4 1/2 stars Really good burgers and tots. The tots... OMG... So crispy and gold brown on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. Don't skip the tots!! The burger patties are bigger than the buns. A single patty is pretty large, couldn't imagine eating a double. I didn't order it, but I saw a lady at the next table with loaded tots. (Topped with chili). Next time, that's what I'm getting. My chicken tender sandwich was great. Tender juicy chicken with a seasoned crispy breading on a toasted sandwich roll. APR2026 Came by here on a whim and a burger craving. Hunger on my partners part is usually a good impetus for me to try something new if I can. This was a nice find overall. We've tried a few things through here. I've usually stuck to the mushroom jack chicken breast with avocado added. My partner has stuck to cheeseburgers. We've tried the onion rings, crinkle fries, tots, and garlic fries so far. Everything has worked well so far for our tastes. The burgers whether chicken or beef have been solid. Nothing has been dry meatwise, and cheese well melted. I'd want more lettuce or grilled onions personally but I'll have to see if that's even an option. The fried carbs have all been hot and crispy when we've gotten them which is great. Usually if we would get things as takeout, we'd just touch them up in the air fryer for crispness. An easy go to for us, we'll swing back through again sometime. read more

We got these burgers last week. There's been a lot of hype around them on Instagram so we went to give them a try. The burgers are generously big for what you get and if you do get fries, you can get double which is what we did. The place was okay. Not sure if it was an off day but normally, you can tell when a spot makes the meat for their burgers in house because a lot of times the meat is juicy and flavorful. The spot here did not taste like that. The actual meat did not have flavor. However the avocado and buns did give the burger a bit more flavor. We also got a cookies and cream kids shake to try and that was relatively good. The fries were also seasoned well and not overcooked or undercooked. Service was pretty quick. A rainy day calls for Machado Burgers! We ordered online for a pickup and the order was ready in about 15 minutes. When we arrived, we went to the walk up window and told them our name and was handed our order. The chocolate malt was amazing, this is one of my favorite places to get one. The patty melt was delicious, with grilled onions and a cheesy patty between toasted sourdough bread. The tater tots and garlic fries were crispy and paired well with the house made ranch. Having moved even closer to Machado Burgers, we come here pretty often now. Probably once every couple of weeks. It's a great quick, easy place with good burgers. I like that you can choose a single or a double... for those days when you feel extra piggish. Though, usually the single is more than enough. They're just good burgers for the price. You can get a cheeseburger here for $11.99 (as of writing of this review) which is really pretty decent. It's extra for fries, but if you're really low on funds, then you can at least get the dang burger. It's not too much for fries either. Especially for me and my husband, we each get a burger and share a 50/50 and it's really not bad. Nowadays, even a burger costs an arm and a leg. And so we appreciate Machado burgers for it's high quality burger at a decent price. I usually get the avocado and jack burger and he gets the bacon cheese burger. The tots are always fun, and I love the curly fries too. (Our usual standard) Also of note is the buffalo burger... burger with buffalo sauce and blue cheese over it. It's intense, but a good intense! I would eat it again. :) We've also gotten the breakfast sandwich, which is cheap, but note that it's actually quite a small sandwich. More of a weekday grab-and-go-to-work type of sandwich. All-in-all, it's great to have Machado Burger in the neighborhood. I'd like to try the piggy tots one day when I'm feel extra saucy. read more

Spent the weekend in Mendocino and after driving on 128 for almost 90 minutes, we were ready for a burger and my wife found Machado Burgers on Yelp and what a great menu! We got two single bbq bacon cheeseburgers that were huge and included onion rings! We got a basket of crinkle garlic fries and Arnold Palmers! And don't miss their homemade ranch dressing! We went to Machado Burgers as we were going to a show at the LBC that is close by. My wife and I had Cheeseburgers and shared a double order of onion rings. The order was called out and we picked it up. I can only speak on the food and not the facility, as I got it delivered to me. There were a variety of options on the menu, from bland plain hamburgers to deluxe hamburgers (pineapple, avocado, bacon, etc.). Overall, my burger was very good! I got the teriyaki burger. It was a large patty, might have even been 2 patties next to each other. All of the flavors tasted really good together, but I do wish there was more tomato on my burger. I also ordered half onion rings (sooo good, super crispy) and half curly fries, but received crinkle fries instead. I was a little bummed! The fries were nice and salty nonetheless. Solid burgers! It's a hot rod themed burger joint, with delicious burgers, tater tots and shakes. I personally love their avocado double burger. There's an indoor seating area, which is clean and comfortable, and there was even a small menu section for children, and another section for furry friends (dogs!). While waiting I noticed all the decor inside, I loved the theme burgers and cars. The owner Dustin took my order pleasantly with a smile. Earlier there was a classic car show that appeared to be over, but there were still a few people sitting around outside at the tables. If angus beef was a person it would be this burger. I'm so sad, I really was hoping it was going to be a good burger joint but was not what is was talked up to be. I had to go to the counter when I noticed everyone behind us had got their own orders and when I walked up they had our Oder sitting on the side they had just forgot to ring our order I guess.
