Their wash&fold service was great! The person I talked to was very informative and assured everything ran smoothly. You can drop off your clothes when they opened there's a slot and paper to fill out to the left when you enter. I wasn't aware I needed to bring my clothes in a hamper or bag to put into the slot but the donut shop next door let me have a garbage bag. I had to leave for work and left my laundry basket there , hoping nobody would take it but they had it and put my clothes in after they were done. Would recommend for anybody who doesn't have time to do their laundry and want to pay a reasonable price. read more

This place is an absolute shit hole. 1. Nearly every other machine is "out of order" 2. THERE WAS LITERAL RICE IN THE CHANGE MACHINE WHERE I HAD TO PICK OUT MY QUARTERS 3. There are no credit card machines but the website sure says there is! They force you to pay the fee on their ATM. 4. Accidentally left two nice large bath towels. When back less then 24 hours later and the attendant informed me they we gone. Did someone steal them? Did the business steal them? 5. I called to call to check to see about the towels instead of having to go there for a wasted trip and "Tony" had a voicemail saying he was on vacation and to call his wife. WTF. THERE'S NO DIRECT LINE TO THE STORE. What an awesome safety feature. read more

Left a load of clothes there. Two days later, I realized I left it. Called and explained the situation. The gentleman who answered confirmed the load was there. I said I would be there in about an hour to pick up the load. He told me to ask for Rosa. Got there and Rosa immediately retrieved my clothes from the back, gave me a bag (I forgot to bring one) and sent me on my merry way! Thank you both! This Neighborhood laundromat is the best! Let me check my field notes: They got front loaders (my preference) for 2.25, top loaders for 1.75, big front loaders (never used these) for 5.00, and, from another review on this place, a 'whoa' size front loader for 7.25. Dryers are 6 min per quarter, and are in good shape. I like the fact that they have benches and a few fast-food style attached table-chair sets. Too bad they don't have large, high tables for folding, like the ones at Bing Wong in Berkeley. A lady was wiping everything down and sweeping when I was there, and it looks like she does this sufficiently frequently. The parking lot is tiny, but there's street parking too. In the same strip you got a donut place and a good smelling tacqueria. All the businesses have 'no public restrooms' scrawled onto a handmade sign on the door. Hmm...what else. Oh yeah, hours 7:30 am - 10 pm. This place works for me. read more

Compared to the other options close by for me, this is by far the best. Cleaner, friendly employees actually working...not a lot of super xx large washers (only two) and I had to wash my blankets twice bc what in other machines that size has been okay was apparently too much for the load I attempted....waste of time and money but now I know to only fill the two extra big boys up halfway with blankets. Or maybe I'll just use more of the next size down. The other machines I used for smaller blankets and sheets were perfect. The price was right, the place was clean, convenient parking lot. I think I saw another review complain about homeless people outside? Welcome to urban living where u from? All of the people I encountered were super friendly regardless of their social status. The owner has some guy washing the outside windows right now when he should be fixing his crappy machines. Oh boy oh boy. This place used to be adequate. It's a neighborhood laundromat, nothing you would go out of your way for, and I've been using it for about a year and a half. It was cheap, of average cleanliness, and of primary concern was that your clothes got clean and dry about 95% of the time. Yes, there was an occasion or two when stuff just didn't feel or look clean, and there were certain washers to avoid. But still, I used it, every week at least for a year and a half. I think it was owned by Mr. Lee. He's the sullen elder Asian guy who parks on the bench by the door and glares at everyone. It was "handled" when he wasn't around by the people at the donut shop two doors down, who may or may not have been relatives. Now it is being handled by the people who have the beauty supply next door. Well, I guess you could call it handling. The people at the beauty supply are nice enough. I don't know if they own the laundromat now, or just manage it. But the place went from kind of dirty to just downright scary. People can be pigs, we know this, but this place hadn't been swept and the machines hadn't been wiped off when I showed up, early in the day. More machines than ever are "out of order" and once again I lost my money to a machine that wasn't working and yet didn't have a sign. Plus one of the dryers turned my white bathmats pinkish brown. There were big balls of hair all over the place, on the floor and counters, like some crazy person's dust bunny collection had finally escaped after forty years in captivity. It even smelled bad. How can a place with dryers venting constantly and the influx of laundry chemicals smell bad? Are homeless people sleeping there? The crowd is different, too. It used to be diverse, all the various people of the neighborhood, and you'd see familiar faces often enough. I didn't see anybody I had seen before, and that was okay, but the people that were there were intensely unfriendly, and intentionally not nice. I was scared. And I don't scare easy - I live in Oakland. There was a lady in a hijab who was wheeling her baby around in a huge stroller, and she kept crashing intentionally into me and my laundry cart, and would arbitrarily slam the door of the dryer or washer I was using if I was loading or unloading it. She and her laundry friends spent a lot of time saying something nasty about everyone who came in. Just because you're not speaking English, don't assume that other people can't understand you. I caught enough words to know. Blatant racism is not limited to white people who wear bed sheets. I usually don't warn people away from a local independent business, no matter how poorly run, but I have to say: Don't bother with this place. You're not welcome here. And it will rip you off and destroy your laundry. read more

I came here today because I've always had a good wash here, however there has been changes that really I like. You can use your credit card don't have to hassle with cash, it's cleaner with a modern twist with flat screens. Also greeted by a very friendly professional and helpful young employee Shantell. She provided the guidelines on how the ccard works and if you use Yelp you get an extra $5 bucks. I think this is the best wash house in the area and it's enjoyable place if you need to wash clothes. read more

Best value wash and fold in the area. I live in a place without laundry on-site and work pretty late hours, this place has saved me more than once when needing to do laundry. Staff is super helpful and nice. I feel more people come here looking for quick turnarounds for their wash and fold, but timing seemed easily negotiable. I came early on a weekday to do one load of wash and 1 30 minute session of the dryer. It is a clean spacious facility. I am glad there is parking in a lot. I come in this area since more than 6 years. I go to all the store ,especially to lee coffee shop and he has no restroom . Before he had a key of the laundromat restroom ,but they change the owner. Sometimes I come and buy a soda in their machine. I went to the donut shop, and it just didn't make any sense to go to another laundromat when this one was right there. The place had obviously been renovated. Fairly new looking machines. Clean. I did notice the lights were turned off, conserving energy? There was a large machine for $6.00, that handled 3 comforters at a time. A little more exspensive than the other place, but the capacity of the machine was better & my clothes seemed to come out cleaner. The clientele was diverse, there was free WiFi. read more

I read the review before coming and felt optimistic, but uncertain. This place is great. Very clean (for a laundromat, I mean what do you expect). The floors were spotless and the washers smelled as if they're a re cleaned and attended to regularly. The gentleman on-site was helpful and was happy to assist with logging in to their FREE WiFi!! The prices are fair and the environment is pleasant, plus I get to work while I wash, SOLDDDDD! I'm no laundromat connoisseur, but I reckon this is a great spot to wash your clothes folks!! read more

The machines here are old and unreliable. Twice in a row now, I've had to wait over an hour for a load of laundry to wash and it's always when an attendant is not around. There's no way to know if you'll get a properly working machine or not. The gamble is not worth my time and money anymore. read more

I came in here for a quick bedding changeover, and I needed hot water. I used 2 machines in the first row of white $2 washing machines as you walk in the door. I Selected hot, and I got lots of water coming through when I was putting in my detergent, but it felt cold. On my other load I selected cold water wash and barely any water was running through the detergent dispenser. When I put it on hot again, I got full pressure and cold water. If you are trying to disinfect your laundry I need hot water don't come here. read more

Attendant was super unhelpful when I had an issue with one of the washers (admittedly putting something in the washer was my fault, but being told that once the machine locks it can't be opened is frustrating). Then when I asked for quarters on my credit card, I was told that $10 was too much, which when one of the large dryers costs $8.50 is not a stretch. Might try doing my laundry elsewhere. read more

Always clean when I come and attendant is always on duty. They have a couple TV's so you can stay on top of TV shows while washing, and they accept credit or debit for washing.....cool right? I find the patrons to be mixed and communicable peeps! This location is down the street from my job, and I appreciate that the place is TLC from the attendants. The new owners are trying hard to improve this place. I've been doing my laundry here since 2002 and I look forward to more improvements. I was just there yesterday. It was, how shall i say, a relief to be able to use the restroom, which had previously been off limits to customers. Thank you! There is now free wifi! I got on the wifi and was reading e-mails. Then a couple began streaming a movie on their computer and I could no longer access the wifi until they left. Also, it seems to work only in the front of the place. I was sitting on a bench halfway back waiting for my dryer and there was no connection. Granted i don't go to a laundromat just to use the wifi, but it was annoying. I'd have brought a book if i'd known it was so... so... weak. I look forward to more improvements. I wish the new owners all the best. It's nice that the place is now being taken care of. read more

My first time there. I had just moved to the area, and my duplex has neither a washer drier nor laundry facility near by. So I had three weeks worth of laundry! Decided to treat my self to the fluff and fold for $0.99/lb. Turns out I had almost 60 lbs! Dropped it off around 10:30, they told me it would be done by 7:30. The woman was very helpful in getting everything weighed, and I was on my way. When I came in at 7:30, the gentleman there now knew exactly who I was, my laundry was neatly folded, waiting for me in three bags, and he helped me load it into the car. In and out, a pleasure. And when I started putting everything away, it was great to discover my socks were all paired off, everything was neatly folded and sorted, shirts with shirts, etc. Certainly more organized and neater than I would ever do myself!! And at least a dozen drier sheets were used! I don't know, once I get into a weekly routine, how often I'd use the fluff and fold, but this one time it was an extravagance well worth the extra money. I'm guessing it would have cost about $25 and my own time to do it half as well. They have wifi, so I can see hanging out with my laptop, but this worked too. read more

Too expensive $4.50 for a wash. Dog poop on floor and only 4 baskets in the laundry mat. Dirty place not a place to take dirty clothes to get cleaned. I normally go to Alameda but wanted something closer to Emeryville in order to avoid Raider game traffic. The amount I spent here I would have rather spent in gas going elsewhere. Even detergents and bounce is priced .75 to 1.00 more than the average laundry mat. read more

I've been using the Super Wash, wash and fold service for a few months. The attendants are actually very nice and it was very convenient with my crazy schedule. The clothes are cleaned and folded really nicely. They have helped carry laundry to the car which I appreciate. It started out good but this last go round some of my clothes were missing. To his credit the owner was very responsive and did offer to reimburse the cost of the lost items but he actually ended up finding the clothes. I appreciate the accountability but lesson learned. Things happen and I'd recommend them but make sure you keep track of your clothes. read more

it's clear when someone is giving a false review. they call a place clean when there is actually dirt everywhere and at least six foam ceiling tiles molded through or already fallen. if this place is reasonably priced then I would hate to see what an expensive laundromat's rates are. to be clear they were $0.25 per six minutes of drying. if a normal load takes about an hour for a dry then i'm surprised to learn that $2.50 is inexpensive just for drying. the real kicker for a first time visitor was to be bizarrely threatened by a man who was loitering in the parking lot. I had already gotten into the laundromat when he came inside, approached me, stared at me like he wanted to kill me, muttered some aggressive words then clearly said "stay the f*** out of my business." several things to note: he was not homeless or crazy, I have never seen this person in my life, the "security guard" this place claims to have was conspicuously missing or chose to not intervene, the other patrons shook their heads like this was normal, the man then stood there posturing for a bit, then went outside and harassed people walking by. so yeah. I won't be going here again. good luck if you do. this place does not live up to any of its promises. read more

My girlfriend won't go here because the Asian guy who is ALWAYS there stares at her and handles her clothes if she's not there immediately when the wash stops. Plus, the hours say they're open to 10 but he's a total DICK about getting out of there by 9:30. I saw him get into a fight with a guy doing laundry there after the guy's machine ate his money. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Pretty sure this place is literally a scam. I put $4 in a machine, then it stopped accepting quarters and wouldn't give any back. One guy told me the same thing happened to him on another machine. There are signs everywhere saying "Ask the attendant to help," but of course there's no attendant.
