Online check-in is completely useless. I checked in online yesterday and showed up 10 minutes early only to find 8 people ahead of me...obviously not all of them checked in but they were all going ahead of me. Why even offer it when it's pointless?? I've always been very happy with the stylists but as a business practice, this is just ridiculous. I don't think I'll be back...I need to go where I'll have a reasonable expectation of timely service, and if you're going to offer online check-in, I'm expecting it to make a difference, which it clearly does not. It's too bad because it's no fault of the stylists, they do a great job and they can't be blamed for it being busy. I gave my visit 1 star because I had to in order to submit this review - I wanted to give it none because I walked out before anything was done, so there isn't really anything to review besides poor business practice. read more

I had my hair cut yesterday by Kait, and she was fabulous- just as the latest reviews on Google said, and even beyond my expectations. She was warm, friendly, and we even joked back and forth! She was easy to talk to and ask questions about my hair, & she also made some honest and helpful observations. I'm not a high maintenance person by any means, and only get my hair trimmed 3-4 times a year. My hair is pretty easy- a cut & style only takes about 20 minutes max, and Kait made me feel like I was getting a top notch salon experience to hold me over for the next 3 months or so. She is excellent at every facet of customer service whether answering the phone, greeting you at the door, or consulting with you at the start of your appointment. I highly recommend you see her if you are looking for someone new! read more

I was hoping Brianna was on. But she had the day off. Let a young kid cut my hair. She May as well have used a lawn mower. Lol. I walked into my house and my wife couldn't stop laughing. I try to support local businesses as much as possible, but when I needed a quick/easy/convenient last minute cut today I turned to this SuperCuts up the street from where I work. The shop itself is bright, clean and spacious. I was immediately welcomed by Courtney, who ended up cutting my hair. She was friendly, genuinely interested in the style/length I wanted for my cut, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Sometimes men's cuts/fades can be tricky, and I have particularly thick/wavy-ish/unruly hair, and Courtney did an AMAZING job. I'm super picky with my haircuts too so this is seriously high praise. I also talked to Courtney about SuperCuts in general and it sounds like they treat their stylists pretty well and give them lots of training/education opportunities and such which made me feel better about supporting this kind of corporate haircut place. Go to this SuperCuts and have Courtney cut your hair if you want a perfect, current fade/men's cut, not a high and tight from last decade. read more

the last 3 times I signed up before i left and went to the Cumberland RI location, they tell me they can't highlight my hair because its just "new" people. This is false advertising at its best, since I was told the second time that the supercuts in attleboro never colors either, too busy. They advertise supercolor and highlighting services but wont do them! That is unacceptable and I found a much better place cheaper as well! they can't keep enough help to do someones hair??? i had lived in Cumberland for 15 years and went to this Supercuts. It slowly got worse and worse... the "stylists" seem to be getting more inexperienced. I since moved away and started going to the supercuts in Seekonk - in and out in 15 minutes and exactly how I tell them I want my hair - super efficient and experienced. I get back to Cumberland every once in awhile for a few hours and decide I can get a haircut while I am there. The last two times, the stylists looked terrified to be cutting hair, cut so slow and so little off... and then it eventually comes down to me telling them specifically where to cut. I realize they need to start somewhere - but I pay just to have to go somewhere else to fix it. Should they be on the floor alone yet? is there a way to give them an on the job mentor during this ramp up time? I thought it was a fluke the first time but the location really has gone down hill. read more

Had my first ever cut at Supercuts last night in Cumberland on 1800 Mendon Ave. I was lucky enough to get a wonderful stylist by the name of Allison. I can not remember the last time I was so happy with a haircut and the service. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiles and I felt so at ease getting my hair done by Allison. She took her time and really listened to what I wanted and I am totally in love with how it came out. Definitely requesting her next time I go. VERY happy customer =) read more

*** Had to pay more than actual price *** Today I went for hair color root touch up and haircut. Service was nice, Brittany was quite friendly and attentive while doing color. At the end during payment, she told $45 instead of $35. I was pretty surprised how come sudden increase in price. On asking, there manager said that's how it is. You might got charged less in previous visits. How is that even possible!!! Is there no standard pricing The first time I got root touch up, Kait specifically mentioned that demi color is less harsh and cheap as compared to permanent color. Clearly, these people are not in sync when pricing comes. At the end I paid in full with tip ofcourse. Though I was really disappointed and won't consider it for next time! read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I went into supercuts today because I needed an eyebrow wax done quick! I have an event on Saturday and with work and all, I didn't have time to go to my normal eyebrow joint which is 30 minutes away. When I checked in the girl at the front desk asked her co-worker if "she needed to watch a video to be able to wax at that store." He replied "well do you know how to wax?" That should have been my first clue - get the heck out of there. They don't follow company procedure. But no.. I went against my gut grain and stayed. But I did tell them that I have a function on Saturday- I really need them done right. So.. The guy did them for me. I asked to simply "clean them up." 2nd clue - he took way too long. I even thought "he is either being really meticulous and getting every hair OR he's messing up." He handed me the mirror and asked "are they thin enough?" I didn't ask to have half of my eyebrows yanked off. I paid, left a tip and left. And then cried. I have been growing out my eyebrows for a long time now - skimpy thin eyebrows is not cute anymore. And now, what do I have? The biggest gap between my eyebrows and when I say thin.. I mean thin. I have dark hair and you literally cannot see the ends of my brows. I spent 30 minutes attempting to pencil them in and now I look like I just walked out of a tattoo shop and got them permanently drawn on. NEVER AGAIN! Avoid!! Seriously - I will never ever ever ever be going there again. I don't care if Chewbacca starts to grow on my upper lip. Terrible. I called first thing in the morning for a 2 PM appointment and waited 30 minutes before leaving without a cut. I tried to give them a second chance because they messed up a simple cut on my daughters hair a few months ago-- straight hair was cut totally crooked - but the service is terrible. Clearly, after reading all the reviews here, I'm not The only one who feels this way. read more
