Wonderful people and I got a great haircut for my price that I paid one of the better Supercuts I have went to

Ya know what I figured out as an adult? Special salons (when it comes to hair cuts only) are mostly a scam. So I popped in here to just chop off the bottom 3 inches of my hair (which resembled broom bristles). Except I forgot that it was back to school hair cut time. I waiting for a pretty long time (like 40 ish minutes). Whatevs it's eclipse day. It's hard to be mad on a once in a lifetime experience day. Unless I live to be like, 120 years old. Anyways back to the hair cut. Once I hunkered down in the chair the wash and cut took maybe 20 minutes. I eschewed the blow dry cuz let's be real, I don't really trust these ladies to style my hair. Thirty bucks and I'm out. They're nice here and don't upsell or make you feel guilty about the state of your scalp or the amount of boxed dye you use on your hair. Try and reserve your place in line! read more

Went in at 2:00 told they would call me back between 3:00 and 4:00 (no call) I called back at 4:30 (because they still hadn't called me back) told they just took a walk-in and would have to wait even longer - this store has terrible management and customer service - not the first time this has happened here - too many to count - read more

Went to Supercuts to get a quote for a simple wash and blow dry for my thin and fine hair. Manager said $60 when I was expecting more like $30ish. Way over priced for just a blowout! So now I'm heading to the blowout lounge who specialize in blowouts and will be getting a haircut, wash, blow dry, and style for $65! read more

I've been coming here for 3 years now! I can barely even believe that. I've never frequented a particular salon for that amount of time. Victoria is my go to. She does such a wonderful job and really takes pride in her work. A fade is not something franchised salons usually excel in but Victoria knocks it out of the park here! read more

She gave me a great color and cut and was just so kind and attentive. I couldn't be happier and have found my new place...& much more affordable than my previous salon but quality was just as great. i don't like coming here, but will do so if i NEED a haircut. like severely need a haircut. like when i start to look like justin bieber... =/ i hate it when i start looking like him. i've had bad experiences and some horrible experiences. but mostly bad ones. there's this stylist over there that doesn't know fashion or how to be hip? i asked them to cut my hair in a way to make it look good for my facial structure. so, the "stylist" proceeded to give me a bowl hair cut. T_T. are you serious? just because i'm asian, she expect a bowl haircut would be good for me. dude, wtf. not cool at all. i bet she assumes i like to eat everything with a chopstick as well. well, bitch... i fork everything i eat. the only pro is the proximity to my house. otherwise, i'd go elsewhere. Despite the bad reviews on this location, i am actually happy with the haircut i received. my stylist's name was Victoria, and she was really good with making sure i got exactly what i wanted. however, halfway through my haircut, the manager came over and started telling my stylist what to do and how to cut my hair. i started getting worried cause i thought the manager lady was going to mess up my hair or something since people tend to cut hair differently... the manager started chopping my hair off and was teaching my stylist how to cut layers and a v-shape with her own technique which i thought was kinda cool... anyways im really happy with my haircut! both ladies were wonderful and now my hair isnt all limp anymore. it has some volume :) read more

Very friendly staff, no wait (we walked in, no appointment), and we were out of there in 35 minutes. I know that you get what you pay for, but we didn't even get that far! Arrived at Supercuts located close to Canyon HS on Imperial and Santa Ana Canyon, did a head count, three people waiting, ask about the wait time (30 minutes), and put my daughter's name in. On our way next door to get a smoothie a woman with two boys comes in. When we return one of the boys is just getting out of a chair, mom tells the stylist, I have another son who needs a haircut. Stylist, "Ok, we can do his hair too." At this point I get up and ask how much longer we need to wait. Same stylist replied, "You have to put your name in." I informed her that we already had. Another stylist comes up and says the same thing. I repeat myself. She checks the computer, no doubt seeing that my daughter has been skipped over. She lamely says, "You're on the list." We walked out and won't be back. You guys missed out on repeat customers who tip well. Your loss. read more

As a gentleman was being scissor cut, I sat and waited my turn since there was only one lady working there. When she finished, he paid and walked out. I was then called to the desk where she wanted my name, address, phone number and email. I just wanted a haircut, not a relationship, so I just gave her my first name only and that seemed to upset her a bit. Without getting a clean drape for me (she wanted to use the same one the gentleman had just used) she motioned for me to have a seat. The chair was still covered in hair clippings and the floor at the base of the chair was littered with clumps of hair. When I stepped toward the chair she immediately picked up the same scissors to use on me that she had used on the gentleman. Am I being over sensitive about cleanliness or is this normal operating procedures for SuperCuts? read more

I brought my 2 sons in for a haircut. The short lady at the front desk was very rude to begin with. I think her name was Gloria. She had such a bad attitude with us I don't know what her problem was. We were told that only 3 could wait inside and the rest had to wait outside. The wait wasn't much. Victoria was very patient and nice with my other son. While Gloria was cutting my sons hair she gave him a cut on the back of the ear and it started to bleed, didn't even seem sorry for it and just blamed my child that he moved too much. If you can't cut a child's hair right cause he moves then don't take that job. Very upset with the customer service that I had here. Sorry to say I will not be back. read more

First of all, I am a black male and if I could give this establishment a negative rating I would. I walked into Supercuts today for a haircut since it's close to my house. Last time I went to a Supercuts (around 10 years ago), I had a bad experience - the woman messed up my hair line and I haven't been to a Supercuts since. Today I took my chances. I spoke with Violet at the front desk and asked her specifically if she could cut my hair. I had explained to her my previous experience and she said, "Sure, of course I can!" I verified a couple of times, "Are you sure?" She confirmed, "Yes!" and brought me to her station. Things went down hill very quickly. I asked her for a shadow fade. She then asked me which blade to cut my hair with on the top and on the bottom. After we tried the various lengths, I then told her to make it all the same length. While she cut my hair, she combed my SHORT hair with a large wide tooth comb. I asked her, "What are you combing? I have short hair." I then asked her if I could use a brush to brush my hair down - to see if I was content with the length. She asked what I meant and I explained to her, "A brush. With bristles." As she looked for an appropriate brush, the stylist next to her told her multiple times, "We do not have any of those." My stylist brought back a brush that you would use for an individual with LONG hair. She actually attempted to brush my extremely SHORT hair/almost bald head with a brush designed for long hair. Another stylist and all of the patrons in the establishment began to laugh. I uncomfortably laughed with them - trying to make light of what was really happening. Whether it was my stylist's intention or not to make a mockery of me, I was and continue to be extremely upset with her actions. I felt as if she was making a joke of my hair that she so clearly had no idea how to handle. It would have been one thing if she had told me, from the beginning of our interaction, that she was not properly trained to handle my type of hair. It doesn't end there. I asked her to stop cutting my hair and she insisted on finishing the length all the way around and charging me $12 for a buzz cut. I told her "No you are not charging me for anything. Let me out of this chair." I got up and said, "Maybe I'll try Supercuts in another ten years." She said, "Maybe you shouldn't." And then I left. With my hair....half done. I immediately called my girl to vent about my terrible experience. No one should be treated like this - under any circumstance. Words cannot express how HURT I am. I felt like I was an animal in a zoo that everyone was looking at. I can't help but think that every patron there, went home to tell their husbands and wives about funny it was to see the black man try to get his hair cut at Supercuts. And if anyone were to ask me, "Well, why did you go to Supercuts?" The simple answer is, "Why not?" read more

Worst service ever !!! . I just moved in to the city and the closest Supercuts was this one . I got off of work late and decided to get my haircut . I showed up at this location at 7:05 pm a asian lady took my name and told me to wait a couple minutes . As soon as i sit down she takes a man that just got there before me . I was like ok cool it is a call in .20 min pass by the phone rings a tall lady with with white highlights , looks middle eastern picks up and answers " Hi Mike , yeah i have two clients , ok bye " .Another 20 min pass bye a tall caucasian man shows up and sits down . As soon as this same lady that picked up the phone is done with her client . She says "Mike your next" which is the person that just walked in recently. The asian lady that was working there said "wait the guy with the black shirt is next" which was me . The same lady that picked up the phone says " well Mike called in " . This whole time i waited heard the appointment made and i still got passed up . 45 min at this place and i still get ignored. Bad customer service . After a hard 11hr workday and i get treated this way . WOW!!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK NEVER EVER. read more

I am re-fining my last one star review for two reasons..when I complained about the Dumb and Dumber bowl cut I received, the manager was extremely apologetic and re-cut my hair herself and was able to clean it up. So I did go when I got a coupon in the mail..and this time a lovely hairdresser by the name of Sungaria (I think) did my hair. She did a wonderful job..was thoughtful and took her time (I have a lot of hair). However, there is still this other woman in their who carried on the loudest conversation about buying a house or renting a house and would not shut up. I have a long and wavy hair, so I am very nervous when new stylists cut and blow dry my hair. Victoria and Kristina, two very nice and super friendly ladies, were working and they made me feel very welcome. Victoria cut my hair and it looks and feels amazing. She was funny, made me laugh, talked to me about interesting things. Kristina was also polite to all other customers in the waiting area. I was visiting Anaheim Hills and couldn't stand the helmet-hair that had unwittingly become my current look. I was also tired of paying $40-50 per haircut in the Bay Area so I took a chance at this local Supercuts. I was not disappointed. In comparison to other supercuts I've been to, this one went above and beyond in their service for me. I cannot express the hospitality they had for me. A shorter lady gave me a haircut as if she was giving one to her own son. She made sure there weren't any flaws in my hair even after I checked it myself. The refreshing warm towel was overwhelmingly refreshing. I will continue to come here for my future hair cuts. Cons: The aging and dated interior of this supercuts is below par in comparison to the supercuts in Eastvale. read more

I stopped by this salon for a blowout and flat iron style. It was way too hot to do it myself and I decided on a whim to treat myself. Nina assisted me. I have never been to a salon where I have left with exactly what I wanted. That is not until yesterday. Nina's blowout and flatiron styling of my hair was perfection. I dare say that the fancy "drybar" salon in Newport could not have done better. Nina was very pleasant . I went into the salon with conditioner in my hair and she took the time to thoroughly rinse it out. She also did not try to sell me any products after I told her I liked what I was using. I normally go to pon or another hair salon I love, but if I need a quick trim I'll come here. The price is too good. Today I was a little disappointed though. I came in before a bunch of people and waited over 20 minutes because they thought I was waiting for a particular stylist. They didn't take my name down when I came in & just said "oh about 5 minutes then we'll take you." It was extremely packed and they booked too many clients close together. Christina is so nice though & always apologizes & tries to fix things. Suganya & Nina are great to get a cut from. They both listen to your needs and don't go scissor happy! Especially if you have curly hair & worried that they might pull the curl down then cut. Overall a nice place for a cut, no color. I highly recommend making an appointment. read more

I love Christine ~ she's the BEST hair dresser I have ever gone to that didn't cost over $30.00 a visit. However, the owner of this place is flat out rude and a miserable person. I overheard some employees here complaining about this woman and after experiencing her not so friendly attitude, I don't have a problem believing what the employees had to say. No smile or greeting on the times she's waited on me. She even acted hassled on my first visit here! I felt really weird and was going to leave. I had a horrible experience with this company I will never get my hair cut or colors here ever again I went for highlights and a trim, the lady cut off 3 inches and it was uneven she butchered my layers and she put an ash based toner on my hair turning the blond green I am not amused. I should have listened to my husband and 2 sons who have tried this location at different times. They all said no matter what they told the stylist, it always came out too short. but since I had a photo of what I wanted, I thought that would take care of the problem. However, instead of the Jenna Elfman medium wavy curls in the photo, I got a Jamie Lee Curtis butch cut. And on top of that, the left side is noticeably longer than the right side. I don't dare go back to have that corrected as I'm afraid I'd end up bald. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would most definitely have done that! I just moved in to the area and considering all my usual spots are now a 30 min drive I decided to try some new places. If I knew this was going to be the outcome I would have stayed away from this place. I never thought a simple trim and cleaning up the "v cut" I already had would be this hard. But now I am left with crap that I have to deal with myself and am hopeful that my hair will grow back out again! I think the worst part about it is that I have specific instructions without being to demanding of what I wanted and was confirmed that I would only get like an inch off but ended up being almost 4 inches of hair! As well with many short layers that I never asked for! Then once it was revealed she proceeded to tell me that this look is better then what I had told her, like my intake was never important for her to consider but it's my hair!! This place needs to seriously analyze all of their hairstylists and actually see if they know what they are doing. At the end of it all its just very frustrating knowing you paid for something that you didn't even ask for. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone at least not the lady to the right at the first station! read more
