. read more

I initially had my vehicle's stereo deck upgraded to one that was bluetooth compatible. When we turned on the sound system, an annoying high pitched sound played along with the music. The stereo technician told me that a noise filter may need to be installed to drown the noise. Which of course would cost extra. Note, this screeching noise did not start until after the new stereo was installed. Unfortunately, it was closing time and the technician told me to come another day to fix it. I agreed. I have been calling and wasting gas to go to them because they tell me to come in and get it done, but once I get there, they always say we need you to come another day. This has been going on for months. I was told to call again at 4pm in order to drop off the car because they will make "time" for me to fix this issue. I call at the time instructed and everyone is acting like they never seen me before. Now im left with a half-done job and need to find another place to finish up something that should have been fixed for months. read more

was lookin to get tints and was going down garvey and saw this tint shop. decided to look up reviews and saw its 2.5 rating. i read some good reviews about this place and took a chance, anyways have to say he did a very great job. i dont understand how this tint shop got 2.5, they also give you a reciept and instructions about the tints and such, most tint shops only give you a reciept thats it, but i recommend this place they did a great job. read more
