My favorite fast food place. We were looking for a quick lunch on our way to Safari West, I'm so glad we stopped here because the food is delicious, quick, and my kids will eat it. For future Christina one son ended up eating a side of fries, the other son just wanted the hamburger buns and fries, I ended up eating his hamburger patty, but I also got a double cheeseburger protein style. I used to get animal style fries, but I love the plain fries too, and this gives me the ability to share with the kids. The food comes out quickly and taste super fresh. There's lots of seating inside and outside, although we came during an off time at about 2 PM so I don't know how busy this place gets during or standard eating times. In-N-Out is always a great roadtrip meal and we stopped by this location on our way back to SF after a weekend away for a late lunch. Luckily the parking lot wasn't completely full and we were able to dine-in. I got my usual order, a double double animal style, protein style (in a lettuce wrap). Ordering was easy and we got our food pretty quickly. The staff is usually friendly and we were happy to be in and out within 30 minutes. Had a really great experience here today and tried a couple techniques from their secret menu. I ordered the number one combo asking for the burger to be mustard fried and added chopped chilies. I also requested my fries to be well done since they usually are always sad and soggy. Well done fries is the way to go as you get crispy fries and asking for your burger to be mustard fried with chopped chilies really elevates the flavor and is my new favorite way to eat them and the best part is there was no extra charges for these additions. The drive thru line was long however that wasn't an issue as it moved at a decent speed and it didn't take long to get my order. The service was great and the employees were friendly and had no issues with the upgrades to my meal. The service counter was great! The service staff where great! The food was the worst,no flavor on meat,dried out and was so small it did not fit the bun. We basically ate lett,Tom and onion. Bun was burnt and dried out. The worst was our stomach's turned after eating. We noticed in the Trader Joe's waiting in the bathroom line the couple that sat behinds at in and out. 2 stars because the burger is a decent burger. The best? No. But I wish I took the name of the person who took our order. He was snappy and rude. I mentioned that I do not want pickles on my burger. My husband is the one ordering. He got it right. The In and Out worker went over the order and my husband clarified something, as he thought the order wasnt right when read back. He mentioned no pickles for the burger I wanted. The worker snappily said that they do not put pickles on their burgers, and was annoyed that my husband was just confirming the order was right. If you are on a road trip and want a quick detour along 101 this is the only place in a long stretch of miles!! I am mostly a "five guys" fan but today we were in a hurry and wanted a quick light bite. Long long long drive thru line so we decided to park at the restaurant and walk in and go the old way! I am so glad we did that coz we got our order in less than 10 mins :) definitely we were in & out of there in quite a jiffy :) Clean and multiple restrooms is always a plus when you are taking a break on your road trip. In $14, we got: - cheeseburger with double patty 3/5 - hamburger - 3/5 with single patty no cheese - fries - 2/5 too thin for my liking (i love five guys cajun fries) - chocolate milkshake - 5/5 yummy You should ask for their secret spread - its a pink yummy sauce that made my fries bearable. The beef patty in the burgers is 1/4 th the size of five guys burgers but this worked out fine for us coz we wanted a light bite. In-N-Out is easily one of my favorite spots -- a California staple that I usually treat myself to once a month (sometimes every other month). The food is consistently good, and normally I leave satisfied. That being said, my most recent visit was a bit of a bummer. I ordered a Double-Double, was charged for it, but when I got home (about 10-15 minutes away) I realized I had only been given a single cheeseburger. It may not seem like a huge deal, but it was disappointing since I really wanted a Double-Double after walking my 2 dogs in Howarth Park. If I had caught it right away, I would've gone back or asked at the window, but being in the drive-thru I didn't notice until I was already home. Mistakes happen, and I get that, but it's still frustrating when you're looking forward to something specific. I'll still come back -- because In-N-Out is one of my favorites -- but I hope the order accuracy improves. Especially if this location is closest to me. First time at this location to dine in. As soon as I entered I was greeted with a smile, then again at the register. It was warm and welcoming. Loved that. The restaurant is super clean! One of the team members offered stickers and a hat for my toddler, that was so sweet, another offered a high chair. I really like how attentive they were. It's an In-N-Out. Love their food. Particularly the fries. It's clean. Honest. And has the same floor plan as just about every other one. I'd give it a 5 out of 5 but their name is misleading... It should be in-wait a long time before food-out. There's nothing particularly in-n-out when it comes to in-n-out, particularly for drive thru orders. But to be honest, though it can take awhile and the lines can be long, it's worth it. You just have to go in with the right mindset and understand this isn't just another fast food joint. It's more of a burger restaurant where they wait to make your food until after you order it. And with fresh ingredients! Plus it's busy because it's so darn good! This location is solid but when it's busy the parking lot can be a fiasco. Woosah! Those tasty fries will be in your mouth soon. And don't forget about the not so secret, secret menu options: Changing up the amount of meat and cheese is normal ie 3x3 or 4x4 (I miss the days when there was no limit, I myself couldn't get past the 9x9), and add some solid flavor by making it "Animal Style" which adds a thousand island-esque sauce. Burgers can be cooked medium-rare, well done or even mustard grilled by request. There's also a grilled cheese vegetarian-friendly option. When it comes to the tasty fries that I covet the most, you can ask for their level of done-ness but I think they hit the mark as is...though adding cheese or animal style to the fries is definitely worth the upgrade! Really disappointed by this In-N-Out experience. Usually In-N-Out is one of my go-to fast food places but the infrastructure in this location is terrible. The drive-thru line clashes directly with the parking area which makes it problematic to get around. Additionally the person taking my order completely forgot a burger that I asked for and so they had me park and told me that someone would come outside to give it to me. Fifteen minutes go by and no one comes outside. And then I go inside and end up waiting another fifteen minutes for one burger. A grand total of thirty minutes because someone forgot to include my burger in the full order. Never coming back here again. read more

After my last experience, I called the Customer Survey number to explain what happened. The representative was very pleasant and sent me a gift card for a complimentary Double Double meal. I went to this location early today to get my meal to eat inside. As they were calling numbers and my number was getting close I walked up to the counter to see they had just placed the order in a tray when the young lady who was calling out the numbers just walked away. As my meal, sat no team member seemed concerned about getting the meal out. As I stared at my meal for over 5 minutes, an In & Out member who appeared to be in charge but on the phone called the young lady back to start handing out orders. My meal at this point was luke warm. When sharing the experience with my spouse, they stated "well that's on you, why did you go back to that location when you have already experienced how they don't really care". Unfortunately my spouse was right. I will be taking a longer drive from now on when I am in the mood for an In & Out burger. read more

What can i say? This food was absolutely life changing! I eat in n out and it's amazing. The workers are always nice and they almost always get my order right. Ok so i got a cheeseburger and fries. Scrumptious! The bun had a nice crunch and the fries were perfectly salted and not soggy. Soggy fries feel like when you have a sock on and step on a puddle of water, absolutely foul. So you did a great job on the fries and the burger. The coke here is super good to and i'm so happy they now have cherry coke because i like it!! It's also never to hot In N Out, which i appreciate. It's also never too cold which is good. The lights are on and it's nice because i prefer to not sit in the dark. 5/5 will be coming back because i always do. read more

A gentle man had fell with his drink the staff had a caution wet floor sign out in the area before the gentleman had fallen. Quickly preformed their job in cleaning it up in the process before completing another gentleman ignored the wet floor sign subsequently falling at his own ignorance. I was five days into fighting a virus recently and just needed some comfort food after days of non-stop liquids. The drive-thru line was long but moved quickly; there was a staff person in the line taking orders. He and the other staff I encountered were thankfully wearing masks. The food is made with very fresh ingredients. The kitchen is open and you can watch the staff preparing orders while you wait. I got the #1 double double combo and it is a big burger. There's so many toppings on the burger, fresh crunchy lettuce, tomato and I added onions. The sauce is not overwhelming and the patties are cooked juicy but well done. Great portion for the price. I was hungry, it was lunch time and I had an appointment in thirty minutes so I stopped at the In an Out on Steel Lane in Santa Rosa. Food constantly above average for fast food. And it only cost me $11 for a double cheeseburger, ferrous fries and soft drink! The ambiance is consistently clean and bright. But Mauricio made my day. After I sat down and asked if I needed any thing condiments, refill of my drink, napkins. When I left he told me to have a nice day. I pay $100 at most restaurants and don't get that kind of service. Surpassed expectations. Mauricio was excellent but I must say whomever is training these kid is doing a great job. I am not a big fast food girl but when the craving hits for a burger, In-N-Out is where I go! I love their cheeseburger, protein style, animal style/no spread. Quite the mouthful. All that for like $2.50. It's a perfectly predictable burger wrapped in the most crisp iceberg lettuce. It's basically salad with a little protein. Their fries are .fine. Not my favorite, but I appreciate their freshness. Sometimes I can't believe my own self that I'll wait in those crazy long drive thru lines. We probably go here twice a week! It's amazing and the prices haven't skyrocketed as bad as everywhere else. I'm so glad they stand up for doing the right thing and serving their customers.
