Super Tires! 165 Broadway, Chula Vista. The Jetta was sorely in need of tires. This was by far the fastest tire change ever...19 minutes from start to finish! These guys were like an Indy 500 pit crew!! Great prices on tires, I'm going back for an alignment. I highly, highly recommend this shop; Manager Cesar was awesome...fast, friendly and a pro! Well worth the drive if you're out of the area!

Great customer service and they are budget friendly too. I always go for my oil changes. They have replaced my radiator, heater pipe and a catalytic converter. Great mechanics. Definitely recommend!

***Updated review*** Have been here a handful of times, although only 2 checking are shown for yelp. I've brought 3 different vehicles to this location. If you are in the market for used or new tires you should check out this place 1st period and is located on Broadway and Chula Vista near the liquor store. Staff here is always nice and friendly and always eager to get you what you need for a good price. Originally found them on craigslist advertising tire sales. While their use selection is very limited, if you have an SUV you might be in luck. If you just need your tire repaired, they are quick even when they have other cars in the Bay, they try and service everybody in a timely fashion. Highly recommend. Also if you use cash, sometimes you can get a better deal.

I'll start by saying that Super Tires are super, which is their name. My teenage daughter crashed her car, and I'm not sure what she broke on the right side, as you can see in the photo. We called the tow truck, but we didn't know who could fix it because it wasn't just the tires; everything underneath was damaged. I'm sorry, I'm not technical enough to tell you the exact term for what got broken. In any case, the tow truck recommended Super Tires, which are 40 minutes away from us. I took the drive word for word, and the car was towed to Super Tires on Broadway. No appointment was needed, and about two or three hours later, the car was as good as new. I have no clue how they fixed it, but the price was surprisingly fair, even on the low side in my eyes. I'm not mechanically inclined, but when I saw the serious damage, I knew that a regular tire shop would not be able to fix this kind of damage. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, speed, and price of the work. They also told me that eventually, I would need to replace the strut and spindle and suggested that I could buy them as used parts, and they would install them for me. Sure enough, that's what I did, and about two weeks later, I showed up with the parts early in the morning. Two and a half hours later, it was all done for minimal cost, including alignment. I don't care that they're 40 minutes away from my home; I will drive there anytime I need anything related to tires or wheels. These guys are professional and make it look so easy that I didn't even believe the job was done so quickly. I was talking to Danny, the manager. I texted him some photos of the damaged car and the parts that I bought. He replied immediately, gave me the price, told me to come whenever I was ready, and if I wanted to wait for it, just come as early as possible. That's exactly what I did. I'm a very, very happy customer and will go back again if needed. And I'm sure I will need to because I have three teenage drivers at home, and we all know how they drive. Super Tires get an A+ from me!

(1200 for radiator and hoses) * Shortly afterward: While driving, the hood unexpectedly opened, damaging the hood and shattering the windshield and almost causing wreck on freeway. * I had the vehicle independently inspected for approximately $200 after the shop initially denied responsibility. The inspection found many loose peaces of hardware relating to the radiator repair and the hood latch had been left loose. * After further discussion and inspection, Brake Stop accepted responsibility for the hood failure and agreed to repair the resulting damage. * The Jeep remained at the shop for nearly three weeks while the repairs were completed. Communication during this period was frustratingly limited, with me generally having to call for updates. * 8/27/26: I picked up the Jeep. The hood, windshield, hood struts and hood release cable had been repaired/replaced at no cost to me, and reluctantly reimbursed my $200 inspection expense. Did not offer refund for botched repairs Ultimately, I appreciate that the owner took responsibility and made the vehicle right. However, the original incident was extremely stressful and could have been dangerous, and I was disappointed that the vehicle was released after the radiator repair with the hood latch apparently not properly secured.

The Call Center misled me into thinking they were at the store and they are NOT! Your Call Center should be more transparent about this. This is a MAJOR ISSUE. Your Call Center assured me that they "will get me in and out" with brakes, an oil change, and four new tires at 4 pm, and to "come right in", and "I have a 4 pm appt for you". LIES!! I walked into the store and they were slammed.. Simón said that there was no 4 pm appt for me, but he would take good care of me anyways. I raised my voice at him, "I just talked to you!" "You said 'in & out'". He calmly said he did not talk to me, but will take good care of me. I calmed myself. I was so angry. He said he would NEVER make a 4 pm appt for someone who needed brakes, 4 tires, and an oil change, when they close at 5 pm. It all made perfect sense. Simón offered to get my tires and oil change started, but offered to inspect my car to see if I even needed brakes. I agreed. It turned out my back brakes were at 6 mm and my fronts were 4 mm, so I still had time to change them. They squeezed me in even though they had cars they were trying to get out of the shop. EXCELLENT management by these guys to fix the predicament their "Call Center" had suckered me into. Evan's Tire & Service in Lemon Grove is a super place with super employees! They gave me a great price, and I was out of there at 5 pm. You need to fix your Call Center though- these stores are welcoming angry customers like me, because they are being lied to. Good job Simón & crew! I owe you one. The Call Center review would be 0 stars.

Right from the beginning a I just felt comfortable and was provide with a quote that was very fair. The CRV had a big issue where the key no longer turned.. again the quote was cheaper if I had done it my self (maybe auto shops get a % off on parts,,I don't know for sure) I had done this key housing replacement for my Civic..the part along was @700 from Auto Zone...cost me way less than that here with the CRV and they took care of programming the new key!! amazing. One interesting note here is that for my repairs, labor was less then the replacement parts!! For the most part that doesn't happen, labor is usually 3 to 4 times the amount of parts! A female friend brought her car in cause it had an error light,,she did not know what to do so I sent her here and was help immediately with out charging an arm and a leg! it goes to tell you, just cause your are female you will not get taken advantage. I had my serpentine belt replace here and I started hearing a squealing sound only afterwards. The noise never ended up resolving and I reached out to the mechanic afterwards. I went out of my way to drop my car off overnight on two separate occasions where he told me that he found nothing wrong with the belt and suggested that there might be an oil leak but wouldn't be able to further troubleshoot without additional labor cost. I asked him if he could check the belt tension as to whether its overtightened or undertightened and gave very specific details about what conditions the noises came out in. I specified the noise came out when I first started the car despite time of day and temperature outside, and also more likely when the AC is on and that it would almost always come out when I made my first big turn when driving. He suggested that it could be due to something else but I insisted that it was the serpentine belt because it only happened after he replaced the belt and that it was exacerbated only when I turned my steering wheel all the way (my car uses power steering via serpentine belt) and when the AC was on (AC powered by serpentine belt). He continued to insist that it wasn't the belt. I asked him if I could record the sound and show him the video so he could hear what it sounded like. He told me that these things can only be diagnosed in person and continued to refuse to review any video or audio recordings of the issue even to have a better understanding of the problem. This issue persisted for months and is extremely embarassing to deal with because my car would squeal whenever I'd leave a public parking lot or pull my car out of parking. Ultimately, this issue was resolved by another mechanic who listened to my video recordings and my experience and took my suggestion to review the serpentine belt and it's tensioner. The other mechanic was able to fix the problem for free in just one go despite not having been the person to actually replace the belt themselves.
