This Supercuts is not what it used to be. I've been coming to this location for 20 years. Overall, the stylists do a great job and I've come to known quite a few of them. Unfortunately, they hired a new stylist about 6 months ago. She is african american and I believe her name is Jai. I don't know if she is a supervisor or she is a new stylist. In the times I've been there she seems to have an attitude with the other stylists. She will overhear a conservation a stylist is having and will interject. When she talks to them she talks down to them. Very unprofessional and very disrespectful to them especially when customers are around. I feel bad for the hair stylists to have to put up with her. As a customer I can see the friction she is creating. It's not an enjoyable place to get your hair done and have someone who acts they are better than the other stylists. This person needs to be talked to from the management or ownership. I want to continue to go to this place to support the other hair stylists but it gets uncomfortable being around her. Lastly, the music is louder than it should be. Again I think it has something to do with Jai. I don't question the music selection but the music should be background level. Great stylists. The business owner is horrible. Who ever owns this business relays on technology way too much. They require reservations, which is fine but they put services too close together and you end up waiting longer than when they didn't have the broken system. Poorly run. I am 77 yrs old & a 17 yr customer. I have always been treated well by Christina & all the other stylists have treated me with respect & understanding - especially as I am now a senior disabled woman. I wasn't when I started going to this salon. Tried to make my usual request for an 11 o'clock appt since I am on a walker & need help getting there & help walking on a dangerous slippery walk to get to the washbasin. Christina is hard working, caring & always makes her clients feel cared for & respected. The manager (I confirmed her position not her name) asked me if I expected her to look over Christina's schedule for 11 o'clock appt over the next few days. I didn't have the schedule. She did. Condescending. She seemed bored that I was interrupting her schedule. Had no idea who I am. After years of having wonderful kind funny stylists taking less than 4 minutes to help me make an appt once a stylists confirms her schedule, she endangered Christina's clientele by making me feel like an irritation. Made me feel I would not want to go back into that room with my other challenges. She offered me an appt on Saturday & told her that would be fine. Asked if she matched my personal information with my phone number - good privacy practices as all the other stylists do -she only said she had my number. Never said my name. I wouldn't take time with this review as I never do them. Care too much about all the good people who work there especially Christina. If you don't know decent customer principles you should not be trying to sell us a product. She could benefit from some decent customer relations training. I will report this further. read more

I made appointment online and showed up on time and Mark did not respect my appointment nor his corporate website appointment granted to me. He said I should have called giving more disrespect to corporate and I arrived at 725 pm and they closed at 800pm. He said he's the only one and I can wait to see if maybe he can take me and there was another person working on another customer. I said so I can wait till 755pm for you to say you can't take me ? He said repeatedly Im just trying to be nice to you while he is not offering a solution like Sorry i will be delayed. As furious as I showed him I wasI didn't want to continue arguing I didn't think it was fare to both clients being worked on by supercuts. I'll be honest, when I first walked into Supercuts I wasn't expecting much--the place felt a little plain and I worried I was just going to get a quick, uneven trim and be out the door. But as soon as I sat in the chair, the stylist actually took the time to ask what I wanted and even gave me some advice on how to make my hair easier to manage. The conversation went from small talk to surprisingly fun, and before I knew it I was actually enjoying the whole experience. By the time the haircut was done, I looked way sharper than I expected, felt way more confident, and walked out with a smile. The price is also very reasonable for a haircut. Not as expensive as in other place like Yorba Linda. My daughter's hair color was an easy fix. Just put a little color on a few gray strands. He did a major weave on her hair putting all this red color on . Her hair turned orange. We have been in the salon for 3 hours still not done. Moral of the story just go to super cuts for a haircut, never a color. read more

I was coming here ritually when I lived in Anaheim Hills. I moved to the beach and tried a local Supercuts multiple times and they were horrible. I now will drive 45 minutes to go see Christina. I've come here a few times and today was the last. Pulled up the app @ 2:07 next check in is 2:20 and 4 stylists working. Checked in and headed over. Walk in @ 2:15 and see 1 person waiting and 3 in chairs. Great. 2:20 app texts me I'm checked in. 2:25 another customer walks in says he checked in online. No problem. 2:30 customer waiting when I got there gets served. 2:35 customer that walked in gets served. The entire time I'm waiting you can hear someone in the back coughing up a lung. Hope it isn't the 4th stylist... Somewhere around 2:35 stylist finishes and starts cleaning her area. Around 2:40 another stylist finshes and starts cleaning her area. Looks like a stand off between 2 stylists with empty chairs waiting to see if the other will help me. 2:45 the person coughing comes back from their break and is joking with the 2 free stylists about needing to wear a mask and maybe not coming in tomorrow because they don't feel good. 2:50 3 empty chairs and now it's looking like a coin flip on which stylist I'll get. Don't care to get coughed on while I sit in a chair and I have 15 minutes left for my lunch. I'm out. Waited 30 minutes after check in only to leave with 3 empty chairs and 3 stylists doing nothing. The bonus was the clearly sick stylist hacking for a half hour only to emerge and start deliberating on helping me. Ladies - it's lunch time in the middle of the work week. Some of us are on a clock. honestly I wish I could rate this store a zero star. I am actually in shock from the horrendous haircut that someone was allowed to give my boyfriend. all he asked for was a fade. they screwed up his hair so badly, and we had to go to a different place to fix it. she went too hard with the clippers, and gave him three bald spots, and then made the haircut super uneven. I literally cannot believe that this person passed cosmetology school. at least we found another place to fix his hair. read more

I had a 9AM appointment. The worker showed up at 8:59AM and locked the door behind her. After 8 minutes of making me stand out front in the hot sun, she finally let me in with no apology or a "thank you for waiting". She told me she would be right with me and to sit in the middle chair. After I'm seated, she tells me she has to take some other guy first who walked in after me. I walked out. I'm done with this place. Hire more people or shut it down. We EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the service we did NOT receive at this Supercuts location. Our family has been coming here for months/ year, and sadly the disappointed us. Our child had an appointment (made online) for 11:00 am yet at 11:40 we were still waiting while others we being served before us after entering after us. When I inquired at 11:30 am as to why our son was being bypassed for his appointment, the receptionist told me the stylist was almost done even though we did not select a stylist. instead we had to inject when our son was bypassed again with the excuse (the receptionist) I told you the other people had an appointment (scheduled for after 11 am) and requested a stylist. They did not care that our child had an appointment and had been waiting patiently for 45 minutes! WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND WOULD RECOMMEND THAT OTHERS AVOID THIS LOCATION AS WELL. APPOINTMENTS DON'T MATTER AND NEITHER DOES CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I stopped by for a haircut on 5:45 Thursday evening. The sign on the door indicated they should be open until 6 PM. No customers were in the business. I motioned and pointed to the sign indicating their hours they were supposed to be open and the employee counting the register essentially ignored me. I guess they took it upon themselves to call it a day early and go home. Lazy rude employees will ruin your business every time! A sign of the tines I suppose. read more

I arrived 5 minutes early to find that a walk in had taken my spot and I was advised that I had a 25 minute wait. How painfully unprofessional and an incredible lack of customer service. not sure if this will matter or not as i believe that the stylist are all independent but this has been the worst experience ever... there is no point in making reservations.... even though we had made reservations the stylist kept taking others who were walk-ins. at least one stylist tried to tell the other that my family was here before the others one stylist completely skipped my daughter and went onto someone else WTF... I went yesterday and called in the morning to make an appointment at 12:30. This place was completely disorganized and one lady in particular was very rude and had bad customer service. I arrived 15 minutes early and no one checked me in. When it was 20 minutes passed my appointment time, I kept telling staff that I had an appointment and they kept telling me to wait. When they took me, Gloria said "oh you have an appointment?" Yes, that's what I've been telling your staff. "Oh you were late." "No I wasn't, I came 15 minutes early."
