Second time here in a year. Decent food. On this trip we shared a burger, no cheese, and lava fries. Both were tasty and did its job, which was to soak up all the wine & sparkling wine that we had drank earlier. The staff is friendly, the food comes out fast & there's ample parking due to it being in a small shopping center with Starbucks, Oliver's Market and a few other stores. And it's conveniently located just a few stoplights once you get off Highway 101.

Chili Dog- hot dog split down the middle lengthwise, chili and onions on a toasted bun

SuperBurger- Windsor California I went to SuperBurger in Windsor at dinner time for dine in. The ordering counter and dining area looked great! Super clean and organized, well decorated. There is a condiment bar that is obviously maintained to keep it orderly and clean. There is indoor dining that stretches into an outdoor patio. It makes for a super cool and relaxing vibe. The service was warm and welcoming, and it's apparent that the restaurant is kept clean. Chili Dog- the hot dog itself was of good quality. It was split lengthwise and grilled, and placed upon a good quality toasted hot dog bun of good size. It was topped with chili and purple onions. This was a great choice! The hot dog was tasty and the chili was flavorful but not at all spicy, which is a good base upon which to add provided peppers, hot sauce and other things from the condiment bar. Half and Half- In this case fries and onion rings, but you get to choose your sides. The fries were fresh and crisp and had good flavor. The onion rings however were not good. I really wanted to like them, but ended up eating just 1 and a half rings. The batter was just too heavy, and was mushy under the browned crust. And the breading was holding tons of oil like a sponge. The onions were mealy. If I were to guess, I would think that perhaps the fryer oil wasn't hot enough before adding the rings, or the batter had too much dry ingredients, maybe both. They were just not pleasant to eat. I favor a light to medium coating of batter, and this was just so heavy and oily. Tater Tots- talk about comfort food! These were actually perfectly executed! Crisp outside and warm and flavorful inside. These were a treat! I would get a full order of these next time and I would "condiment" them from the bar with stuff I would put on a baked potato! Yum! Grilled cheese- while maybe not a ton of folks order grilled cheese at a restaurant, this is actually a pretty fair test of ingredients, technique, and pricing! This one was on solid quality bread, well grilled, and will you check out that LOAD of CHEESE!! Well done, SuperBurger!! This is a great option for a casual bite in a relaxed setting, great for kids and family. It's a great part of central Windsor!

The smaller Town & Country cheeseburger, they always come cooked "medium".

Burgers are always cooked "medium" unless you specify. They don't ask when you order, so if you like it otherwise, this is your heads up to speak up when you order.

I hate this restaurant so much. Chicken burger...why is the chicken 2x the size of the bun? Am I supposed to naw on the chicken before I get to the burger?

    Crispy Chipotle Chicken Sandwich

Great service. Very friendly staff, very attentive. Ordered the mushroom swiss burger and the Chipotle fried chicken sandwhich. Love the batter and cripiniess of the chicken sandwhich. Also got the orange dreamsicle shake, also good. Milkshake portion is big, so good for sharing.

We LOVE super burger! We probably get take out from here 3-4 times a month, no joke! The burgers are "super" in taste and size, but they have a regular burger size option called the town and country. It's available in all the regular super burger options. (And there's a lot) The chicken sandwiches are great too! The fries and onion rings are plentiful, a medium can feel 2-3 people no problem. They have a fantastic beer list and offer the alcoholic root beer we love. It's the only place in town we can find it. The only downside is they won't take a card over the phone, so use their website or DoorDash if you need your food picked up by someone else. They also usually put more bacon on the burgers, not totally sure what happened today, but the bacon is usually plentiful.

Beer and wine menu at Superburger at the Bell Village Shopping Center in Windsor.

With five locations through the metropolitan area of Santa Rosa, California, Superburger is a locally owned and operated burger franchise that has been around since the early 1950's, which means generations have been enjoying their signature burgers. I've had my eye on coming to this location of Superburger, which is located in the still relatively new Bell Village Shopping Center in the heart of the suburb that is Windsor, north of Santa Rosa, across from a new location of Starbucks and local grocer Oliver's Market. And I finally got the chance to come to this location of Superburger when a friend and I were looking for a little bit of a sobering cleanse from an afternoon of wine tasting in nearby Healdsburg. As we both scourged around our Yelp apps for affordable nearby burger places, look what would happen to pop up but this location of Superburger? A simple drive down Highway 101 and disembarking off of the Old Redwood Highway/ Central Windsor exit and two additional right hand turns and you're there as this location of Superburger stands out for being in a stand alone building and for the interior resembling the interior of a garage, complete with rollup doors which separate their interior dining room, which now just serves as their ordering and pickup counter, and their open air outdoor patio, which nicely has shades that are pulled down to block out the sun during those warm days. The menu at Superburger is broken down into various sections, including their signature Burgers and Fresh Fixings, their Town and Country Burgers and Fresh Fixings, their Fancy Burgers and Fresh Fixings, Sides, Chicken Sandwiches and Fresh Fixings, and Wieners and Hot Links. Since my friend and I had just completed an afternoon of wine tastings and food pairings, we weren't both super hungry as we were just looking for a quick sobering pick us ups and so we decided to order and split their Superburger with no cheese, which featured a fresh seven ounce ground hamburger served with shredded lettuce, tomato and red onion and served on a sesame seeded bun, which is locally baked. To pair with our split burger, we also were intrigued by an item that was on a special item menu, which was their Lava Fries, which were crispy shoestring fries smothered in warm rich white cheddar cheese sauce. Since we were already trying our best to resolve whatever hangovers we may have, we thought two glasses of water would be enough to satisfy our parched tongues, so our total bill was $16.22 before tip. As we took some seats at a table out on their outdoor patio, it took about ten to fifteen minutes for our food to come out, which only meant it was freshly prepared upon order. And thankfully the burger was pre-split so we each able to enjoy our respective halves, I was slightly disappointed the burger was cooked to medium well as the menu did state that, but honestly the meat was in fact well done, which I know has to be done for meat safety reasons, but I always it could be cooked a little lighter as it was a little too over-charred for my taste. The fries were solid if someone unremarkable, as perhaps upon realizing that they use frozen shoestring fries, instead of crinkle cut or steak fries, as this type of fry isn't necessarily conducive to pair with a cheese sauce. Did we get the best deal for our seventeen dollar bill? That's debatable, but what cannot be denied is that Superburger serves up quality food items that hit the spot in a region that could use more places like these. Where else can you get a solid burger and fries that isn't a derivative of a fast food joint. This location of Superburger is quaint and clean and the perfect road stop after a long day of enjoying the libations that this area of wine country has to offer. I love their location right off of Highway 101 as it is easy to get to and they have free parking. I can't wait to one day return and try one of their Milk Shakes or Malts, and I counted no fewer that eighteen different flavors that their menu had. Plus other options on their menu, ranging from their Chicken Sandwiches to their Thick Cut Beer Battered Onion Rings, sound divine and the fact that everything seems to be prepared and cooked in-house, which in turn accounts for a longer meal one can wait for, makes for an exceptional family-owned burger joint and the fact that they continue to thrive with multiple locations in the metro Santa Rosa area is something we should all be celebrating and supporting.

    Cheese Superburger

Came across this little gem while driving up the 101 and so glad we stopped in. The kids loved the cheeseburgers, nuggets, and tater tots. I tried the Superburger and it lived up to the name. Our server was Super nice and we will definitely come back!

Overcooked, poor timing, very disappointing…read more We had reservations for 13 (including toddler and infant) on Mother's Day- with 4 generations of moms (grandma is 101). We've used this location in the past multiple times for gatherings due to convince when it was Charlie's. We had the small banquet room reserved - and we were shocked that on Mother's Day there were no table clothes. We ate on industrial plastic covered tables. No flowers - nothing. I believe our waitress was covering our party as well as others but not sure. Menu was simple breakfast options - omelet, eggs Benedict, chilaquiles... nothing crazy. Given the holiday we visited while waiting to order and get settled- which was quite some time. This doesn't affect the rating as we understand the demands of the day. When our food finally arrived the first people served - my brother in law, niece's boyfriend and cousin - none of which sat next to one another. Mothers should've been served first or at the very least my 101yr old grandmother- who was the LAST to be served. I ordered eggs Benedict- potato's over cooker, egg was solid / overcooked, muffin not cooked and the ham slices were cold and dry. It took great effort to cut with a butter knife - I had to pick up. It was not pleasant. My mother had the same and felt the same, sister had the Florentine Benedict and her eggs overcooked and potato's dry and over cooked. My mother in law ordered the only omelette (house) which had jalapeño s that were in big chunks she began pulling them out as it was unpleasant to eat chunks of jalapeños. She said her omelette was ok but only ate half and left her potato's. The photo posted is her finished plate My grandma ordered two eggs over easy which were also hard she got a stip of bacon and one sausage- she said her potato's were overcooked as well as her egg which was hard . $700 bill with over half the room having iced tea,/ non alcoholic beverages. I hope the owner reads this and makes changes- holidays/ special occasions should have linens at the very least. The guests of honor should be served first and acknowledged first. I can understand that one order of eggs Benedict is improperly cooked but ALL orders of eggs were overcooked. With such a limited "special" menu which seemed pretty normal- one would think the kitchen staff would be able to execute it properly. As mentioned we've used this location in the past for family events - 25-50 people depending on occasion. Such as let down on Mother's Day.

So once a year for two weeks,Russian River Brewing becomes the beer mecca on the planet-for two…read moreweeks they release their triple IPA Pliny The Younger. People come from from all over the planet to fly in for a chance to be able to taste this amazing brew each year and this year,I decided to join them and go out to try and get my hands on Pliny The Younger. The release this year was from March 20th 2026 to April 2nd 2026. So 1st thing we had to do was decide which location we wanted to go to-They have a downtown Santa Rosa location and a much bigger location located in Windsor. I decided to go to Windsor because I was told the parking lot was much bigger and the dining area has a larger capacity-not sure if that's true but was good enough for me. We left Sacramento a bit after 6am and we arrived in Windsor around 830am. When we arrived, there was already a line of probably around 75-100 people. So we just grabbed our spot in line and we waited until they opened up the dining area at 11am-Hoping to get seated in the first wave. We were told before we went out there that if we were lucky the wait would be from 2-3 hours and if we were unlucky it could be up to 6 hours. Well I can really explain it but the somehow the time flew by-not sure if it was the people we were in line with, who were all in the best of moods or if it was just the anticipation of doing something really fun. They were true pros the way they had the line setup-totally organized and they even have heat-lamps out there to keep everyone warm, while we waited. Well today was our lucky day because my buddy and I got seated in the first wave. The dining area was really big with so many table options, multiple rooms for seating available and they even had a bar area and an area where you could sit around a fireplace-like area. The wait staff was really awesome at this restaurant-each person working was even nicer than the next. How it works during Younger release event is like this. -They give you a wristband with 3 numbered pull tabs on it that allows each customer to get 3 pours and then at the end of their meal we are allowed to buy 3 bottles of the highly coveted release Pliny The Younger. The price point for these beers were $6.75 for each pour and around $13.00 for each take home bottle. While I was there I also had a taste of Blind Pig and Tempo Change-those were like $1.25 each for a tasting of those two beers. One thing I didn't quite have a scope of before going to this event in person was the high quality of food offered at Russian River Brewing. I made a double mistake of eating while I was in line and also making plans to eat at another place after this event. So I missed out on really diving into their pretty impressive offerings of food.I will for sure be doing that on my next visit-they had darn near everything you would expect a brewery to offer and it all looked so delicious. Well let's talk about why I was here-Pliny The Younger. I am 100% an IPA fan-it's always my beer of choice-So Pliny the Younger being a Triple IPA-I knew I was going to enjoy it.This beer historically is rated near 100 every year and this years release didn't disappoint. It was the smoothest triple I've ever had the pleasure of drinking and I've had more than a few in my day. This was the best Triple IPA I've ever had. Final thought-Was the experience worth it and would I do it again? Yes & Yes-my only regret is that I didn't do this many years ago when I first heard about it.I do plan on making this an annual pilgrimage.

They have the best selection of beers on tap, from local to Belgian styles, there's something for everyone. The service is fast and friendly with a lot of personality in each server. The food is usually great with typical American style choices, like burgers, wraps, fries, and great appetizers. This time I got the pulled pork sandwich with some barbecue sauce and my brothers got the kale salad with bacon. Both were very good. So many great beers, but if I had to choose one, it would be mind circus, hazy IPA. They have a normal dining area with table tops or booth seating, as well as a dog-friendly dining area near the bar that's also indoors. Outside, they allow drinks, but no food. Also a great place to bring your dog if you have one. Don't forget to check out the merch store before you leave for some clothes and beer for the road.
