Absolute worst haircut I've ever had in my life. I asked for a trim and long layers and she hacked at my hair and gave me the choppiest cut you've ever seen. She also asked me extremely inappropriate and unprofessional questions during the haircut about politics and my ethnicity. It was very rude and uncomfortable. My hair was thick and long before the cut and I simply wanted some maintenance to keep it healthy..left with my hair thinned out, choppy, and much shorter than I asked. I went to a better salon immediately after to get it fixed, and the stylist there was appalled at what had been done to my hair. My recommendation would be to keep your hair far, far away from this salon. If you're looking for something more affordable, you're probably better off at a Supercuts than this place. read more

I have not had my hair cut in 13 years. I finally decided to cut it. In the distant past I had a horrible experience with a hair dresser so I I only cut my hair 1 time before this so.. I work close by here and see these ladies work... So I booked an appointment with Lili. She listened to what I wanted and did it perfectly! I have really thick hair and there's a lot of it but she just went about cutting and shaping and made my hair pretty again. I have difficult hair too so she checked on it a few days later and did some light trim on it and the lady Cindy French braided my hair! While outside (as per regulations), she cuts hair in the shade to avoid the heat. She's very detail oriented and methodical which I think is what is typically missing in the chain stores like Supercuts. Better yet, she's a great conversationalist. My family have been to Experts Cuts for many years. It has always been a fantastic result, boys cuts, mens cuts, women cuts, color and style. All the hairdressers are very professional and have been there for a long time but are always very current on styles and product. Lili is the person I go to if she is available since I know her the longest, and I have never had a bad cut or an outcome I didn't ask for. She is truly genius when it comes to making the style work for you. She will also tell you if that style will not work for you, due to hair differences. She takes the time to do things right. I got a really bad haircut, so bad I went to another place the same day to get it fixed. Jennifer cut my hair. I asked for long layers and brought in a picture. The haircut is $18 dollars but that is it, nothing else but a haircut. I would have appreciated it if the stylist had told me what $18 entailed because as she cut my hair she was only spritzing my hair with a bottle of water. I had to asked to get shampooed, which is an additional $2. Jennifer is nice and she seemed to be confident in what she was doing. She pulled my hair straight up and cut it at an angle, she even told me this would keep the length and give me the fuller layers that I wanted. As the haircut was done she left me with a head of wet hair. I had asked if I was going to get it blow-dry and that I didn't mind paying more. She muttered there was another customer waiting...at this point I'm a bit lost for words because I am a paying customer. So I ended up blow drying my own hair. To be honest from the front the haircut didn't look bad. I actually thought "OO this is nice." I couldn't see the back too well and figured it looked good as well. When I went home the first thing my brother told me was "what the hell happened to your hair, it's ugly." Apparently the back looked like a chop job, as if a section was missing in the middle and the layers didn't have a natural progression. The next hairstylist I went to asked me what happen, my hair was uneven and looked kind of like a mullet. I felt pretty sad because I had such nice long hair. Could I have gone back and demanded my money or another haircut? Who knows...probably, but I didn't want to deal with it. This is what I get for looking at the overall rating of a place and not doing research on the stylist. This will never happen again, I can't keep spending years growing out my hair only to have it ruined in the end. read more
