I bought tires there about 3 months ago. I ran over a nail and needed to get it fixed. Regardless of where I had bought my tires, I always took it to discount to get it plugged. I was told it was too close to the sidewall and could not be fixed. I went back to Apollo to see if there is anything he could do or just get a new tire from him. I have gone to them for multiple services - tire purchases + installment, flat tire inspections (they did it for free, false alarm though!), tire alignment, balancing, and strut replacement. Never have they tried to cheat me or force any extra services or products upon me. They are very fair and so trustworthy! I recently went back again to have my brake pads replaced since they were starting to get real noisy. I simply dropped off my car since it was busy during noon time. Willie then called me after their FREE brake inspection, letting me know that all my brake pads were in need of replacement and that they'll also resurface my rotors. Went here for an oil change because it was way overdue. Since I'm horrible to Leo I get him synthetic oil. It was less than 60 bucks here. I usually pay close to 80 where I used to go, so this was a pleasant surprise. The gentlemen at the counter was friendly and told me it'd be about an hour. I took my dog so I walked her a bit. So many random auto repair shops down this way so I leaned on Yelp to guide the way. I stopped in primarily because of the reviews, but also because it was conveniently on the side of the street I was driving on. I intended to bring my '08 Accord to the dealer and get shafted there, as is par for the course, but the wear-indicators on my brakes were screaming and negatively affecting the pimp appeal of my whip. You know how the ladies dig Honda sedans! Holla!!! But, I digress... No lines, no waiting, other than the time it takes the guy to walk across the garage. Quickly throws down a quote, says about 2-hrs and I sign on the dotted line. Tells me he'll give me a call if there is any additional work required and I'm out. 2.2 hrs later I get a call that it's done. While running the AmEx he informs me he rotated the tires and estimates the fronts have about 85% left on them. Somewhat troubling since the rears were at 0%... What's the deal Honda Motor Corp? You ain't got Toyota/Lexus lawsuit issues bleeding you. Oh well, done deal. Friendly, fast, efficient and the spare change in my ashtray was still there. I came here a few years ago to get an alignment and I've been coming back since for tires and alignments. I've never told them, but I love these guys! I used to get an alignment about every 6 months or so before these guys. It's been over a year and my car is still driving straight! ! I used to go to Joe's Tires on Market St and used to buy 2 tires at a time. Joe's just sells low quality low profile profile tires and nothing else. These tires aren't very expensive but don't last long at all. Joe's has horrible, horrible customer service skills. It's as ghetto as it gets for a tire shop. These guys will give you the same price as Joe's but are much more professional and they will rotate and balance your tires for the life of the tires!!! You can't beat it!!! I went in to get my bearings replaced, ended up getting my front strut replaced as well and he included an alignment for free since the strut was pretty expensive. One thing to note though-- they don't have a lot of workers, so depending what time you come in it may take a little while before they get to you but they do make sure you're acknowledged.
